I had to keep reminding myself, trust the process.... Because halfway through it was not apparent it would reach the chameleon result. Then BOOM! Process works! Thank you so much for sharing & showing us the whole process. Inspiring and stunning!! I'm going to try one myself thanks to you and this video.

It is such a perfect representation of society. We are all one cell...each one different in our own way but all play a integral part in the bigger picture, some beautiful..some, not so much.

Thanks, George and Tatiana, for bringing up issues that affect us who like to mull our own colors - that the smallest particle size pigments are much more difficult to mull into paint, especially just using a glass muller and not a professional and very expensive three roller mill. It really is counterintuitive.
The differences you are showing using Lead White, Velazquez Medium, and Titanium White are very instructive and quite amazing. I would never have thought to use Velazquez Medium as a white until seeing your video tonight!

Johnny, I just did this on a 6x6 tile. Wanted to see if i could make it happen. I used some of my favorite colors and threw in a couple metallic colors. On top I used some dribbles of pearlized gold from Liqutex and a couple drops of 24K from DecoArt. So far, it's amazing. Each cell is surrounded by gold lines. I just squirted the paint on the tile. I didn't have a toothpick so being a woodcarving too, I carved one from a popsicle stick.. I also used silicone oil as my oil. I'm really excited about how it is going dry.
