Jake's stanza was just hilarious!!! The gibberish would aost make you think he had forgotten his lines. "Drinking country beer, and giving whiskey to my beer."😂😂😂
A worthy substitute for the original nonsense, where the real boot morphed into a fake boot that morphed into a homicidal knife that exploded in flames, while Jake the dog morphed into the real boot (most of which they probably couldn't do on stage)
The absolute best moment that I'm really sad that they didn't get to show in this video was the truck went for way longer than I think they expected it to go. It would have been really funny to see the camera follow the truck all the way to the side of the stage where it ended up. I was up on the top left side of the audience, and just seeing it travel off was hilarious
Absolutely loving the new repertoire direction for NF4 where it's really weird and wacky music. So happy to see them finally get a well-deserved medal and I'm excited to see what they bring next year!

I found that at first, I pretty strongly disliked this performance. For some reason I really didn't like the lack of comedy. Don't get me wrong, there's tons of jokes and funny stuff in this performance but I just didn't find it funny. So I never watched this again. But then I realized... The arrangement is literally the best thing ever. 2:09 - 2:23 runs shivers up and down my spine and I can't thank each and every member of the NF4 enough for singing this. Every time I hear this song, my mood and my dopamine count immediately bump up by like a couple thousand points... whatever that means... I just am so happy that this song exists, and I cannot thank the arranger enough for creating this. And I'm starting to repeat myself but I just can't explain how much this song has changed my life in three weeks.
only thing worse would be a song parodying beauty and the beast's Belle but making it about the idiosyncrasies of the barbershop convention so dumb ugh
