I would not have moved out of XP if browsers and software programs I use worked with it. For basic computer tasks, XP is sufficient. Everyone is not looking for gaming and high level data security. I used to see malware issues with XP but in recent years, it had stopped. Now I use Windows 7 and I do not see any need to upgrade. These upgrades are forced by Microsoft to make money. There is no special benefits of upgrades for basic computer users. Everyone in India also uses pirated MS OS without paying. No one will use it if it required payment.
