As I have binge watched almost 10 per cent of your vlogs, I wanted to tell how much fun they are and how much I've liked watching you travelling the world. I m so looking forward watching the other 90 per cent!
Love your drawings and explanations...so clever and interesting 👍. Also love how you try different forms of transport and show us how you make last minute plans, and of course all the adventures along the way that come with it ...this is what traveling is about, going with the flow and enjoying every moment!
Decided to go back and watch some older vids and I have literally seen them all but wow how funny to watch these videos compared to now. I love you guys!!!
We did the two-day slow boat ride, but the opposite direction: from Luang Prabang to Huay Xai. It's a less popular travel direction. We really enjoyed it. It was quite relaxing to watch the river go by, and you could chat with your fellow passengers or just sit back and read. We did buy some cheap cushions at a market beforehand to make the long sitting periods more comfy.
We did a 3 day luxury cruise down that river! It was great. The two places we stopped to stay at were exceptional! So fun. Glad you flight to do this. Going down it with chickens does not sound like fun!

Orange bus in the '80s and '90s we called them orange crush. They used to pack us in so tight... LoL. The overnight blue busses we called blue plush. They were AC busses and were so cold...
Having done the slow boat several years ago I think you made the right decision! The slow boat was more of a test of endurance rather than anything else :)

Although I'm not a fan of buses, I could make an exception in Northern Thailand. The scenery makes up for any discomfort.

How do you know if the buses you ride are safe? Like when you are on them for hours? I haven't ventured to do that yet.
