Ford kind of put themselves in a box here. They are still trying to sell 22 and 23 GTs for 45-50K. No one in their right mind is going to pay 50K for a 2022 when you can buy a new premium GT for 46. I don’t know what Ford has planned for the pricing of the older models, but they have to come down. They kind of cooked themselves setting up pricing like this. Anyone else agree?
Fuck over the dealerships so they go out of business and switch to a direct to consumer model lol. Dealerships are a major liability for a lot of manufacturers due to them losing out of profits and taking a hit to their reputation due to dealership markups. If they can make large volume cars for the next gen take a price hit after many dealerships have too many overpriced cars on the lot a lot of dealerships can take a loss and be hurting so ford can swoop in and offer a buyout option to the dealerships so the owners don't lose money. That's how I'd solve that dealership markup issue if I was a manufacturer.
They probably offer deals as they get closer to the new ones coming. That’s the potential advantage of getting it. This is pretty standard. Pretty much every car company’s has a new design coming out every year and still have the previous models until the new ones come, it’s pretty standard. This isn’t that weird lol
I recently bought a 23 gt premium fully loaded except magma ride I paid 58 and they were asking 61 and managed to get it down but I ordered it last year October
I've spoken to the Ford dealership that I use & he said there will only be allocated cars (no special orders). And a dealership would be lucky to get 2 for the entire model year.
BS..... if they weren't so busy trying to sell trucks at +30k over msrp, they wouldn't be stuck with so many of them that they can't sell anything that people ACTUALLY want. That's ok. When they start going bankrupt for trying to screw customers to hard, I'll start making my inquiries and they can play MY games.
@@theblackamerican78723 trust me, dealerships will find a way to include their mark up hidden as 'fees' and other costs 'shipping & handling' lol lol lol. All this for a 3900lbs 500hp car 'dark horse'. Better off looking at a slighty used car and saving 10s of thousands.
Great Job! Really detailed with good insights. I just got in line to get one of the two allocated Dark Horse for this year. I am a older dude and just like with my C7 Corvette, (which I will sell) I went basic bread and butter. Never going to track it and drag racing in the streets are the old days for me. My wife runs some dealerships and I have to pay sticker minus employee purchase (under her name) and we get dealer hold back of around $2,200. Maybe I am paying a lot more then the GT for a bit more horsepower and badges, but I plan on keep it forever. Thank you again for your review.
Bro when they hit the dealership that 30k will be 42k the dark your looking at $100,000. Remember when the newer Corvettes came out? It was said to be the poor man's Ferrari. Base model started 50k then they hit the dealership and "up, up, and awaaay"! You can find a used c8 70k easy. Good luck getting one of those mustangs it's going to be tough!
Ricardo is right! I called and spoke to a Ford dealer in Kansas and they said and I quote: Whatever packaged deal someone makes, we will mark up an additional 30K on the car because they were only allocated 5! So dealerships can and will mark up!
Nope, they can keep that Mustang. I will never pay that much for a car. These companies and dealerships are crooks today. One day buyers will realize this and not buy an overpriced car.
@@FitzCityGarage are you 💯 % percent sure??? I’m saving up for the dark horse but right now I don’t have enough of a down payment for the car! I should have $20,000.00 by this time 2026 and another $30,000.00 in 401k! I can use half of my 401k savings money as a down payment for the Dark Horse 🐎!
If you can find one. Have a 22 M1 now, but was really looking for a 21 and up 2ss 1le. Gave up and bought a used Mach premium with 900 mikes for 55. Even had all the HP stuff that the previous owner put on, win win.
$3,370 more for the 2024 gt compared to the 2023 gt. Ya im going to pass. That's not worth it. Ford messed up with the pricing. Camero has more power for cheaper.
There's a new saleem SA 40 edition with 800 HP. But only limited to ten. Basically, Ford is faster then a demon and Camaro It's expensive though lol. Demon is still faster. My bad , but In sure when the electric models come out. They ll be faster then a Tesla. 👍 We'll start calling that a pinto after. 😆
The eco boost only comes in automatic for 2024 so that price should be for the auto
I agree, He missed that Completely as the replies have stated, ONLY AUTOMATIC!

Totally agree if you're thinking a 2023GT or even a Mach 1 which a number of Ford dealers still have. by all means. WAIT

I just watched a video from Racer X & he special ordered a Dark Horse. Maybe the dealership near me was guessing.
60k for a N/A mustang is absurd. (That's without markup) I'll just keep mine fr
U cant mark up a order
@THE BLACK AMERICAN tax, title, fee will be over 60k (if not at)

I miss when the gt was like 34 grand starting out.
I miss it at 24k lol
Ah yes.... inflation.
Except it's not inflation that will make dealers mark them up to double MSRP or more

Just so you guys know the build and pricing releases next month on the 27th also, just check mustang 7g for updates
This is Ford's website lol only thing they haven't given us is the builder with additional add ons.
They aren’t making the EcoBoost with the manual. It only comes automatic for the 2024 model year

Base model Ecoboost come standard with automatic transmission in 24.
Yes, there is no manual trans option for the 24 Ecoboost.
For this price, I rather get a low mileage GT350 which will be a collectors item in the future.
Ah yes can't wait for the dealer mark ups! They'll be for sale for at least 90k
lol just order one directly from ford. Markups are for people who don't want to wait

Will there be a 2025-2026 Ford Mustang Dark Horse ????
Absolutely! It's the replacement for the GT350 and Mach 1 so to speak. There's already rumors of a Dark Horse R 👀

I am looking at the 2018 GT. Fuck the new models. I actually get to modify the older model lol
There is no manual in the EcoBoost.
The 2024 Shelby Mustang is going to be 776 HP or more???
Thank you for the info, how can I get a Dark Horse?
Order banks aren't open yet from what I understand.
From what I been told from my inside source, each dealership will only be getting 1 dark horse.
Yea those prices are high, smh.
Still can get a SS 1LE for $48k…

No they don’t. The SS Camaros only have 455hp vs 480-500hp in the GTs. Plus are soon to be discontinued next year.
you can even spell Camaro
Randy dandy power ain't everything but you do know the STD GT has approx 480hp?
Stay with a 5 or 6 speed transmission!!!
At over 60k just get a c8
