I have no idea what Cartoon Cat is and at this point I'm too afraid to ask.

Julius can be used in so many ways by Disney. The guy can be either a tragic character or a bigger villain to Mickey than Oswald. I miss the guy ;-;

Most of the successful cartoons at the time were cats and as they tried to cash in on that bandwagon they made Julius into a cat :)) since they ended the Alice Comedies and had to find a new character, they decided to deviate from the norm and create a rabbit with Oswald
Overall i think that Julius has a much more tragic past then Oswald
Hear me out: even while Disney lost the rights to the rabbit Walt still loved him and wanted him back, you can tell by a drewing he made showing the rabbit quite ang to the mouse.
On the other hand, Disney never lost the rights to Julius and they could always give him a comeback but decided not to, it's one thing that everyone forgets/ don't care about you but it's even worse when you're creator does it
So, instead of Oswald being angry for having his fame "stolen", Julius is angry because he wanted to be accepted (And no, Julius was never famous or a star, he always was a supporting character or a deuteragonist at best).
Julius was also constantly getting criticized for being a “clone” of Felix the cat

I think that in a video it says that Disney and company were even getting tired of Alice Comedies, so Julius was actually forgoten by them

These two Juliuses are so different they are nothing alike(except they're cats). Just two characters sharing the same name.
I wish there was a crossover cartoon where Julius and Felix meet each other being confused about looking alike
A way they could've made Julius different from Felix while still making him clearly visible i black and white could've been to make him striped. Grey with white muzzle, paws and stomach, and black stripes on the back... or maybe white with some big black and grey spots like some mixed breed cats.
i think it would of been fine if they just kept the white belly and paws

Fun fact there is another Disney character call julius he is a giant monster that appeared in a short called runaway brain and he's also a secret boss in Kingdom hearts dream drop distance.
I hope in new Epic Mickey (in the future) Julius and Alice appear in the game. Where Mickey and Oswald meet them on stopping evil Pete after Shadow Blot and Mad Doctor.
Real talk if they ever bring back Julius, they should redesign him with two tails

Knowing this, I'm surprised that they never made an Epic Mickey 3 game with Julius the Cat as the main villain. His story is the same as Oswald's except even Walt Disney himself forgot about him. Poor little guy.

I think if Julius should make a come back, put him in clothes that way he'll look nothing like Felix the Cat and have him as Ether a good guy or a bad guy
I was first acquainted with Julis the cat from Alice on the Farm in my Film Making class in The Summer of '75 when I saw Alice on the Farm and even called him Felix and the other kids were even asking "Felix? Then my Sister Karen said "Well it looks like Felix?"So we must consult The Disney Channel and other Sources to have Julius and Felix meet in a modern day depiction.
A lot of people say the Oswald is the Spinel of Walter disney

I know it's been done before with Epic Mickey, but I think there's a lot about him and his bonds with Mickey and Walt that both games failed to take full advantage of. Not to mention newer appearances and a new short film!

It all started with a mouse and the mouse was started by a rabbit and the rabbit was started by a cat
Maybe to differ julius from Felix he can wear green shorts and other little different changes
well ... Julius did have a change in appearance but charles mintz asked walt to do another cartoon that was why alice comedies disappeared leaving place for Oswald The Lucky Rabbit
I figured he could wear green shorts while Mickey has red and Oswald has blue. I wasn't sure if they all would have buttons on the front and if they all wear shoes like Mickey's, would there be different colors?
I never in a billion years that this Feliz the Cat knock off ever existed, and he came right before Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, and his rival, Mickey Mouse, was even born!
And yes, he did appeared on one of the classic disney short series, Alice's Wonderland!

I’ve always wondered why Walt kept, including Pete in his Mickey Mouse shorts, but he didn’t include Julius

It would be cool if he became a villain in the Epic Mickey games since Oswald the rabbit was originally supposed to be a villain or main antagonist in his return to the public but had the concept be changed in the final product. I don't know, I think it would be cool if the company ever remembered that game series existed.
