Greatest stats padder in NFL history. Every time he gets in the red zone, forget about running the ball. You might get one run up the middle with no chance to go much anywhere and then it's all Rodgers passing trying to pad his TD total. And the rest of the field is all back shoulder or slants, or screens, or short passes to a RB, all of which are super safe passes.
Sickening to Watch as a Lifelong Jets Fan....I Watched EVERY Single Snap of His Career as a Jet and i Dont Care What His "Stats" Say...He Stinks...Situational Football Always Been His Kryptonite
@EasyGoer-e3z And as a Jets fan myself, I haven't watched a single one live since he's been here. I'll watch a replay of a game or two later once in a while, but I don't need to. I have followed his entire career prior to the Jets and that has been all he has ever done. Pad his stats with super safe passes and short TD's most of the time, leading to great TD to INT ratios which lead to regular season MVP's, which are only based on stats. Once he gets into the playoffs (and he's no longer playing pastys from the NFC North before Detroit was any good, the atrocious Bears, and the Viking mixing in a decent year here or there, but mostly horrible the rest of the time), he would then get rolled over every time. The one year they won't it all it was the defense that won it for them with Clay Matthews and HoF Charles Woodson leading the way. He has ALWAYS been a stats padder and nothing more. When it's time to win the ones that count, he has ALWAYS been useless. The difference now is that including his last year in GB, when he lost his athleticism, he has been just as useless during the regular season when Detroit and the Vikings finally became good teams with good coaches, which are the types of teams he has never been able to beat.
Green Bay is so young. Avg age is 25 y.o. They can get 1 playoff win. If they get 2 wins they exceed expectations if they reach the NFC championship game in my opinion
No NFL Head Coaching job is "great" when your QB is making $60M a year. That wrecks your salary cap The Chargers job is good, but with Herbert making all the money, they are gonna have a hard time getting big-time WRs there, to play for $8M. They need playmakers, and they don't have a lot of cap space.
If I'm Vrabel, I can only take the Bears job if I have a stud OC lined up. They need someone who can raise Caleb right, and I don't see a plan for their offense. And going to a division with the Lions, Vikings and Pack is not exactly appealing. You're probably drawing dead, anyway. And the Jets job is an ongoing nightmare. Jags: there's nothing there. He should site this year out, too.
In the long term he’s not a great leader of men. When one of the great NFL teams gives up on you it says a lot. Talent wise Rodgers is second to none at the QB position. All that talent and only one ring. But his mental makeup isn’t someone I would want leading my team. He doesn’t have a relationship with his family, never married and no kids. He’s a walking 🚩🚩🚩🚩.
I agree that he should have more rings but the personal stuff is too much. I judge sports from a performance perspective not personal. This whole conversation is getting off topic. Let's talk football and keep it there.
@ Personal stuff does matter. There is a reason these questions are asked at the Combine. I don’t want my QB to be a loner. Showing up late in the offseason…
@@shayn4697 The personal stuff definitely matters because his defiance of his own family has been mirrored by his defiance of his own coaches, teammates, media, etc. Not that long ago, he tried to force the Packers to fire Brian Gutekunst, who has quietly built the best young team in football. Had Rodgers got his way, he wouldve sunk the Packers. So he sunk the jets instead.
Rams don’t need a LT as long as they resign Alaric Jackson, maybe take a backup LT in the 3rd round, they need a shutdown corner either East Carolina Revel or ND Morrison I wouldn’t touch any other CB in the first round but if WR Ebuka is available the Rams have to take him, the one weakness on offense is lack of a explosive down field WR, Puka and Kupp are possession WRs😎
For someone who's memory is as faulty as it is, Middlingkauf sure relies on it a LOT. The Rams lone loss down the stretch last year was to a streaking Ravens team in OT, not the Giants. He's gotta lay off the sauce.
McVay is a genius. When playing a clearly inferior team in the Jets, he couldn't have called a more conservative game. OMG, only 19 pass attempts? I mean, come on! With Matthew Stafford in charge, you call that few passes? This was the minimum amount of offense for them to win the game against an inferior team. They did find time ot give Higbee a celebratory TD, though, and Stafford was right on the mark as usual. I loved the 5 yard dive !!! BTW - Stafford needs about 500 yards to get 60,000 yards career.
You are clueless. Rams were running all over the jets on a frigid day and you want Stafford chucking it all over the field. So he can get closer to 60,000. Did you see Stafford’s pick? It was a terrible throw. They did not need him throwing it 30 times today in that weather. It’s unbelievable. Even when he wins, people whine.
@@travb705 Sorry if you misunderstood what I was saying. My point was that McVay knows how to win a game with minimum effort when the opportunity arises. As for Stafford, he'll get his 60,000 yards soon enough. He's a team player.
These guys skim box scores and soeak with authority. “After how penix played today theres no question” he actually played terribly and was luckily playing the worst team and had his defense score for him
Hmmm. So Aaron Rodgers has a good chance to be the first Jets QB to throw for 4,000 yards in a season in almost 50 years. (last was Namath in 67) and actually break the all-time Jets record (4,007). Has 3,511 with 2 games left. He is the first to have over 10 TD's in a season since 2019. Currently 7th in the league with 24 and should be the first with 26 since 2015, outside chance to have 30, with just 8 Int's. This while the Jets lead the league in dropped TD passes. but he's a "washed up has been" according to Colon Cowface. sure.

Yeah until Rodgers is audibling out of all of Shanahan's plays and theyre fighting on the sideline. Not to mention, 49ers are the one team Rodgers said he would never play for anyways so its not gonna happen.

@vladimirjackson1272 I know it to be an absolute fact. Love played that first game on one leg and still beat them so i dont want to hear your injury excuses.
It's not Karen Roger fault!
It's the media, the fans, and his teammates fault that the Jets have worst record than last year.

The Packers never surrounded me with talent- Karen Rodgers….update Packers have two winning seasons & 1 playoff win already since he left 😂
