CORRECTION: Somehow I neglected to mention the very obvious similarities between Boltmane and Luxray. More information is supplied in the pinned comment.

Which pal did you find most interesting? Are there any you'd like to see added the most?
Just just to clarify at 8:30, Shadow Mewtwo has been shown in Pokken Tournament to become Shadow Mega Mewtwo X. I don't believe it ever became Shadow Mega Mewtwo Y though.
Oddly enough, in the desert caves you find fire type pals, and in volcano caves, you find electric. The zones just mirror each other.
They truly are an enigma of nature lol
Bellenoir definitely seems to be, if not connected to the "calamity" i mean look at it. A dark type that suddenly appears from the void or cosmos, accompanied by an ominous meteor shower. Its got creepy red eye patterns on its dress reminiscent of dark matter from the Kirby series.
Even the description in the trailer says she's an "evil" presence.
Yeah this could be a pretty big breakthrough in the lore. Very exciting times!
There are two alpha jormuntide I think one was supposed to be that cut jormuntide from the trailer. On another note on the wiki it says some pals like Jetragon and astagon have the work suitably for “oil extracting” buried the community manager mentioned we might get more ways to get pal oil, I think it’s linked in some way.

I'm repeating my comment on the original upload, the tao dragons and zoroark are some of my favorite pokemon so I definitely want dragostrophe to release soon

17:15 - This actually seems to contradict the lore a little bit too, as it was stated in one of the Castaway's journals that upon death, Pals simply... disappear. This can mean that either this little tidbit is not applicable to all Pals, or perhaps this Whale Pal does not exactly constitute as a "Pal".
I'm also excited about the prospect of the Whale Pal as well. If they truly are extinct in the (Pal)world, then who's to say that we eventually could obtain tech from the Ancients that would allow us to use these giant bones and resurrect extinct Pals, right?
That's a very good observation. Definately some odd things afoot with that.
this title was my first encounter with a "pokemon" style game

Agreed! They did a great job.
The castaways journal mentioned him being attacked while on his way to palpagos, with none of the established fractions having much of a "marine" force it seems to me that the Nessa looking character is so far the only one NPC to be a suspect for that. Now we don't know how long ago that was, but with the tree still being inaccessible there is a possibility that her or a different iteration of her will be added with their own group as the people who are responsible for keeping palpagos hidden from the outside world. Maybe when they get added there will be more journals explaining why exactly they hide the island and such.
Dragostrophe’s cousin might be called Dragastrophe Neutralis or Frostallion Neutralis.
The eye cutscene pal might be…Azurobe Dragonix? Neutralis being neutral sub species. And Dragonix being dragon sub species

one way technically already plot wise able to add either giant whale or flying snake is with how weird the breeding plus description of 2 centaur legends just add way to get key "dna" type item from giant skeletons and require beating all 5 towers plus them in scripted fight to temporally fuse them then story wise try to bypass the red border between current map and big tree but get teleported to new map with new item in inventory that at fast travel summon it to switch maps just need pillar for the big city from trailer.

Maybe the giant sky-whale is how we will get to the world tree... maybe there's only one left at a place like the genetic research lab and we have to go rescue it... just a random thought.
Man I thought I made Boltmane up in my mind or something
I heard that Dark Mutant, Dragostrophe, and Boltmane are officially scrapped which therefore will not be released in the game even in the final update which is a shame if that is all true. I don’t know if it’s because of their design resembling some Pokemon. But some pals like Verdash gets to stay in the game?!
This just tells me that palworld isn't gonna stop as long as it stays successful. I think palworld is gonna be massive as time goes on. Us fans new & old just gotta stay true.
I feel like if Boltmane gets added back In the game I feel like it would be renamed to Flamane (Flame + Mane) or something since it looks like it got rebranded as a Fire type.
I seem to remember reading or hearing somewhere that Pals don't decay, that their bodies seemingly just disappear after a time. I could of sworn that was in game. IF that's the case, those Giant bones can't be Pals, or, you just uncovered a giant plot hole before it even appeared.
Maybe they still have plans for the sky island and whales in a dlc or something speaking it was a completely different area.

I really hope they add the psychic type in a later update, with Entext being some kind of field boss or another one of those legendary lore pals, or maybe even an experimental pal created by humans, similar to Mewtwo in Pokemon.
The whale pal would be good to finally have way to transport good between the limited 3 bases

tl;dr: there was a war between sky and land territories which couldve been the past calamity frostallion ended.
What if the great past calamity involved palpagos island and the sky islands in some kind of war. The whale and dragon who both seem like theyd fit right in in an area where flight travel between islands is the core mechanic and even kind of alludes to it from the slimage of its side profile making it look like the player is facing it on a sky island thats been wrapped in a maelstrom of wind caused by the dragon. Anyways back to the war. You see the bones of both of them in the ice region where the legendary beast who is stated to freeze over the area to end this past catastrophe is found seems like the center point of this fight and it took down those 2 in the fight. As to how that might tie into the future catastrophe im not sure because it seems like the next catastrophe really seems like itll involve the void pals, but i highly expect a sky island map to be implemented where lore of some kind of conflict between land and sky territories fought.
maybe the pal at 18:39 is palworlds version of Giratina from pokemon because where that pal is located seems like a dark dimension
Hmm also keep in mind that bones are sometimes a devs way of saying that it's still there... But won't ever be in the game... Seeing as we don't see bones anywhere else there is a good chance that's the devs way of saying it's a canon thing but we can't do it.
Granted that would be before they got the influx of cash so who knows what their plans are now.
i would love if boltmane is a new style to the typings. imagine that when the pal is idle its coloration is yallow and it keeps the electric typing but as it gets more into combat it heats up and loses its electric typing and turns into fire along with his coloration. then once its out of combat it cools back down to electric. maybe have a unique skills that allows it to easily cool down or heat up faster to switch back and forth.
P.S also ill love it that it has some kind of acceleration to the riding. like when you get on and start running its yellow and electric but slow, than as its heating up and switching typing to fire it becomes much faster, maybe faster then other ground pals at max speed.
Personally I feel like the feather dragon might have been an early design of Quivern.
Ye, i think so too. And quivern and dragastrophe could be enemies in future like Katress and the Fox lady, maybe they will just update its apperance before release.

Now that we have bellanoir, it's paldeck entry is interesting to say the least, will you be covering it by itself or will you wait until the summer update so you can include all the new pals added?
I feel if the game was actually finished Dark Mutant would have been the actual end game boss.

If we're talking about the base game, then grintale cause that's my favorite Pal, but if we are talking unused, I honestly love en_text!
If I was a Tower Boss, my pal would be Digtoise or Cyrolinx

A challenge like what? 500k hp with 5 mins limit and you must use full condense and pal graded with max legendary equipment to beat? 😮💨
Very annoyed by the grinding part of this nice game.
I am wondering the same thing. Shadowbeak seems like the upper-limit of what's possible in most difficulties.
@@everberon The fun turn to grudge for me at the 3rd boss onward, I was practically calculating dmg per every 5sec I have to do to reach the total HP of the boss before 10mins. Hope they do something about this damage nerf by level crap.
