I will share. Me niece loves to paint. She lives in the Netherlands. I love this paint pouring. Keep on pouring and make our life more smooth. Like your work.
Paint volumes would help me a lot, I'm just getting started and don't want to go too short or too much on paints. I'll be trying this method later this week ^_^
Just want to say thank you for this video this is the first video out of hundreds that actually shows you an easy way to make cells with great explanation
I've been dabbling in pour painting for over two months now. I watch videos and duplicate them faithfully (IMO) but I very rarely get results that look anything like the artist's finished product. I've watched at least a half dozen videos on how to get cells and never had any luck...until I stumbled across this video. THANK YOU! I made a point of using the Artist Loft paint instead of a cheaper brand, and I bought some of the coconut oil, figuring that if it didn't work, it would do wonders for my hair at least. While my cells aren't *exactly* what I was hoping for (the size wasn't as uniform as yours seem to be), they're definitely THERE, and I'm happy with the final result, so I'm totally counting this as a win.
I was having trouble w chameleon cells until i saw this video. I went to michaels and bought an ARtist LOft sample pack of pouring paint. Now i can get chameleon cells. Thank you!
Thank you so much for this beginning video. Hard to find one that sticks to the point and clearly explains. I very much appreciate your way of teaching. A big plus, i love the end results.
Hi again. I watched this video last night-- after two fails. Today, I went and got the premixed pour paints, which I've never used before. Thank you. It worked!!! Not as impressive as yours- but for my first successful chameleon cells, I'm happy. Thanks for your tips. I will continue watching to gain more insights😃👍🏼
I am so glad I found this! I am a newbie and I have a wooden fish cutout that I was trying to figure out what process to use to get an organic look. This is it. I can make my fish have "scales". I can't wait to try it.
I was thinking I could use baby oil as a replacement for the oil. I did a search and found your video. This is a great hack! ❤ thanks for confirming this for me!
Can you please make a video of how you use this coconut oil? How much do you put on the toothpick? Do you squirt the oil in a cup? Dip everytime? I tried this last night & miserably failed. Can you do a video showing the coconut & toothpick dipping as well!? Tytyty! You’re my favorite to watch.
one of the best videos honestly that clearly shows how to do it with what to watch out for. i wish i SAW THIS WHEN I STARTED OUT couple of years go! brill!
I really like your painting! I've suspended my pouring journey for now to learn art skill fundamentals. But I watch a lot of pouring videos to stay in touch with my home heart art community to which I will enthusiastically return when art school is finished. ITM I wanted to share my last pour painting had holes like on this all over it. I was disappointed that in 6 months if pouring I had yet to learn to produce cells. Little did I know how close I was to reaching my goal, perhaps. LoL Well, no matter -- what ever creative thing I do daily, all that's important 4 me is I'm doing art in some way: I'm very fulfilled! And happy!
I tried this a couple weeks ago but with straight silicone and I definitely used too much. It was terrible. I just got that coconut hair serum last week and used it once and was very pleasantly surprised at the cells. Definitely my favorite cell maker to date (I've got four other ones I won't use again, hahaha)
As a novice, I appreciate your straightforward teaching style and your results speaks for themselves. One thing that would really help me learn from videos - and I know I’ll look back at this in grimace because it’s so fundamental - would be to know the canvas size, how much paint you’re going to mix either grams or ounces and how big the flip cup is. Thanks.
I just discovered pour painting and was immediately hooked but disappointed I couldn't get the same results as I was seeing online. I tried the coconut hair serum and it worked!! I have the actual silicone oil but the hair serum blew me away. Other than the fact I used too many different colors for this particular pour the cells were amazing. Thank you so much for sharing! 😊
Going to try this on my next pour im using peblo silicone for my cells at the moment works really well when you get the right consistency of your paint that is 😅 but this method inspires
always very cool art I have a question what is the best way to get silicone off after you use it I wait two weeks rubbed painting with cloth and then rubbed it with just a little water..Some say use dish soap if so can you please exspain or what do you do I didn't get all the silicon off one of my favorite painting "s has a spot I am going to resin again I will not through it away but I love cells I admit so there is gotta be a way to resin after silicone 🙏And Thank you for all your help 😊
It's great to see one of your videos again!I've been sick since Thanksgiving!! I'm finally better!! I'm glad I saw your video!! Have a great evening...Michele (micky T's Creations)
Great video! Thanks for sharing. What is the coconut oil hair serum for? Does it have silicone in it and that’s why you’re using it? To make the cells? Thanka
This is glorious!! I tried one last night - major fail.-- even though I heard you say don't use much silicone! I used too much still. Moreover I used paints I've mixed in past and I'm pretty sure they had floetrol on them. Oops!! I'll keep trying.
If you are using the coconut oil to make cells can you pour epoxy over it when dry? Will it stick or does it act like real silicone? Love your videos and teaching style
As long as you clean the oil off the resin will work just fine I made a video on how to remove the silicone residue here - ruclips.net/video/nPDYYQB5WmQ/видео.html
Aaaand now I'm headed to the craft store☺️ I Love that you used an 'alternative' silicone... I have 5 daughters, with 6 women in the house we have bins of hair products we don't use anymore.... SCORE!!!!
I’ve watched a lot of videos on acrylic pouring and out of all that I’ve watched I love your videos the most you explain so much as you go it’s a lot of good information but there’s just one thing… wish there was a different kind of music that’s just me but I’m still gonna watch it because I’ve learned more from you than anyone. Thanks

So pretty it looks like crystal rocks

Did you make any success ? I have tried it too but the cells got too big and the whole spot got away right trough the canvas...so i looks bad

You are amazingly great at the pours you create. All the different paints I don't know where to start at. Thank you so much for the ebook.

Is there a residual amount of oil left after paint has dried? Can you use resin to seal the painting if there is oil left on the surface?
I love your technique with this one. Looks amazing!
Loraine. Hi, I am new to acrylic pouring and I love that you make this look easy. I will let you know how I get on.
Yet another gorgeous creation from you!!
