Maulana Jelaluddin Rumi
Beautiful murmuring idol came at my door;
Entirely astonishing, for all the gorgeous.
Every Moment, He arrives in a beautiful sculpture;
conquer heart & disappears.
Every Moment, that beloved appears in new dress;
Sometimes became young, sometimes old.
He is the vessel, he is its maker, and he is the clay used to make it;
He is the reveler quaffing drinking from it.
He too is the one who buys it;
breaks it, and left away.
Once became Noah & made a world drowned by his prayer;
He himself went to the ship.
Once he became Abraham and went through the fire;
The fire was transformed to a garden because of him.
He became Joseph and sent his coat from Egypt;
Which illuminated the world.
Came out like light from Jacob’s eyes;
Then eyes got perfect vision.
For some time he was wandering on the earth;
For enjoyment.
He became Jesus and went to the rotary dome (the sky);
Was praying with rosary.
No! No! He was Himself! Coming and going;
Every century, what you have seen.
At end He arrives as an Arab (PBUP)
And Became the sovereign of universe.
No! No! He was Himself too, who said (Ana Al-Haq) “I’m The Truth”
As Mansur al-Hallaj
Indeed, He was not Mansur al-Hallaj, who was hanged on wood;
Only ignorant think so.
Rumi did not deny the truth, nor he do;
He is not disbeliever.
Disbeliever was he, who denied the truth (Satan);
& become accursed.

هر لحظه به شکل بت عیار بر آمد دل بُرد و نهان شد
هر دم به لباس دگر آن یار بر آمد گه پیر و جوان شد
خود کوزہ و خود کوزہ گر و خود گلِ کوزہ, خود رندِ سبو کش
خود بر سرِ آں کوزہ خریدار برآمد, بشکست رواں شد
گاهی بدل طینت صلصال فرو رفت غواص معانی
گاهی ز تگِ کهگل فخار بر آمد زان پس بجنان شد
منسوخ چه باشد چه تناسخ بحقیقت آن دلبر زیبا
شمشیر شد و از کف کراّر بر آمد قتاّل زمان شد
می گشت دمی چند برین روی زمین او از بهر تفرج
عیسی شد و بر گنبد دواّر بر آمد تسبیح کنان شد
گه نوح شد و کرد جهانی بدعا غرق خود رفت به کشتی
گه گشت خلیل و ز دل نار بر آمد آتش گُل از آن شد
یوسف شد و از مصر فرستاد قمیصی روشن کن عالم
از دیده یعقوب چو انوار بر آمد تا دیده عیان شد
آن عقل که فاضل شد و کامل شد و عاقل ناگاه چو پیری
چون مست شده بر سر کهسار بر آمد برتر ز جوان شد
ایوب شد و صبر همی کرد ز کرمان خود درد و دوا شد
از خانه دل نهره زنهار بر آمد جسمش همه جان شد
یونس شد و در بطن سمک بود بدریا از بهر طهارت
حقا که هم او بود کاندر ید بیضا میکرد شبانی
در چوب شد و بر صفت مار بر آمد زان فخر کیان شد
موسی شد و خواهنده دیدار بر آمد بر طور روان شد
عیسی شد و در مهد همی داد گواهی آن روح مقدس
از معجز او نخل پر از بار بر آمد زان روح روان شد
مسجود ملائک شد و لشکر کشِ ارواح آن روح مقدس
شیطان ز حسد بر سر انکار بر آمد مردود زمان شد
بالله که هم او بود که می آمد و می رفت هر قرن که دیدی
تا عاقبت آن شکل عرب وار بر آمد دارای جهان شد
حقا که هم او بود که می گفت اناالحق در صوت الهی
منصور نبود او که بر آن دار بر آمد نادان بگمان شد
این هم نه نهانست ببین گر تو بصیری از دیده باطن
این است کزو این همه گفتار بر آمد در دیده عیان شد
رومی سخن کفر نه گفت است نه گوید منکر مشویدش
کافر شده آن کس که به انکار بر آمد از دوزخیان شد
تبریز هم او بود هم او شمس معانی در گلشن انوار
او بود که در جوشش اسرار بر آمد در عشق نشان شد

He is the Cause of causes, the Generous Lord.

