Aria lays down when you tell Rouge to sit…classic!! I bring my little Carin Terrier to a big dog park and always get a laugh as my little dog chases all the big dogs around! He’s a bluffer!!
It must be in the air. I raised $550 in a $1,800 pot in 2/5 and the villain folded with only $135 left. Some idiot put him down though and it erupted into a shouting match. I watch silently. Lol
I have to call with the 7 high flush, no way I fold. So many options that he could be over valuing since he was the aggressor pre-flop. And flush over flush odds are low. Even though that did happen, it is really rare in a 3 bet pot 😂
SUPER crazy fold by the guy that didn't want to call off the additional $400. I bet you were seriously like WTF??!! Musta had absolutely nothing, but figured he'd try and bluff you like you mentioned he did in a previous session. Another good video Lex! Thanks man!
lex it feels like forever that u didnt post, thats how much i look forward to ur vlogs. im liking n commenting every vid from here on out. lex o to 100k!
I love that if he never showed the bluff then it's an easy fold. Don't show your hands for free particularly bluffs unless you're seen as a nit. It's not very hard
There are some spots where you show (either the nuts or the bluff), depending on your image. Almost like a jab in boxing, until the big one comes. If the timing is right....."BOOM goes the cannon", (Prodigy voice)
Youre teaching us a lot, Lex. Thank you for your input and insight on the hands. And yeah i wouldve called the 7 high flash immediatly. Just too strong of a hand.
Villain doesn't have to have a flush on that board to raise the turn. He can also have a strong hand that doesn't want to see another heart like a set or two pair. I would call the river bet.
Great video! Every time I listen to your analysis it inspires me to play more aggressive. I don’t like coffee, but I am an old man, so the OMC runs deep within me. I need to mix it up more and 3 bet with confidence!
Hi Lex, appreciate your solid content, love your dog, and really miss the live action @ the Hard Rock Hollywood. (Still stuck in Canada after 2+ years...) I'm a 1-3 older rec player who normally goes south in winter to spend 6 months in poker friendly environments where I don't need a snow shovel. You've been an inspiration, as has Mariano, who just 3 short years ago (kind of like you) began playing live, low stakes holdem and hitting it out of the park. A couple of requests, if possible: can you add a time stamp in right hand upper corner of screen, and add cards on left, to indicate how many players in hand, including approximate stack sizes? I know you already do a ton of work on these videos to get them posted, and your dedication and work ethic is so much appreciated, so I'm asking a lot eh? Anyway, cheers to you bro: keep swinging!
Hey Lex, thanks for another great video. Quick question: What are you doing these days to improve your game? Are you reading any strategy/theory books? Studying anyone elses play? Taking coaching from a seasoned poker vet? Thanks!
Love all of the videos. Wife and I are considering southern Florida so obsessed with the games there. Two thoughts from watching most of your videos. Are you utilizing combinatorics in your hand reading? Maybe you are and are just simplifying your process a bit for entertainment value. I've seen a bunch of your hands where I would have been utilizing that step on the decision tree before moving on to other factors and it's an easy step. And, most importantly, from a dog owner veteran, when you give a command to your dog don't say it more than once or they'll learn it's optional. Say "sit" and then make them sit 100% of the time. Boom. Them dogs are smart! Thanks for the videos and I'll see you in FL soon.
