Daddy's Girl.....the best part of the video was telling your Dad to say "Hi". I loved it.....I remember building things with my Daddy....God Bless❤❤❤😂😂😂
I'm starting a new business and I'm about 85k into it. I'm at the very last stages of getting it running. Every penny saved helps. I can't thank you enough for this simple well thought out design and sharing it!!! When my biz takes off I am sending you a big gift basket!!!
I just finished building my handwashing sink based on your model - I would like to mention you and add your video as a link to where I discovered how to build this - Thank-you for all your help!
Bless you for creating this sink! Every sink on the planet should have one temperature: hot. Washing hands with hot water and soap is the first line of defense against 'Rona.
This is the coolest thing EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for this!!! I absolutely LOVE it and we're going to do it for our cabin in the mountains!
INGENIOUS!!! I have totally been looking for something like this for my new upstart catering business .. you should really sell these online. How did you split the hot and cold water lines from the pump and the heater? Thanks for sharing!
The purchased a Y splitter from Home Depot. So the out water line from the pump had about 3 inches tubing > the Y splitter > 2 lines - one going directly to the cold line faucet and the other going to the hot water heater intake line.
Omg I am looking into these sinks and they are stupid expensive. I need two of them!. I'm trying to find a step by step tutorial to try to make my own! If you have any suggestions please share.
Yes, this is possible. You would need to buy an electic water heater. You will also need to figure out how to power it. Most of the ones I saw didn't use 12V, so you will have to think that through. I didn't want to need an outlet and most of our events are outside anyway. Good luck! :)
Would you be willing to list out all parts under your sink? I saw mention of the Y splitter in the comments, but am not familiar with that so I really need EVERYTHING listed! Thanks in advance!
Onika King Yes, we chose propane because we are usually outside selling Italian Ice. You can build this with an electric water heater and bypass the need for a battery. Let me know if you have more questions.
@@monique1383 👍🏾im building an Italian ice school bus! Theres none in my area South Mississippi. Thanks for helping me solve my water problem on my bus
It absolutely would. We passed inspection. We didn't need a 3 compartment sink because we just sell Italian Ice and we have a commissary to clean out ice scoopers. But you would easily make this with three sinks as well. I wouldn't use salad bowls it you need the 3 compartment sink, small steam pans will get the job done. You may need a bigger cabinet, which you can get from Home Depot or Lowes.
Propane bottles that have been previously filled can be dangerous in enclosed areas. Even empty, they still contain flammable vapor that can ignite via a spark. Not a good idea to have them inside, especially inside a cabinet that contains a battery. They spark every time the switch is thrown, and if the propane bottle or line springs a leak... someone will make the evening news headline. IDK if the health department will do anything, but the fire marshal will.
DTCigarFather Hi, you will need to buy a drill bit from a hardware store. I took the drain with me to find the one that would fit the drain. Be sure to get one that can drill through the metel bowl.
Monique1383 - How is the heat on this under the cabinet? Does it kick out considerable amounts of heat inside the cabinet? Has that caused any issues for you at all? Thx!
I started listing out the part in the description. It is a work in progress. But hopefully is helps. Everything can be customized to what you want. For example, you can use a smaller cabinet and smaller jugs or go for a bigger cabinet. If you have questions feel free to ask.
Morning - I'm building your sink for my mobile BBQ business - How did you connect the propane tank to the hot water heater .. the hose that came with it, won't connect .. any help would be greatly appreciated .. Thanks!
Toney's BBQ Hi, you need a propane adapter. I got mine from amazon for about $8. www.amazon.com/Adapter-Propane-Converter-Universal-Disposable/dp/B074CMTHSZ/ref=mp_s_a_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1525031639&sr=8-6&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=propane+adapter+1lb+to+20lb&dpPl=1&dpID=41EzPsexqfL&ref=plSrch
Thanks!!! I just ordered the adapter .. going to connect it when it arrives .. I'm going to "assume", I'll need two, one for both ends? The propane canister and one for the hot water heater?
Toney's BBQ You should only need one adapter. This will connect to the hose from hot water heater directly to the small propane. The hose on the heater is made for the 20lb propane tank. This adapter will fit the small propane and the 20lb hose. I hope that makes sense.
Hello, I’m building this sink as well. What is the switch connected to... the water heater, or the battery? And are you still using the d batteries needed for the water heater or is that bypassed/rewired??
The Sugared Belle Sorry for the delayed response. The batteries are still in the hot water heater. The switch is to power the water pump. So you connect one end of the switch to the batteries and the other to the pump.

