Sounds like my ‘68 GS400 convertible… it was hit hard by a drunk blowing a red light. It was put back together pretty well. I’m the n’teenth owner. Great car!
@Pro Buick that's a little bigger than the 212. Might thump a little in that 400. I like the 284-88h. For a small cam, it makes some power. 223/230 on a 110 lsa. I'm a believer in the narrower lsa cams for making the most area under the torque curve.

Did you enlarge the 1/2" oil passage on the block to 5/8"s?
I only went out to 9/16ths I was nervous about going larger with a hand drill.....
