Great video, currently tacking this problem. I pulled the switch yesterday and thought a broken dimmer wheel was the culprit (it just spun forever) but I believe it’s the solder joints. Did you reflow the existing solder or remove it and add new solder?
@@trevorgartner4194 got everything back together last night and dash lights are functioning! I ended up removing the old solder and got some fresh stuff in. Now I just need to replace my dead lights
Hey Trevor, if your windshield wipers are acting strange, and maybe the intermittent function is not working, there is a small circuit board behind the wiper switch that has a row of pins that need to be resoldered. I had this problem on my car. FWIW.
@@cheezy3259 You have to first pull off the switch knob, then remove the screws around the dash plastic that surrounds the switch. I think you may also have to remove the top cover over the instrument cluster. fairly easy, I believe all are phillips screws.

That is exactly what mine was too. reflowed some of the broken joints and it was good as new!
i have the same problem but i dont know how i can pull it out and replace it i dont wanna break stuff in this car
