      Ive got Alexa, and smart outlets and lights.... If presence is detected in a ZONE can it do MULTIPLE Things on 1 zone trigger ?... Example... it sees presense in a ZONE, turns on 2 outlets (that are in a group) and turn on Smart floodlights... then wait 3 seconds....and also say a 'phrase' out the alexa all from just 1 zone trigger ?
      Also can you put a ZONE inside a zone ? this way ZONE 1 (the whole area can trigger 1 smart outlet) and then the ZONE inside a ZONE can do the above ?

    • @TechWithBrett
      @TechWithBrett  Год назад

      For the first one, from what I understand you would be able to. You just need to add parameters in the routine of what needs to happen. Yes, you could have a zone inside of a zone.

    • @SdBoy
      @SdBoy Год назад

      @@TechWithBrett Thanks on the reply !! :):) Ill have to look into the parameter thing :) My scenario is I have a few cars in a warehouse.... ZONE 1 is whole warehouse turn on the CCTV MONITOR.... and ZONE 2 would be a CAR in the warehouse and the area around the car... TURN ON FLOODLIGHTS on car,TURN on the POWERED SPEAKERS(smart outlets), wait 2-3 seconds for amps in speakers to turn on then have ALEXA say get away from the car :)

    Initially, I was quite satisfied with the product, but since the last firmware update, it seems to have trouble accurately detecting my location in the room. Even after I leave the room, it still indicates that I'm at the door. I've ensured that the device is properly mounted on the wall and completed the full installation process. Additionally, I've correctly configured the walls and even created a layout of my room in the app, specifying the location of furniture like the bed and desk. However, these efforts haven't resolved the issue, and it's affecting the functionality of my automations. What steps can I take to address this problem?

I installed about 30 China region switches throughout with Global version hubs... which worked until they decided to release Global version switches. So whenever a switch happens to be reset for whatever reason, they can't be reconnected to the global version hub. I'm losing about a switch a month. Emails are ignored about the issue. They just want me to buy the global version switches instead, which cost about 30-40% more. I've spent too much to change system now, so I just have to put up with it. But I feel it's my duty to warn others about these bad business practices. Hopefully they can change.