Yeah thank you so much for this. I wish I could make something similar but living in Sweden Im not sure where to find all the parts (if not online) yet.

DID YOU POST A VIDEO?
Can you build me one, I’ll buy it from you!
What an awesome job you and your Dad did!! I'm very impressed with the outside the box thinking on the build!!

Wow!!!! This is better than most of the products out there!
I just want to say Thank you for this video and I saved more then you did lol. I have had my sink for almost 2 years now.
Very creative, great job. Thanks for sharing your video.
Very clever! Thank You for the concise instructions on how to accomplish this.
Creativity at its finest.

I also think you did an excellent job. Well done!!
Can you build me one. I'm working on my mancave and don't want to run plumbing. This is genius. Let me know. You make it look so easy lol.
Dude. If you build one for indoors, use a 110 volt water heater or you could die from carbon monoxide poisoning.
Thank you so much! You guys did a really awesome job. Temporary sanitary station. Thanks for sharing.
This is pretty great. The portable sinks I've seen online start around $3K.
You did an awesome job. This gives me a ton more ideas on what I can do and where to do it. Not sure I have all the knowledge but gives me hope hehe.

This is such a great idea! Do you think you want turn a regular sink vanity into a portable one?

Did you find anything? I need one to go with my sons lemonade stand.
You guys did an amazing job!!.....Great minds can come up with some pretty cool DIYs💙😍
I wish I could build it myself 🙏 good job 👍
Great sink about to start watching the video
Wow. I'm so impressed.
Great job did you video tape putting it together I need step by step help.
This is so dope, Very Nice Job
Excellent job indeed!!!
Do you think it’s possible to buy a built sink and convert it to a portable sink?
Hello. What hoses did you have running from your pump? And to where? Building this unit and can’t get that part to make sense.
IS THERE A WAY TO ELIMINATE THE PROPANE AND MAKE IT ELECTRIC. I WILL BE IN A CLOSED SPACE AND IM AFRAID OF FUMES AND POTENTIAL FIRE HAZARDS ETC

That is just so cool 😎. Most portable camping 🏕 sinks are overpriced and look 👀 ugly, but this one you guys built looks really nice
Killed it!
Nice work.
You both rock!!!👍👍 great job!!!
Wow that’s amazing I don’t think I would built it lol
You guys did sooooo awesome girL ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you!

Great video thanks. Is it possible to set this up with a pump alone...one that plugs in? Do you have any info on the pump on its own?

Hey Could I Do This With A Shampoo Bowl Off OfAmazon?
Love it! What PSI is the water pump?
Great Job!!! but would this be acceptable for if your in the food concession business.

Great work
this is amazing!
Great job could i suggest a gauge on top work surface,to indicate that water full, accidents will happen over flow at work
Thanks for the advice John!
with the water heater using propane power... is that safe to be used indoors? or is this outdoors only ?

Good job. !! Can you send me a list and prices ?
Are you located in Atlanta? I need one asap
I know this video is old but would you be able to give a step by step?
Hi, what if I already have a pump and everything is set up. I just need a water heater, can I buy this without the pump?
You can buy the heater without the pump.
@@monique1383 I have the propane hot water heater, but no pump. What type of pump would I get to go with it?
@@angieatvl2805 You will need a 12V Water Pump and Strainer.
Before I make a complete mess of things - how did you cut the hole in the bottom of the sink bowl and make it water tight for the drain? Thanks!

So very smart
You should make more of these and sell them on ebay and amazon.
Awesome
Good evening. Did you make this for a preschool?
Nice job god bless
What kind of pump is it please ?
This is awesome.
How did you connect the battery?
what is the voltage and amps on the battery? This is awesome! Thank you for posting!
It was 12 V battery from Walmart. EverStart Lawn and Garden Battery, Group Size U1-7

Can you build one for me- and I will buy it from you plus shipping cost?
Your dad put it all together don't front.
Can i put the water heater in a cart?
There’s no way to use this without propane right? This would of been perfect
They have electric water heating as well.
@@monique1383 yea I’m looking into it but they look like more for houses that have a continuous water flow, I just have a water jug.
Monique1383 - How is the heat on this under the cabinet? Does it kick out considerable amounts of heat inside the cabinet? Has that caused any issues for you at all? Thx!
It hasn't, the heater is outside of the sink and it only comes on when hot water is used.
this is great... could I have the parts list too?
