- Dartmoor becomes alive with the weather, and it certainly did on this day.
Wild, windy and wet but tons of atmosphere.
Great fun, if a little challenging at times.

Super kind Peter 🙏 lovely feedback, thank you 😊
Wild but wonderful! Great shots too 👏👏👏
It was an interesting day for sure Will, actually got blown over once 🙄
So pleased you enjoyed and thanks for lovely feedback 🙏
Lovely video Chris, you captured the ambiance and high drama of the moor very well. Not many folk like to venture out when the weather is rough but perhaps these are some of the best opportunities?
We are on the same hymn sheet Sandy, wild weather stirs the soul, in a good way 😊 as you know it can get a little challenging with the kit, but always worth the effort.
Great to have your thoughts, always really appreciated 👍😊 Cheers 🥂 Chris
Epic is a understatement
Reminds me of the time I did the 10 tors back in the late 1970 got the chills and goosebumps' again just watching
Interesting Patrick 😊 have to say I love the place 👍
The photo used as a thumbnail, really, is a piece of fine art, kind Sir! Well done! That picture belongs in an art gallery
Extremely kind of you to say 😊 interesting that I’m in the process of getting big prints of my favoured work to use in the very way you’ve described 👍
Any suggestions very welcome 🤗- Cheers 🥂 Chris
Magnificent! Thank you.
So pleased you enjoyed 🤗 Cheers 🥂
The timelapse are fantastic. You truly motivate me to get out more whatever the weather. Some stunning capture also. 🙌🏽🙌🏽
Such nice feedback Hakeem, sincere thanks 🙏 I don’t mind getting wet, not so keen on wet and cold 🥶 tho.
But in summertime not many excuses really 😊👍 Cheers 🥂
@@FarmerTorque Agreed🙌🏽
Really lovely watch Chris 👌 The bnw stills are such strong images, clear to see at times you had some fab light and drama. I also loved the timelapse footage, the cloud looked so low, like you could reach out and touch it 😊👏👏
Well that’s a really nice comment to receive on a Tuesday evening Bob - great feedback, thanks very much indeed 😊👍 Cheers 🥂
@@FarmerTorque Most welcome 😊
Good to see!
Cheers James 🥂
That was some rough wether Chris but you got some great shots.
Cheers Lyn 🥂. It was pretty breezy on the Tor, in fact while taking the main Tor pic I was literally blown over 😳
Even at its worst, nature is always beautiful.
Yep, it is indeed Mark, have to say I love this weather cos it gives so many opportunities.
But I miss loads too - while up by the Tor there was a glimpse of sun on a distant Tor - would have been a fab image - just didn’t have time to change lenses (I tried) 😊 Great feedback
@@FarmerTorque Going to wait for the kids to go back to school and the madding crowds to subside a little , then head down your way on the bike for a few days. Its been far too long.
@@markmundy3435 - Sounds a good plan 😊👍
I found you during my search for info on the fuji 8mm. I clicked on the next video and really enjoyed this one. I just started following you on Instagram. You have a great style for vlogging and a wonderful eye for images! Thank you for inspiration to do more and brave the elements.
A heart warming comment 😊 thank you 🙏 and good luck for the future 👍
I guess Hugo didn't fancy coming out that day ?
Hi Chris, no afraid not, he’s not the best on his pegs so stays at home on the farm, and love it 😊
