Great explanation of Tap Fly after watching so many of your tutorials finally bought my Mavic 2 Pro absolutely enjoy flying it & started making some videos so a huge thanks.
Still another very clear and informative video of the options that the DJI Mavic 2 Pro offers. Very good presentation, friendly narrated and definitely pivotal in helping us overcome our fear with the rather "complex" or "obscure" flight modes of this aircraft! Many, many thanks for this upload!
Wow you just gave me some good ideas I have never thought of using it to manage one thing while I am doing two other things. I have always done three at once and it’s not easy. Thank you.
Hey Dylan thanks for the good stuff always. Is there a mode where we can direct the drone with our finger on the screen of the smart controller? thank you
Does the VS increase the farther above or below the white line you tap? I.e. does it descend faster the farther below the white line you tap and does it ascend faster the father above the white line you tap?
Great video, thank you. Not sure if I missed it but if you click on the white horizontal line does that mean Mavic 2 flys in straight and level flight?
Hey Dylan thanks for the tutorial I have one question, on tap fly free mode, after a while does you're obstacle avoiding completely turn off? Or has it ever? because my obstacle avoidance in all directions completely turn off when I'm on tap fly free mode. Are you on the latest firmware? Thanks again
Is there a way to make it fly vertically, straight? I need to film a 14 story condo building, ascending from bottom to top, filming straight on to the building. Using manual mode the speed changes no matter how careful I am.
Thanks for this tutorial! What does the little green circle with the "H" in it on the horizon line tell us? I noticed it moved when you put the drone into "Free" mode.
Love your videos Dylan! If you tap on the white line does it stay at the height you currently at? Also, is this the same as mavic pro basically? Thanks again
You should really put your phone in to airplane mode when flying the drone - it also helps when sharing video so that we don't see the notifications ;)
The drone flies itself. Automatically changes height as it moves. Leaving you free to turn it and control the camera. It is very difficult to get those type of shots doing it manually. It is the most important flight mode on the Mavic 2 pro.
Hey buddy, I love your tutorials. There always short and too the point. Thx very much. Check out my crazy city of PHILA flying. Lol. Phillydronelife Michael D
Great video, this is the best explanation of the Tap Fly feature I have run across.
You and Ed are the best teachers .

Nice tutorial, very clear and easy to understand.
As others have noted already, thank you for being brief and to the point - while also being thorough and educational.
I enjoy your stuff thanks keep them coming
Very helpful video, thankyou!!👌🏻
Fantastic tutorial Dylan. Why in the world doesn't this video have more hits than it does? It's extremely well made and very helpful.
thanks for this great video men!
Wow you just gave me some good ideas I have never thought of using it to manage one thing while I am doing two other things. I have always done three at once and it’s not easy. Thank you.

Dylan, thanks for the helpful tips on Tap Fly!
Gracias por este video, muy bien explicado 👍👍
great video; thanks so much. the footage looks soft but I'm sure that's due to You Tube compression as my M2Pro footage always comes out tack sharp
Hey Dylan thanks for the good stuff always. Is there a mode where we can direct the drone with our finger on the screen of the smart controller? thank you
Great vid. I've been fighting with this mode and still not sure why to use it, but your vid did the best job explaining it. Thanks!
Great video, useful info👍
Could you possibly do a video about Waypoints with Mavic 2🙏

According to the manual, obstacle avoidance turns off in TapFly free mode.
How do you tell what direction your camera is headed during flight? Is there a center or home button for that?
Very informative. Thank you.

Yes sir! Use Way Points! I have a tutorial on my channel covering it. Good luck!
What a nice tutorial. Thanks~ I subscribed and clicked I liked it button^^~
Thanks for this tutorial! What does the little green circle with the "H" in it on the horizon line tell us? I noticed it moved when you put the drone into "Free" mode.
haven't tried it myself, but looking at his home point location on map, the H on the horizon line could indicate his Homepoint direction?
@@ibainesy I think you're right. Direction of home, but doesn't speak of distance (have to look below for that).
Thanks for the tips very good videos
So much to learn...!
Appreciate the explanation, alas.... I wish they would just bring back course lock. It was so much more useful.
Love your videos Dylan! If you tap on the white line does it stay at the height you currently at? Also, is this the same as mavic pro basically? Thanks again
What is the difference between “free” and forward? The ability to control the camera in “free” mode?
thanks for the amazing tutorial
What did Veronica say about Nik's photo?
That's what I want to know
Is there a way to TapFly and maintain a consistent altitude?
Also what (if any) are the options on that horizon line displayed on the screen?
Good stuff man
Very helpful

Nick Hanson that’s true. I was about to write this same. 🖖🏻
Pro trick : you can watch movies at flixzone. Been using them for watching loads of movies recently.
@Ryder Nikolas yup, I've been using flixzone} for months myself =)

Good Job!
The free mode looks a lot like the course lock, it´s great to have it.
Does the course lock work when the POI is moving?
What model device are you using for screen record?
speakerdamage736 it looks like he’s using an iPhone. iPhones and iPads now have built in screen recorders if they have iOS 11 or greater.
Andrew Andron how do you find this or set this sort of thing up? Would like to watch back my screen record. Thx
What would you use this mode for?
The drone flies itself. Automatically changes height as it moves. Leaving you free to turn it and control the camera. It is very difficult to get those type of shots doing it manually. It is the most important flight mode on the Mavic 2 pro.
Awesome.
Is there a max speed in tap fly?
What is the purpose of this function?
Its does not support H 265 & D- Log?
Plz give me a dji mavic 2 pro camera drone.plz sir
Brilliant tutorial. Anyone else think one of those notification was their own and try tapping on it? Lol.
