Knowing what an enormous problem that an E.V. car fire is, just imagine what the enormous catastrophic issue a grid power storage system fire would be.
Power cuts will be common place in the uk under a Labour government. That’s the only way to spread the energy around when there’s not enough. People will go without. Hence government controlled energy meters, which are being fitted to willing peoples houses who haven’t yet twigged. The meter can be switched off remotely and power directed to more worthy places like schools, colleges, hospitals, businesses etc. The futures dim the futures Labour. Vote Reform.

Ahhh why cut the clip when the discussion around the car industry starts? I work in the UK car industry and have done for over 10 years now, since graduating. I love it and am very passionate about it. In the last year I've worked for 3 companies and all of them one by one have made us redundant. Either because of cost cuts ("market slow down") or because they've gone bust. The state of affairs in our industry is SO bad and no one is talking about it. Soon most of the industry professionals will have no choice but to look at options abroad - Poland, Slovakia, Romania... Even places like India, Thailand and Vietnam. The entire UK industry is systematically being deconstructed and shipped abroad. And I can only wonder why? Are we too expensive because of our energy prices, salaries or some other combination of factors? Is it linked to net zero and the desire to offshore our manufacturing industries? Please can we have more discussion on this topic. Government is claiming that the UK economy is growing faster than any othwr G7 country.... Doesn't look like it from where I'm sat. Thanks.
Net Zero is economically destructive delusional insanity. The massive misappropriation of taxpayers money and resources into uneconomical and unreliable renewable energy projects needs to be stopped. It only benefits a few renewable energy companies and their shareholders at everyone else’s expense.
Net Zero is prohibitively costly, impractical and totally unnecessary. The carbon dioxide emissions from fossil fuels have the net beneficial effects of increased agricultural yields, reduced winter heating costs, fewer deaths from hypothermia and postponement of the next glacial maximum. These benefits are especially significant in cold areas such as the UK. Net Zero is economically destructive delusional insanity. It should be abandoned forthwith and the most economical energy, transportation and agricultural resources available should be utilised. The massive misappropriation of taxpayers money into uneconomical and unreliable renewable energy projects is economic vandalism. More people are dying from hypothermia because they cannot afford heating due to soaring energy costs.
One estimate i saw was 22k per year for every household every year for next 10 years only then falling 19k because of the life span of the renewable engery replacement.

Apparently , "decarbonising" means paying more for stuff from abroad made by other countries who burn coal 😂😂😂😂
It is absolutely beyond me how any normal person could vote labour and allow this madness to continue
All the main parties support net zero.
It's an expensive con which our governments have fell for
Dont worry they will be looked after!
It is the biggest fraud in history.
Energy policy based upon ridiculous and economically destructive popular delusions.
@Permissiontospk Oh the green tax!
Is net zero even possible, I don't think so.
I wish when Julia invited a guest on she would allow them to speak but it seems impossible for her to be quiet for even one minute.

Don't forget wind turbines and solar panels have to be replaced every 20 years or so.

I have seen two E V fires, not a pretty sight , when they go up boy get out of the way , nothing much left of the car , luckily both drivers got out.

UK wasted £450bn on Covid 19.
UK debt is almost £3 trillion.
When any government talks about "growth" they actually mean the growth of government.

She hasn’t got a clue about numbers. You need that.
Grid £3 trillion properties £5,5 trillion EVs charging. £1 trillion. Extra electo replace fossils £5 trillion. Battery storage £30 trillion. Just add it all up.
The only way to get £100s of billions from the private sector is if they are promised huge forced returns . I.e huge forced bills for users.madness.
