So I was googling how to create something similar to AG1, I had a subscription with AG1 and even though I could afford it, I just couldn't justify paying that cost and supporting AG1 when I knew there was something I could create on my own with very good ingredients. Thanks for your video, it was on point.
Magnesium glycenate in powder form is much cheaper than $120 for 6.5 oz. Though it might be your are getting that for $24 per 6.5 oz. Pricing can still go lower.
Awesome! Yes... we're all for trying to find more cost-effective ways to do things that are nutritious. Lol. 😄 Thanks for the comment. Hope you enjoy it! 💪
Love this my man! Really appreciate you putting this together. Now in terms of modifying this greens powder - adding additional components etc... How would you think about this? Whats your greens development strategy more generally? I'll certainly give this a try - but would also like to have a very clear goal in mind when making any iterative changes... The way i see it (coming at this from a naive perspective) - the utility of greens powders is generally to mitigate inflammation from daily lifestyle habits... What's your take on "Why take greens powders?"
Am I right in my understanding that you could combine all of these powders into an airtight container and just scoop out the 3.5 tsp of the full bulk mix every morning? Rather than scooping the individual products everyday?
Great question! The main risk of pre-mixing everything in one large container is that you may not know the exact amounts of each ingredient you're getting per scoop/serving (things don't always mix evenly in large amounts, so it's hard to tell).... though it takes a bit more time to measure each ingredient for a serving, you'll have peace of mind knowing you're getting the exact serving amount for each ingredient. One way to work around this is to prep servings in small bags ahead of time for the days ahead (like mentioned in the video). I hope this makes sense! Let me know if you have any other questions.
I’ve looked online but thought to come to you for your advice, because I’ll consider it more but any advice on how to get healthier lungs? I recently quit vaping, got back in gym and back into soccer but noticed my cardio isn’t the same. Maybe time will help with work but inwant to work to be better physically and diet wise
Rather than paying $40 for a jar of magnesium by Thorne, can you just use the nature made magnesium supplement which is about half the price and still get the exact same benefits?
@masonpowell1955 - Absolutely! You're free to use whichever magnesium you'd like (or omit it altogether)... the reason we like using the one by Thorne is that it has monk fruit, which is a natural sweetener... it's also a bisglycinate, so it doesn't have a laxative effect like some other magnesium supplements can have (like magnesium citrate).
Whole foods is always better but some people don't like to eat vegetables and so it's easier for them to drink it down quickly. IMO, supplements is exactly that. It shouldn't be a daily and forever thing and people should try to eat whole foods as much as possible but drinking this is far better than not eating any veggies at all.
So if I buy all this and if I take it 2X a day then how long will it last me? Like about 2 months and a half? By intaking this, how does it make you feel and what does it do for you? Please explain your experience. I’m very interested and would like to hear your experience. I am looking to budget with a quality super green that will be worth it and last longer. I just order all of this but for the Hawaiian pure spirulina looks different. Is it the same product but just a new label? I got it off of Amazon. Hopefully it’s the same product.
@@jvig237 not the taste. I force myself to drink it. It taste okay but I’m okay with that because I’ve always drink other different kind of super greens. And this one does last longer compare to other super greens. Not my favorite due to taste but I’ll settle for the benefits and because it last longer
@@BeautifulLove8888 sorry I should have been more clear, I am debating on purchasing the ingredients but was concerned when he said in the video it doesn't have the same amount of micronutrients and all that. Do you think this has had any effect on your life?
Using this formula for over a year - Taste great and saves money. Thank you
Absolutely, brilliant! Such an affordable alternative to make your own greens at home! 🔥
Thank you so much @drajlee 😊

Amazing video. Thanks a lot for taking the time and sharing.
Anything that stops the greed of companies like AG1 - I’m all in! Well done you
You are my new favorite person! Thank you so, so very much! I love how you break it all down and explain the 'why' behind each ingredient. ♥
Thank you so much for the kind compliment @Susie-Joy! So glad you found it valuable. 😊
Thanks for taking the time to make this video and doing all that research! This is awesome and such a great alternative!
@hopester97 - Absolutely! So glad you found value out of it!
Just order all the supplies, looking forward to try it out! thank you
@prepandgovegan - Awesome! So glad to hear you're planning to try it. Let us know what you think! 💪
How did it end up going? I'm debating on doing this myself but am unsure of the effects because he was talking about it not having the micronutrients
Show us more please? Trying to cleanse my body, and loose weight… mostly tummy weight. Tysm!

Put me in the game coach🤣 the cost of AG1 was preventing me from pulling that trigger! This is great! Will be incorporating this recipe

If you were to add all of the bags of ingredients to a big container, how much of that bulk mix would you scoop per day?
I second this question 🙋♀️

Great video! Very informative thank you very much!

Heard magnesium needs b12 in order to function properly in the body
Thanks for the recipe!!
Would you say this can be an effective alternative to a daily vitamin?
Thanks … just what I was looking for.

wow, never heard of Baobab before!
Wow, thank you so! You got a new subscriber now! :) :)

Same!! Thank you for your research. This will save money!!
Is there a bulk recipe for this? I’m thinking of trying this! Thank you. Yeah $88/month is INSANE! 😂
Could you just pre-mix the powder ingredients ahead of time or do they not store well together?

You could add a few berries, etc. to add whole foods.

Just ordered all needed

I drink tea with black pepper, turmeric, cayenne pepper, lemon juice, ginger, and minced garlic. Cleared my lungs up well.
@@jvig237 appreciate it my bro 💯💯I’m going to start incorporating that into meal plan.

How about Chlorella. Pretty incredible ingredient. Thanks
Very cool

My choice for the green drink is Mountain Dew. 😂
If it has so many health benefits why is it not a good idea to substitute it over whole foods?
