Hey Sally, i love your channel and hope you get better real soon from your accident 😊. I ride something way different to you, a Canam Ryker ( totally stock) harsh suspension, twitchy handling but keeps me on my toes, love it and totally agree that just ride what you ride and screw what people think or say, just enjoy and get out in the wind and carve those back rides 😁
I concur with all you spoke about riding and riding a hardtail. Riding a non-suspension bike will make you pay attention or you may get the, oh shit that pot hole rattled my teeth, or I'm sorry spine for doing that to ya! lol! I too don't ride interstates. I-85 runs through where I live and it's nothing but a death trap in my opinion. Backroads where I ride at the speed I want cause there's no other traffic and the roads aren't in that great of shape anyways. This world and time flies by way to fast, and my goal is to slow down as much as I possible can and enjoy this beautiful world on two wheels. Loved the video! Y'all keep wrenching and riding! Peace
@@seanorrick8921 It is Great, 72 + being back on my bike, Deuce, Riding Free, in the Correze France ., twisty bends, rolling hills and mountains, Amazing scenery ,
That is a beautiful scene. The one thing I have enjoyed about Colorado. I will have to make that ride before I go. I have always liked the scenic route over going through the same bs traffic filled roads every day. As for hard tails, I would like to experience one, but I do have to be careful. I have a broken tailbone, so I need some padding and that rear shock assembly. I do like tasteful choppers though, and want to experience it at least once. I have never trailered my bike, and have only hauled it when I have to move. Otherwise, I only own the motorcycle. I haven't owned a car in 8 years now. That is the transportation method I have chosen, and I love it. Bikes and Jeeps lol, but I haven't had a Jeep in a very long time. Maybe one day, but the Jeep would be parked 90% of the time, only taken for high cargo requirements, hauling or snow. Great video, and thank you for showing off that amazing view. 🖤
Great video & words, people need to quit categorizing what they do or dont, and just do what works for them. Only one life, fuck the fuckin' fuckers! Be yourself.
Ride Safe, Ride Free, with the wind blowing in your face, and you can smell the countryside, I went for a ride the other day about 70 miles, I have forgotten what it was like being able to smell the countryside, People cutting their grass, pine trees, Going through small villages with abundance of flowers growing on the roadside as it is in rural France, Very beautiful, People seem to take pride in their villages and properties, Even the smell coming off the road from the tarmac being very hot, Twisty Bends Rolling Hills, Up and down mountains, , France.
I used to have a hardtail -rigid- framed BSA from 1949, and I rode that bike all over Europe 25 years ago. it was lovely. I wish I'd never sold it, 50 mph everywhere, it need a fair bit of road to corner fast, but it tracked fair and square. Rear suspension is overrated and squidgey. Love your videos.
I've been on that ride several times and have been living in Cedaredge for 24 years. and a firm believer in riding to an event than trailering one anywhere.
Beautiful ride, thanks for taking me along. To each their own as long as you own it I always say. I definitely agree with you on the two lane vs interstate and whilst I'm happy to arrive at my destination, I treasure the journey. Love what you folks are doing. Safe travels.
Right on sister well said! Im 71 ride a 1990 softail engine #2 im in so oregon try to ride all year we dont know how much riding we have i grew up on bikes my dad was a rider sadley. love the bike. Hope she holds together. C'mon we all know why you love the hardtail, the vibration and the bumpy roads. Keep the videos coming. I've enjoyed every one of them.
Beautiful country you’re riding in. One day I hope I make it out that way to pound some pavement. I’m a flat lander down here in Florida but do ride some mountains once a year at the Georgia Grundle Run. Peace and motorsickle grease!!✌️
Hey Sally , I’m the old coot from New Jersey 😢who met your folks in Hill City !!! Made Mom’s day when I asked about u !!!!We rode out on a bagger but Have a 77 Shovel in garage !!! Be cool Ride Free !!! See ya out on the road !!!!!!
Hey, it would cool if y’all would do some “how-to” videos in detail - how to replace a starter, adjust valves, camshaft replacement, stuff like that, and include tools needed, wrench sizes, things to watch out for, etc.
Spent 30 years riding hartails but if we had roads like yous done there I probably still would be. Can't go a mile these days with out pot holes it seems. Ride safe!
Totally agree with you, Here in the UK the roads are 10 times worse but I still ride Hardtails, I wouldn't be without one totally different ride but that's what I prefer to ride 'Not fast but definitely more fun' 😁🤘
I rode that ride in reverse about two weeks ago. I'm going to ride it the way you just did either tomorrow or Tuesday. I was rolling through Delta about 3:00 pm and by the time I got to GJ that Twin Cam was getting hot. I'll start much earlier this time.
Awesome! Man its wild to feel the temperature difference climbing up that Mesa, bikes love it lol! Ride free and enjoy 💚😁 we have such amazing rides out here
Damn nice-looking country, that trailer on the side of the street and that car that pulled out in front of y'all made me pucker up!! Be safe on the trip to Sturgis Stay Hard 🤘FTW 🖕
Being a wild child of the 70s it's good to see you know what it's really all about. I could not agree more on your outlook kiddo.Hey do you have a page or contact I could send you some pics of the ironheads and shovels my little brother and I have accumulated over the last 20 years. I think you and your hubby will enjoy them.
Just came over here after visiting Adam Sandoval's page, I'm even wearing my fingerless gloves while typing this drivel. 😆. Keep it real, and rubber side down.
Yeah, comfort. The older riders get, the more they want a “comfortable” bike. Lol. The reason they are not comfortable is that they are OUT of SHAPE!! You gotta be in good physical condition to ride, it’s that simple. So, exercise, lose weight and you can ride across the USA on a Honda 450!!
Hegshots rides , you tube channel, has a video that popped up, about going to Sturgis. And the guy is on his way to sturgis sitting in passenger seat of his truck trailering his bike. A fair size channel. So i text , well if that dont say it all, people you really want to watch this nonsense.

Good morning 🌅, Sally and Husband, I hope you are recovering, okay, I wish you both a speedy recovery, ❤ from the DEUCE DUDE, France,
I used to be a hipster poser. That was my mid 30's. I've evolved so much in my mid 50's. Can't wait to see what I'll be like in my 70's.

Hey Sally l wish you would ride more in the middle of your lane, just makes me nervous, keep the rubber side down and the wind in your face 🇦🇺🇦🇺
Don't know about no rear suspension but I'm sure I wouldn't last long with only a rear brake🤕
Really should have some front brakes!
Yes i keep front brakes on my chopper with all the hills and mountains out here!
