Be honest with yourself. Do you really have never acted like a jerk sometimes? I hope you haven't and i'm happy if you didn't; because i have, and i'm not happy or proud about it, but i relate to and feel compassion for people that act like jerks, because i can at least understand or imagine what could've made them be this way. Pain and grief is one hell of a burden when you feel alone.

Evangelion is a great anime but the thing with Asuka hurts . Shinji has a happy ending. Asuka doesn't have. She died in painful way . The scene in hospital . The scene where she was strangled. She didn't have the relationship that she should have with Shinji . She was treated like garbage, like she was nothing . I hate Evangelion because of that . At the end she didn't even have the love , affection she was seeking, deserved .
