I've always had trouble working out when I'm supposed to lift my leg to get the timing on the downbeat of the bass drum. I've seen some drummers lift it on the previous quarter note, but you seemed to lift it on the previous 16th. Would you mind explaining how you do it please? Thank you for the video.
