Darren McGavin was one of my favorite actors, thank you, especially The Night Stalker.
Me too.
Kolchack “The Night Stalker, The Night Strangler” are both great.
He was good in that Christmas Story movie.
Also as Mike Hammer in the TV series. In it he is almost the same character as he later became in Kolchak.
He plays his characters so well that a person can hate HIM. That's talent!
I always loved how he bashed the commercial sponsors
Carolyn Jones is almost unrecognizable with short blond hair and no Morticia persona.
As Jon Lovitz used to say on SNL: “Acting! “ 🥰😀
Wow, I knew she looked familiar but couldn't place her!
Check out a film called A Hole in the Head, with her and Frank Sinatra. She was really versatile.
She also played the victim, a sort of 1890s coquette, in Vincent Price's The House of Wax.
She's instantly recognisable but looks a bit odd as a blond. She looked good in any hairstyle. Check King Creole.
She's as beautiful as always, and fine acting.
I love Carolyn Jones (Morticia) from the Addams Family.
Hitchcock was on a US chat show, maybe Dick Cavett, I don't recall. The host asked Why did you come to America? Hitchcock: It was part of a cultural exchange program. Host: Well what did the US send in exchange?" Hitchcock: Nobody knows; they're afraid to open it.
I'm a big fan of Alfred Hitchcock and his movies. 😊
Same in my household too. 😊 This will be a nice watch for the weekend.
I am, as well.
Love his films, and his quirky personality‼️
Me too! Grew up watching Alfred Hitchcock.
I love Darren McGavin! 💕
Yes, he was a great actor, I haven’t seen him in a movie for many many years. He also had a great speaking voice, I love the old black and white movies. They were fabulous actors back in those days.
More Hitchcock please!
LOL...what a great, wry sense of humor!
If you think this is good, listen to the audio book on Audible about Hitchcocks life. Called the twelve lives of Alfred Hitchcock. Has loads of insights into the history of Alfred i
I only wish there was a little more to it, but still a good one.
The Cheney Vase ... Starring Lon Chaney as Dick Cheney. And Ruta Lee as the "clinging brunette" from Agatha Christie / Charles Laughton film "Witness For The Prosecution".
I love it. She played him at his own game....
Thanks for Hitchcock!!!! Love everything he does. I watched this show when I was a little girl....
Hi Deb, so did I, except I was a little boy.
Awesome. I love Alfred Hitchcock. I remember watching these shows on Nick At Nite in the early 90’s.
Watchwaddle is watching PizzaFLIX. 🍕🍕🍕

Marvelous ending! Another Fantastic Hitchcock plot!
Loved Darren!
Excellent! I absolutely love what you did in the beginning.. artistic license 😊
Haha That was a good one Hitchcock 😍
Hi Karen, Thanks for watching PizzaFLIX. May the Sauce be with you 🍕🍕🍕
We looked forward to these every week. Back then, TV was good (I loved Playhouse 90) and movies were still good.
Keep looking for Mr Hitchcock's cameo's, and miss them - even when the television series were running , and his movies prior to that .
A good excuse to watch good work again .
I have heard that Hitchcock always put a cameo of himself in every movie.
@@davidlium9338 Even in his classic 'Lifeboat' with it's few people aboard at sea when someone is digging around on the boat and there's a newspaper with his picture on one page.

good old darren
Wish it hadn't ended quit then.
Hate to see Darin play a bad guy.
Good example of gaslighting someone!
One of my favorites.

YEAH BABY!!!!
SALUTE, PizzaFlix! He has posted many videos for us over the years. Good to see you back.
A 1955 production ! Hitchcock is before his time.
Great script, storyline, good acting & Alfred's classic sense of irony. We'll never see shows like this again.
Absolutely brilliant ‼️
I love Patricia Collinge in everything she did. I especially thought she was wonderful as poor frightened Aunt Birdie in The Little Foxes with Bette Davis and Herbert Marshall.
I loved watching Darren McGavin in various shows when I was growing up.
Thank you.
The curator of the museum was George Macready who worked in several films including The Alligatoe people in 1959
Wonderful ending ❤🎉
I just love the sound for Alfred Hitchcock.
Carolyn Jones - Morticia from Adams Family
Thank you for uploading. My husband is a huge Hitchcock fan.
Darren McGavin was handsome!!.... Love him in Night Stalker and as the father in Christmas Story!❤😍😘❤
Love those Hitchcock flicks 😅❤
The Cheney Vase was last seen at the Haney Place.
There's always such a sly sense of humor with Hitchcock. Great episode.
Oh Mr Hitchcock ❤. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen one of your wonderful creations. I wish I could find more to watch, for free (ads are not a problem)
Hitchcock's daughter recently passed away
🙏⚘💛⚘🙏
You are right, she died in August 2021. She was a wonderful actress.
Always loved this one!
Wonderful ending!!!😅😅😅😅😅
One of the great anthology series.
👍😲👍👍😉
Vintage Hitch. Never saw Darren mcGavin as a young actor, and a villain.
Ty
❤
Looks fra gee lay. Must be Italian.
So,, this is how Darren McGavin got his start ?
Darren McGavin could really play a nasty man, what a phenomenal actor.
I liked him as drug pusher opposite very young Frank Sinatra in Man with the Golden Arm. Let's just say he took steep DROP during movie😅😂😮
geat
I AS A YOUTHFUL LADD SAW AN EPISODE ABOUT A GUILLOTINE IN WHICH A PRISON DETAINED INDIVIDUAL SOMEHOW POISONED THE GUARD WHOM WAS TO PULL THE GUILLOTINES LEVER TO CHOP OFF HIS HEAD !!!!! I THINK IT WAS ONE OF THE EPISODES ?????? IVE JUST FOUND OUT IT WAS ON AN EPISODE BORIS KARLOFF'S THRILLER TV SHOW AN IAM GOING TO VIEW IT IN A FEW MINUTES 😂😂
Must be Italian!
The most horrific part was the plastic.
2023 we are drowning in that shit.
*Tish!* You speak German?
I thought that was (a very young) Rita Lee as the new maid…
Ruta Lee
@@samdavis1958 I hate autocorrect. Yes, I did type in Rita (damn, did it again!), RUTA Lee, but someone/something had other ideas.
@@HeronCoyote1234 I hear you. I figured that was it. I always keep autocorrect turned off because it is aggravating. If I get it wrong I want it to be me instead of a machine.
@@samdavis1958 you can turn off autocorrect??? Settings, here I come!
Is there actually a way to get a Cheney vase though?
Yikes - the clot shot :) LOL
7:56 7:57 😊 9:30
Talk about gaslighting…
13th episode
Is this the dad from Christmas Story?
Yes. Darren McGavin
if it says "Cheney" GUILTY
Elder abuse.
Morticia as a blonde???
I couldn’t watch more than 10 minutes of this show. Watching a man manipulate and control a woman through lies and false praise isn’t enjoyable entertainment.
Hitchcock stories have twist endings. Perhaps you should have waited for it.
Some Sucker Tale. Ditto for the thoughts
*You've got to upload the Hitchcock episodes "The Dusty Drawer" with Dick York and another episode "Hangover" which was clearly where the movie writer got his inspiration, albeit in the form of a comedy.*
Hi John, I'm going to post a crazy little TV thing with Dick York just for you. Stayed tuned and may the Sauce be with you.
This gaslighting actually upsets me to watch... Lol i guess that's the point
Good example of Gaslighting.
women are so gullible ,I hate such episodes men trying to to get what they want got at such lengths ,she not believing her old maid of 20years ...so hurtful