He showers His Grace and Mercy upon us. ||1||Pause||
ਕੋਈ ਨਾਵੈ ਤੀਰਥਿ ਕੋਈ ਹਜ ਜਾਇ ॥
Some bathe at sacred shrines of pilgrimage, and some make the pilgrimage to Mecca.|
ਕੋਈ ਕਰੈ ਪੂਜਾ ਕੋਈ ਸਿਰੁ ਨਿਵਾਇ ॥੨॥
Some perform devotional worship services, and some bow their heads in prayer. ||2||
ਕੋਈ ਪੜੈ ਬੇਦ ਕੋਈ ਕਤੇਬ ॥
Some read the Vedas, and some the Koran.
ਕੋਈ ਓਢੈ ਨੀਲ ਕੋਈ ਸੁਪੇਦ ॥੩॥
Some wear blue robes, and some wear white. ||3||
ਕੋਈ ਕਹੈ ਤੁਰਕੁ ਕੋਈ ਕਹੈ ਹਿੰਦੂ ॥
Some call themselves Muslim, and some call themselves Hindu.
ਕੋਈ ਬਾਛੈ ਭਿਸਤੁ ਕੋਈ ਸੁਰਗਿੰਦੂ ॥੪॥
Some yearn for paradise, and others long for heaven. ||4||
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਨਿ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਪਛਾਤਾ ॥
Says Nanak, one who realizes the Hukam of God's Will,
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਕਾ ਤਿਨਿ ਭੇਦੁ ਜਾਤਾ ॥੫॥੯॥
knows the secrets of his Lord and Master. ||5||9||

The Legend where all the moulana's should be proud of Hazrat Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi(Balkhi) RA. I salute from the core of the heart
Dear friends. This very beautiful poem is not from Molana. Possiebly it is from one of his students. Molana never called himself "Rumi". That being said it was amazing. I am originally Iranian and would like to thank each and all of you for making such a beautiful tribute to hazrate- Molana.

Thank you Mr. Bozorgnia for your kind review. Indeed there is debate about it, a group of intellectuals relates it to Molana as it was found in Molana's books published in India & Pakistan.
While others believe that it was an edition from his disciple later due to usage of "Rumi" instead of Molavi.
So further research is required for any conclusion.
But in both cases this poetry reflects the style, message & philosophy of Molana which is gorgeous in itself.

The poem is by Rumi but a few verses at the beginning and the end are not his

His name is molana jalal din Mohammad balkhi, his last name is balkhi, balkh is one place in Afghanistan. Molana born in balkh and all of his poem is on dari(farsi) language.
Azari Bulbul. How that will be good to we give the truth information about some one. When you said (Rumi), that means he is from Rum, you should know Rum is one place in the world. When you said "molana jalal din rumi" that mean he relating from Rum, that mean he is from Rum. I know a lot about him. Basically the most poem he have thoes are unsaid poem it is really hard to understand.

Thanks God i was born in iran and my language is farsi to realized deeply molana poems, however anybody can be touched in heart by molana.
But you will gain nothing because you don't love Islam which is the base to be able to benefit from any Sufi and his teachings. You are crazy after western culture and values and in that quest you disrespect islam burn hijab, shave women heads and display animosity towards islam and gave enemies of islam the chance to mock islam..shame on you
That is why like a well full of water which supplies water to all but itself can't use the water similarly you can't benefit from the teachings and poetry of Molana because of your hypocrisy although you can read and understand his message more easily but are like Abu Jahal who was Arab and of same tribe as prophet Muhammad SAW but still rejected Islam while non Arabs like Hazrat Bilal Habshi RA and Salman Farsi RA accepted islam.. language can't guarantee that you will follow the message
Zahara i am educated in farsi literature and spent more than 30 years with molana.he has 66000 line poems that we call it (beyt) he could speak Turky and Arabic perfectly,but he has 33 beyt in turky and around %5 of his poem composed of arabic while he preferd to choose farsi for his poems. Nowadays farsi language is deferent of 700 years a go at that time farsi was very sweet and fluent. Most of iranian now need translate for understanding of molana poems. For example molana has got one beyt using exact words with deferent meaning in farsi we use one word (shir)for milk and lion on that beyt he wants to show us two of view of life
(آن یکی شیریست که آدم میخورد وآن یکی شیریست که آدم میخورد)if you see the words exact is same but molana want to say:
There are two things apparently similar, but in meaning totaly diferent.(that is lion can eat human and that is milk can eat by human).i hope you do not confused by this example.
