There are a couple more screws that anchor the trim piece with the headlight switch and whatnot on the mk1b than what is shown here. There are 2 more at the corners closest to where you're sitting in the driver's seat. Basically, if things aren't moving with nice, easy tugs then you may have missed something. Take it slow. I just broke part of that piece that sits above the dash that you lift out toward you so it really doesn't take much.
Great video, thanks. I've got an 89 SC and I need to check my gauge bulbs. I don't drive it a lot at night anymore but this was a good guide for replacing any bulbs that might need it. I've never had the gauge cluster out before.
Great video. Have you had any issues with the dash lights not illuminating with the headlights on? I repaired my dimmer switch wheel (it just spun forever) but the interior lights still won’t come on.
I think i got lucky with my MR2 trim, Mint green gauge bulbs like in the ae85/86, and a lot of the GT options except for the supercharger and T-tops. Im slowly piecing together al the different options there were for the first gen
So I would need 7 of the 194 bulb to replace all of the dash, and 5 of the smaller 74 bulb to replace the 5 smaller ones at the bottom right? All of the bulbs went out in my dash so I just want to make sure I am ordering the correct parts
If you wanted to go white, you'd need to go with LEDs. There isn't really an actually white incandescent bulb, they all have a naturally yellowish tint.
Yo thanks so much for this video. Got my shit all fixed up thanks to you.

Nice. Do you (or anyone) know what size bulb for the defroster switch? It's much smaller.

Subbed and liked, also from the PNW. Maybe I'll see you at the coast MR2 meet up in september!
There's a September mr2 meet every year? In PNW as well and just picked up an AW11. There a local mr2 Facebook group?

Love it love the mr2 good work
Thanks !!
Do you have videos on how to remove front / rear bumper skin ?
I don't, I've not had to remove them myself. But, my front bumper does have some paint damage, so maybe at some point.
Would u happen to know how to change the guage color from yellow to white? Other than that great video man! Keep up the aw11 love!!!
