Can you do a tutorial on how to pedal?
You push down on the pedal that's the highest with only one foot (left foot on the left pedal right foot on the right pedal) really well and that gives you speed, otherwise you'll fall down. Then when the opposite foot is highest, you push on that. You keep going, and adding more pressure gradually, which will give you more speed.

Big ups for using your helmet even for the easy tricks
These tricks are easy but I’m struggling on how to keep my wheel up and keep peddling when doing a cat walk (I’m only 3 days into bmxing)
Dope video Jacob definitely keep them comin. For whether a trick is easy or not I feel that really depends on the riders. Some people find certain tricks harder than others and other people might find the opposite for those same tricks
Another easy one is a little fish tailing, beginners can even use their back brakes in some loose dirt or gravel and kick the back end right or left, always a fun little easy trick anyone can do anywhere...
I loved the last video but the only thing I have a problem with is the cat walk

I used to like to do no handlers standing on the rear pegs when I was a kid, until trying it downhill on a dirt road. Got some sick road burn. Now I like to sit with my feet on my front pegs to do a no hander strander. Makes me feel like I’m on an old choppa
The last video was good man the people that think it’s too hard probably either didn’t try it and just watched it or tried it once(or they aren’t physically able to do them) no offense but like I’m a beginner and I’m trying them all constantly except 180 I’m not ready for that

Hey man just got a BMX and been trying to do simple tricks but when doing even the simplest ones I loose courage half way what the best way to overcome this
You just do it, try not to anticipate it right before your attempting it, is psyching you out
Get a helmet and protective gear. I am so afraid of doing even the easyest things. But when I put a helmet on and some protection for my knees, hands and two of those things that people use for football so when the pedals hit your legs below the knee it's not a dieing pain. I get unstoppable and do stuff I wouldn't normally do.
You should do the “basic 5” video! Legit, the five done in a novice mode even better pushing a legit noob through the basic 5 tricks or practices that leed into the real basics. I’m getting my 13yo into park tech and having a better video of the basic five would prolly help her out a lot. I can get her through em but I’m dad! But in the end, that starter bike the Kink whip, will be replaced and she will get my $3500 factory team BSD freedom(all gsport and odyssey shit)

As for your last video, I’m midschool and 40+ and still ride vert and OG street park(big stuff) and carve bowls when I am not on a ride tour. So the last video had a bit of that slow riding tech(us old dudes have fucked cores, so tech shit is out of the question) but I get it, your younger, tech is your gen and full sends and battle scars are mine(8 days ago I lacerated my fkn liver riding a street plaza(scooter park) so don’t think I don’t still ride hard) I’m not a overweight dude by any means, been riding bmx for 30+ years and out side of internal scaring, I’m physically fit. Still no core to do tech, my liver got hurt from attempting simple tech just to keep up with the fkn times ☹️

also my bike isnt a good BMX bike for tricks its so heavy and it dosnt have free wheel
Can someone help me know what this is? When I like go backwards on my cranks, it doesn't go fast. Like my cranks don't go backwards fast, they go slow. I can't do a crank flip if that makes more sense. Idk please help me know how to fix that, thanks, God bless you all. God loves you.
Either your back wheel is so far back that your chain is really tight or crank barings are not good. Or its all not greesed, spray wd-40 on chain freewheel cranks ...
