I saw the movie. My thoughts were really good. I loved how the perspective of the movie was even though it was such a horrible time a little bit of light of kindness uplift someone and Julian sacrifice his life for her.
@@Boblovesmovies thank the saddest part was at the end with Julius obviously I feel like I knew once they got off the truck I knew what was going to happen but Julia is singing the song with her was like to me he knew he was gonna die but he accepted it
Excellent review. I recently saw the 2017 movie Wonder too and really want to see this sequel White Bird based on a similar theme of kindness. The setting in German-occupied France is my kind of movie.
I listened to the audiobook, so a few things I knew were coming had me really choked up. I cried more than I thought I would, though. I was bawling in the scene with Julian running in the forest and later at the speech.
I've never cried so much through a movie like i did. It was a very emotional story that I'm so glad was told. There was a couple who walked out about half way through the movie. They should never be allowed go to a movie theater again.
@@simongilmore5618 Not really, because it only involves one character from that film and it briefly goes over what happened. If you skip it, you shouldn’t be lost.