Hi Lex. This is a tough. Its a 3 bet pot, but he is the original raiser who just called the 3 bet. So he is going to have a lot of suited hands like KQs, JTs etc (whereas you are weighted more towards AA, AK). On occasion he may be value betting a worse hand like 45h, but I think that might just fold pre. Is the rivered king relevant? If he was bluffing with KhQc for example that just turned some showdown value, altho it is hard to think of a worse value hand you would be betting. If you had QQ you would probly pot control at some point. Still, he would have to be the type capable of turning a K into a bluff. Conclusion: As played his line is credible. For him to be bluffing here he would need to call the three bet out of position with an offsuit hand, call the flop c bet with said hand and then somehow make a next level read that you were on a mediocre flush or AA, and decide to make a move on you. It is more likely that he just has it, as ppl tend to do in these river spots. I would make a difficult fold.
OMGGGG! You got me Lex. Nice call. Im not too sure about the line from your opponent tho. Was he value betting or bluffing? Wow turning a baby flush into a bluff thats really getting into the twilight zone. Anyway, lets get back to bread and butter poker. He ought not be calling three bets OOP with trash hands like 53s, or even opening them for that matter. Getting flush over flushed from time to time is a real possibility. Not so much a cooler as just poor play imho.
That guy thought since he bluffed you once before that he would try again. He must've literally had 72o too, he was goin' for the big show. That board was supposed to hit EVERYTHING in his range. Bad timing. Ouch!
Your videos give me faith that things will turn around you can't always be on the wrong side of variance. I've been getting destroyed lately I feel like it will never end. Set over set 4 times in one week
I basically quit poker and intend on playing once and a while but I literally just can't win. Every session is just mind boggling to me on how bad I run, then it just makes you question everything and play bad and just goes down hill.
Love the vlogs Lex! They are inspiring! Hey could you share your technique for capturing all the hand data? I’m not a vlogger but want to efficiently get down the info for future review.
His line definitely reads like a flush, or bluff with just King of hearts in hand. Check-call flop. Check-raise turn. Bomb river. It’s hard to fold a flush, so I probably end up sigh-calling the vast majority of the time. I would try to see if I could get any info from body language or table talk.
Cheers from Tampa to your much deserved success bro! I've enjoyed the content you put out. Although I follow all the OG poker vlogs, From DNEGS to Johnny Vibes, but playing in some of the same places you play and film, it brings a bit more personal connection I guess, plus you play good poker. I look forward to seeing future content!
The flush hand it’s a 3 bet pot and you have a flush. But a ton of combos you lose two maybe 4-5. Kinda I’d a shrug call it off spot. Polarized bet size means lots more bluff combos than flushes.
Most of the time you make a flush you win. I would call this bet. As a side note, I can only count a handful of times that I’ve lost a flush when I have had a face card as my top card in a flush. Maybe only twice in 20 years? Obviously this is not you case, but remember sometimes you win hand sometimes you lose. It’s alright!
Great week Lex well played. Gotta say tho am a bit sad you didn't just show the Monday night bluff monster the King! That surely would've tilted him up good an proper 😆😆😆
With the 7 high flush, I would probably call in that spot, the river king doesn't change much, if you thought you had him beat before the king my gut would say call!
That’s not really how brick streets work. Just because the king didn’t matter doenst mean the play should be same as on the turn. For example, if you flopped a 7 high flush on the flop, you bet and get called, the turn is a brick, you bet, get raised, you call, and a brick river, villian shoves-- Here even tho the turn and the river literally change nothing about the hand ranking, the play and aggression of betting or calling 3 street and over beting the pot on river shows strength. You’d have much harder time calling with your 7 high flush on the river than on the flop even if literally nothing about your hand rank has changed.
You sounded a bit conflicted in the beginning of the video. Are the opportunities you're creating from this platform +-ev over playing a full time schedule?

