Somebody's talking about me Voices drift in and out, inside I'm screaming But nothing comes out... I cannot move or respond. I feel nothing; I am numb to the world Life like a dream runs right past me Fragmented, distorted and blurred Then slowly, I awaken. Out of oblivion, my dormant soul is shaken Out of the coma - like being exhumed Out of the coma - rising up out of the tomb A slit of light penetrates my eyelids Shapes become sharper, sounds become clear Like floating up from the bottom of the ocean Hold still as the surface tension's broken Out of the coma - through the darkness rising Out of the coma - into a second lifetime Like a volcano - from the depths erupting Out of the coma Somebody's talking about me Only the tubes reach inside me, feeding and draining my flesh How many years have I slept by, cocooned in a living death? Then slowly, I awaken. Out of oblivion, my dormant soul is shaken I writhe into rhythmic breathing My mind finds its focus; every nerve is exposed and raw Like an orphan of the underworld A phantom from the dark abyss crawls out across the threshold Out of the coma - through the darkness rising Out of the coma - into a second lifetime Like a volcano - from the depths erupting Out of the coma, out of the coma, out of the coma, out of the coma
when i was in a coma if any body touched me i would be locked in it like i was disconnected from the outer world but could still hear kinda but i was dreaming but it was really blurry like half real dream and my brothers dad opened the door and i gave him a hug then cried really deeply and then i woke up
Breathtaking! I'm especially excited about this track and The Sacrifice... Right now I probably still prefer The First Utterance, however, this come back is brilliant. In this song, I adore the sharp violin melodies, the ferocity... and the breath of the beautiful Bobbie is just hypnotizing. It's simply amazing they could release an actual follow up 41 years later.
At least, The only Freak Folk band is back, alive, well living and out of the coma. I only wish they do a worldwide tour out of this, and come to Latin America. We spect your visit!.
Awesome band great to see them back Very best wishes to them Love it im out of the coma of waiting for comus to return there amazing sounds to us now i can see and hear
Look guys, Out of the Coma was short and not as good as First Utterance, but all it had to be was better than To Keep from Crying and it succeeded. Honestly, I hope they give themselves more time to write and hopefully put out another album if they can get the money together. EDIT: With time the album has grown on me. They are so instrumentally solid after forty years of being broken up.
i just don't understand the logic of some commentators: "not as great as first utterance, but still enjoyable". and just by what kind of standards do you measure a song's greatness? by it's "progressiveness"? this song is great, i don't get your urge to compare, can't you simply enjoy?
Im very glad they are back very talented all of them you cant beat first utterance but this is also a very good album keep it up comus dont break up again you are very liked by all that have the education to know you
Whilst I'm not so sure on the vocals, the actual instrumentals are brilliant. I'm sure if it was recorded at the same time as utterance it would be much better
This track is so bad I'm surprised they even put it out. "First Utterance Album" is a work of pure brilliance, this however shows the difference between "inspiration" and just "trying hard". First Utterance is a masterpiece.
+jamjam7921 Even though we obviously have different tastes and stuff, I find your criticism slightly exagerated. Get rid of that constant "First Utterance Expectation", it is a masterpiece, but for that same reason, it is extremely hard to even get close to it... this track (like most other music out there) compared to First Utterance obviously falls short, but if you just listen to the music, I find it is actually quite good, and worth listening again.
It's sad to say I totally agree with you, Jamjam... :/The only great thing on this EP is the live tape of their lost piece "Malgaard Suite".Such a pity it was never officially recorded...
Well, it's been well over 40 years since "First Utterance", we must recognize that things DO change in this time span. Their taste in music, references, plus the inevitable forces of time. I think you're being a bit extremist right there. Aren't bands allowed to change their style? Or are them only allowed to record something again if the new material is, at least, as good as the previous ones? If it's the case, then you should criticize them back in 74 when they released "To Keep From Crying" which was quite different from the first album too and, also, not as "inspired".
People saying it's bad or comparing it to FU.... Were you seriously expecting something like that 40 years after?
That man has the most perfect voice, what i have ever heard.
Utterly mesmerizing and beautiful..a haunting song..
Somebody's talking about me

Out of the coma

Once great always great!!!💜
I thought they will never come back ... omg this is so good!
the song is magical.
At least, The only Freak Folk band is back, alive, well living and out of the coma. I only wish they do a worldwide tour out of this, and come to Latin America. We spect your visit!.
something more that amazing...
when musicians know exactly what to do and how to compose or play...is so wonderful and ...easy!
(Greece)
greatest return ever, after 38 years of silence!
Awesome band great to see them back Very best wishes to them Love it im out of the coma of waiting for comus to return there amazing sounds to us now i can see and hear

+Skullkan6 To Keep from Crying is just purely genius man.
To Keep From Crying is way underrated. It's spacy bliss
Isso é um presente!!

The vocals are even more crazy than back then somehow .. not that it's either a good or bad thing, interesting to hear
his voice is so haunting
Thanks for the out of body experience 🌈
Love from Nepal 🇳🇵
You fucking prog edgies, this is great
after 40 years wtf???
THOUGHT THIS WOULD NEVER HAPPEN!
its like if your in a really tight spot(mentally) and squeezed into a coma
yes yes! back with a vengeance!
Much better than "To Keep from Crying" ...
awesome!!!! zajebiste!!!!
i would have to know sleep patterns, social situation, any loud noises, fears, if they are on antidepressants, familly status and money saved
Am i the only one that feel that the chorus is similar to Iron Maiden musically? jajajajajaja
great album, THEY'RE BACK!
This is so right. I don't even...
Whilst I'm not so sure on the vocals, the actual instrumentals are brilliant. I'm sure if it was recorded at the same time as utterance it would be much better
transed people be listening to comus
@@nightandlove hell yeah we are
I love the vocals !!
Remember this was a live performance not studio!! And let's face it, they sound damn good coming back after 38 years off!!
Ngl I actually love the vocals, and the wailing man 😂
And the guy singing “OUT OF THE COMAAAA”” 🤣
what are you on about?
I like it lol.
Perfect song for the Tarantino's movie
if not i'll see what i can do
there should be anti coma medication

+Tom Bañados Not to mention that first album is 46 some odd years old... Rather absurd to expect the same thing from these people...
He's old and his voice isn't as good. He's doing the best he can. Besides, your comus addiction will bring you back no matter what.
It's sad to say I totally agree with you, Jamjam... :/The only great thing on this EP is the live tape of their lost piece "Malgaard Suite".Such a pity it was never officially recorded...

The rest of the album is great, but this song is just... bad. Or at least in my opinion.
tam deli kafası hemde
