First Accessories & Modification on My 2022 Proton Saga Premium S! | WapCar

- It’s been a month since I collected my new 2022 Proton Saga Premium S and these are the first accessories and modifications I’ve installed in my new car.
I recommend everyone to install modifications after the first inspection/service (which usually occurs at 1,000 km or 1 month). This is to ensure that you’re able to bring up all the issues, should you have any, to the service centre without risking them rejecting your warranty claim for installing some accessories in your car.
It’s been a pleasant 1 month with the Proton Saga, and I look forward to sharing more ownership experiences with you all.

The ending of the video is brighter than the LED headlight bulbs Adrian installed in his GF Saga
Still not good enough to be honest.It is just better to get retrofit projector LED instead.😷

The Saga is indeed one of the best valued small sedan in its class. The biggest transformation would be that Hyundai sourced AT gearbox which have made the car drive much smoother and refine. This model is doing pretty well too in other markets, and deserving so!

Meanwhile I’m here waiting for the time to come when I can retrofit projector LED and some facncy looking rear lights since mine on the left side got banged by some motorcyclist…..Be prepared for big sum to fork out 😅

This MC2 saga is really good to drive compared to the previous model, steering wheel feels heavier and acceleration is a little better. I owned both the 2019 & 2022 models

i've tried many rainx coating from many seller and they always end up the same, the wiper blade would jumped/stuck/hesitate. i thought of it as the wiper blades fault so i've change many wiper blades to a cheap silicone one all the way to the expensive rm200 blade which carries the same results. smooth for the first few wipes then would jumped again after a month. tried polishing back to rinse of the coating and tried waxco rainx that you would get at MR.DIY. only now has been works fine without any problem even after 6 months of use. i don't know i don't apply it correctly but the waxco one is more suitable one for me
Same bro but when it rains it become smooth for me tho so I only open when rain lah which is what wiper is made for anyways.

Adrian, I bet you feel like Q when you made all the effort to upgrade the car but she as James Bond 007 just spaced out when you pointed out all the upgrades you made for her.
For the bulb, try using y8 mini projector since this bulb doesnt need the reflector in the headlamp anymore. Result? Your bulb light same like you using projector headlamp, as the bulb use projector to produce its light, not refellector. Cutline also same like projector headlamp

if i am not mistaken.. 15w30 and 5w30 has the same viscosity for our weather.. since the ''W'' is only for winter which we dont have
all the mods u did, i would do it as well and thankfully my ativa came with tint and dashcam.. so i just got trappo..

The battery of the dash cam, despite the memory card, choose the capacitor dashcam, last longer . No need keep resetting the date

If cabin led have built in pcb there is possibility of caught fire if component failure.

Saga ori windscreen vlt is 70-75%. Adding another layer tinting will make vlt lower than jpj regulation. Correct me if I m wrong 🤣🤣🤣

Nowadays cars, having body color door handle and side mirror, side trimming, soft touch plastic are considered exclusive. My wira se has all those. Funny how times has changed. 😅 dont know if we are moving backwards in order to move forward.
Oh how I missed mine so much if it weren't for the flood that we had back I 2017 in Penang.I will still be driving mine as mine was in good condition and the car was pretty modded haha.Oh well,sometimes things just don't go the way we want haha.

Definitely should have installed sound insulation extra from proton.. Worth ot it adrian.. Saga is quiter than persona and with those insulation accessories, felt like luxury car in terms of that

I have problem with sandisk endurance memory card on my dash cam, slow memory card warning always pop up, I use free memory card from my insta360 it fix the problem, maybe endurance card too slow
I'm using Samsung enduro cards, so far no issue. Have heard that Sandisk endurance cards are not very reliable

Adrian, I've THIS model. Good car, & nothing to complaint. BUT just a reminder Adrian: be careful on wet roads & driving in the rain. This car EASILY "drift" or skid when taking corners! It easily oversteer when I take the corners at 60kmh & it happened twice! Luckily no other cars around. My experience. Careful.

@@AdrianChiaa as far as i'm remembered during my persona elegance time 10years ago, if u see the lamp house casing, the bulb opening from outside have proton seal, means if u change outside, u have to tear it out. At least until the waranty period 5 years u should only do it at proton centre.. same goes with radio player.

Adrian , why not just go for an LED projector retrofit instead of reverting to halogen bulb which shows only marginal improvement. Retrofitting is the way to go if you prioritize clarity at night without blinding other road users
I’m planning to get it done probably by next year since I’m preparing myself for the upcoming insurance and road tax renewal.I probably will get front and rear light changed or front headlight with steering wheel changed either one.
Cost difference? Changing the whole projector costs wayyyyy more than a bulb
@@bongjunting6864 a good led projector costs more than halogen bulb ; again it depends on your priority - superior road clarity or you can carry on with halogen if you don’t mind
@@bongjunting6864 I got a quoation in Penang Island roughly rm1480 which is a built in LED projector unit.The cost does not worry me just the longevity of the unit.I will do the mod in the upcoming months regardless haha.😂
Converting to a different housing altogether is illegal as outlined by JPJ. Improvement from the uprated bulbs are good enough for my use 👍