Great job once again.
What's up lex
Surprised by a few hands you’re usually pretty tight
Aria lays down when you tell Rouge to sit…classic!! I bring my little Carin Terrier to a big dog park and always get a laugh as my little dog chases all the big dogs around! He’s a bluffer!!
Love seeing Rogue with Aria 😍
The bluffer folding for the extra 400 was hilarious. You have his number Lex.
Great session!

as a fellow dog lover, i demand a day off vlog with just you and the pup!
Lex I love your consistent effort, your realness and the quality of your videos. You do a great job speaking
Been watching since vlog 1. Keep up the grind. I enjoy it immensely.
Great vlog, Lex - he punted huge on that fold! Great moves on timing of your raises too - you've taught me well, and I thank you!
SUPER crazy fold by the guy that didn't want to call off the additional $400. I bet you were seriously like WTF??!! Musta had absolutely nothing, but figured he'd try and bluff you like you mentioned he did in a previous session. Another good video Lex! Thanks man!

Hey Rogue 👋🏼 good to see you again!
Can we just admire how perfect the commentary is for the 5-bet AA hand?
7 years ago at 1/3 table, I check-raised all-in on the river, oponent only need to call $2 more for a $800+ pot, he asked for a count and folded...
I love that if he never showed the bluff then it's an easy fold. Don't show your hands for free particularly bluffs unless you're seen as a nit. It's not very hard

Especially if it's the same dude 2 weeks later.

@@KenDavis-uo8kq your reference from Family Guy is much better anyway. Nobody cares about Mobb Deep. He sucks.

Session recap was well done, more of that when warranted please. Thanks for sharing
The session recap was great. Keep ‘em coming.
Youre teaching us a lot, Lex. Thank you for your input and insight on the hands.

Great video Lex!! Great call with the 76

Thanks for recap. Next vlog coming out let us know your Vegas WSOP schedule
Rogue is taking over these vlogs 😉😘
Love this vlog. Please never stop.

Enjoying the videos Lex. Thanks.

I'm proud of those calls
Perspective: I mostly enjoy your thought processes in easy or hard spots. If your video skills hold, you're good.
On that flush over flush hand did you get those 5 white chips that seat one had in his hand when he went all in ?
Woop Woop! Let’s goooo Lex Oooooo!

You are a donk most likely
I basically quit poker and intend on playing once and a while but I literally just can't win. Every session is just mind boggling to me on how bad I run, then it just makes you question everything and play bad and just goes down hill.
Only way I fold that flush if I know the player is super nit and just wouldn’t shove with anything but the nuts there
I've seen someone fold for 2 more dollars after betting 200. They knew they were drawing dead so didn't want to lose the other 2 dollars.
Awesome run and great decision making. You're game is always getting better bro
Call with the 6,7 hearts hand!!
I’m calling w that 7 high flush all day. Didn’t see what happened yet.
Insane results lol
Liking the Rouge 🎬
This was fun to watch
Your poker play is great and all but your dog is gorgeous!!!
Like the inclusion and logic of folds. Much more realistic than all winning hands.
Aww. Rogue and Aria are besties! :)
Really enjoying the videos
Villain can have a hand like 54hh there, where he flopped the flush draw and gutter. Tough call, but I'd hold my breath and flick it in.
Heyyy! I was pretty close! Look at that!
Are tu-tone subs back in style?!?
Congrats …..that was a good cooler for you sir…..keep assimilating the chips Yes sir!!!
Thanks Lex for another great video. Greetings from Germany 🖖

Good stuff as always lex!!
@Lex O Poker - When you say last week down 10k and this week up 14k, do you mean that you made 24k in a week? Or you are net 4k in the black?
Great content. Nice job putting eveything together.
Amaze love the content
Ez call with 76

7 high flush… I’m calling. All in.
I think the 7 high flush is a call vs the 3bet range he could have so many Ace X with the king or queen of hearts.
You are lucky man! My luck seems to run away every time there’s a big pot to win.
At 12:58 he looks at his cards again before he checks. This usually tells you he's suited. I would have put him on KQ or KJ of hearts.
Great job.
I think i would call with the flush just cause idk how to fold a flush
Never folding a flush there. He’s repping K or Q hi flush which makes no sense given preflop. Good call. Nice hand.
Great week Lex well played. Gotta say tho am a bit sad you didn't just show the Monday night bluff monster the King! That surely would've tilted him up good an proper 😆😆😆
let's go hermano
the man sounded like a gremlin when he seen that 7 high flush
I would have called too, and your dog listens outside as good as mine...NOT !!! 😂❤️
Lex, haven't seen you play for a while. you at WSOP or taking a break?
Mike sexton said its better to win a little then lose alot .RIP mike wpt lives forever!

I would call with a flush.
Good one😁

Thats one way to over play Queens!! Nice vlog man, keep it up!!!!
would always call with the 7 high flush
