The Hunting Public the shining rock wilderness area is a eighty thousand acre burn off and probably has bucks old enough to satisfy you guys , although the deer per square mile is low compared to what I like to hunt. It actually burned all at once but in the 1940 s when there was still giant American chestnut trees , but grew back as a giant stand of natural grasses and evergreen trees such as balsa pine,,, oh but there are plenty of bears and some elk that were stocked 15 years ago although we do not have an open season for elk.
this just sold a ninja hammer. its good to be able to actually hear how the calls sound before buying them. I have a couple favorites so far, we'll see if I add this one to the list!
Great tip! I've called gobblers up into saddles numerous times. Also it would be cool if you edited in yardages as the birds coming in. When I'm watching these its really hard to tell how far the bird is from the cameras pov. Just something neat I think would make it more fun. great job guys!
Great hunt. This just goes to show, like elk, you can't always tell by their voice what they are. When is Ben and Keith going to have a channel? They like the THP are right up there with the best. Can't wait for more.
Sure sounded like Jakes coming in but that's why you wait it out! Can't always tell. That was some great gobblin' action. I'm curious how much time elapsed from the time you first heard them until you shot?
@@TheHuntingPublic No thank you guys. For all the hard work you's put in. Just for our entertainment!!!!! Best hunting video's out there. I've stopped watching some just because they get stale an boring. You guy's are a new breed. Much respect!!!
I’m just curious on how someone can get involved with a group of guys like your self or any other group and become a member of a team. I have tried getting my hunting buddies to do something like this but they all seem just to be so busy with work. So I’m just wondering how any of us could get involved in with an already established group.
I hope you guys continue your success on RUclips. You produce much better content and are far more entertaining than big market tv shows. Tv pays more I’m sure, but I’m fearful your content and creativity will end up stifled by the media giants. This is real world hunting.... Rock on my friends and thank you for what you do!
i live here in ohio and have never been hunting but want to get into it, i’m wondering is there a set time you CAN and CANT hunt on public lands here in Ohio?
Awesome hunt, fellas....enjoyed the video immensely. Couple things to point out (and I hope it ain't taken wrong) 1. I shoot a pump as well, but for safety reasons. (The video showed it perfectly). If I do miss or cripple a bird, I take off running with a shotgun holding a fired round in the chamber. If I need to shoot, pump the gun when I stop, and.....a fresh round within seconds...2. No need to sit if you dressed like a tree. Unless the shooter feels more comfortable with the thickness of the leaves to be in a lower position. Best to stand IMHO. More angle to swing the gun for what I have found.....anyways, just my thoughts. Pressed the subscribe button already, looking forward to viewing more great hunts.
You know what would really be funny.... hunting turkey in the city... you may not know it, but in Sacramento Ca. Turkey can be seen throughout the areas. Not real hunting of course.. but mock hunting around buildings and along roadways... I lived in Sac, in the Rancho Cordova area.. turkeys walking along shopping areas, parking lots..
We do everything we can to be as safe as possible. We don't load the gun until we are setup and then we unload it immediately once we stand up to move.
Can't wait for Turkey Tour 2020 to start! We're hoping to get a couple great turkey vids ourself this season!
Good luck!
“Shoot em Keith” Keith -“Okay” I don’t know why that was funny to me😂
Also funny to me!
@@TheHuntingPublic where in ohio? Morgan county is the best for turkeys. Almost all of the county is public land and there's more deer then people
You have to love it when the Ohio boys get it done!!
I can’t sleep and it’s 55 days until the opening day here in PA! Watching again I’m all fired up!
With every video that you guys put on here I just get more and more anxious for spring turkey season here in Wyoming. Congrats
Love those thick cover hunts. That looks a lot like what I hunt. Nice calling Zach.
It’s going to be wet here in Mississippi on the opening weekend and the week following. Bring the sun when you guys come.
I love how immersive tour audio is with headphones on ❤️🎧🦃🌳🍃😁
Zach western NC is about the same terrain as you were in on this trip.
We will hunt there someday!

Love seeing you three friends hunt together. Always seems like a good time !

Appreciate the support!
I love all the hunts you guys put out but the Ohio trio is my favorite! The hunts and terrain are similar to here at home!

The people who dislike are the ones who didn’t get a turkey.😂🇺🇸

As a Florida guy I loved my college years hunting mountain country, y’all brought me back! What mic setup do you use for your camera?
Thanks for watching!
Sony Wireless Microphone - amzn.to/2YuiMC5
Shotgun Microphone - amzn.to/2ytZguN
The Hunting Public thank you! Absolutely, love seeing what y’all are getting into next haha
Looks like Scioto County!! Shawnee State Forest
The gobblers are starting to rumble the hills
“Shoot him” “Okay!” 😂 that was funny for some reason
I’ll be looking at topo maps even harder tonight! 👍🦃
New York again guys? Just Eight weeks away!!😆
Probably try to hit some different eastern states this year.
i live here in ohio and have never been hunting but want to get into it, i’m wondering is there a set time you CAN and CANT hunt on public lands here in Ohio?
I’ve never tried ducking under them like this. I’ll give it a try
That looked fun!
What kinds of sling do they use
These birds are beautiful💯🥰

Congratulations guys that’s a long bird
I am for sure buying that diaphragm. I love that sound, just sounds like a raspy old hen. Got those long beards all hot and bothered.
what loads are you using with the 20 gauge
Federal 3rd Degree
Federal third degree undertaker choke
Next time you’re in Ohio, lemme know. 800+ acres of private land we can hunt

I’m going turkey hunting next month, with my grandpa who’s been hunting for over 50 years. You guys think he’ll take me to them?
Regardless if you get a bird, enjoy the time in the woods with your grandfather. You never know how few your days are left with older loved ones.
Probably a good chance you'll be in the game! Enjoy the time with family!
Blue collar Kid The birds secondary, enjoy the adventure with your gpa-I never got to hunt with mine!
"AWESOME!" lol
Great hunt , I’m 90% sure I know where y’all were, I’ve been their a couples times myself lol 🤘🏻

What editing software do yall use
Adobe Premiere Pro
Poison ivy
Running and gunning doesn't literally mean run with a loaded gun. Hunt safely boys.
He didn’t load the gun until they sat down
We do everything we can to be as safe as possible. We don't load the gun until we are setup and then we unload it immediately once we stand up to move.
Do you still hunt in Ohio?
Hell right
sounds to me like theres a long beard in there
How do you guys get away with talking so much when the turkey is so close to you??
y’all talk way too loud
Boys, please come to Vermont to hunt!
Just ordered a Ninja Hammer 👍
Awesome hunt!
