The one glaring omission from this list is Food Fight. It is another arcade port by GCC, who created the arcade version. In many 7800 players' opinions, this is one of the top games produced for it.

The 2023 homebrew release of Mario Bros absolutely makes the original release look like a 2600 version. Get the homebrew version and enjoy faithful arcade action on your 7800. You’re welcome 🎉

Only recently just got into the 7800 (and Atari in general). Got 6 games right now: Pole Position II, Galaga, F18 Hornet, and the recent re-releases of Food Fight, Fatal Run, and Ninja Golf.
You don't need a two button controller to play Xevious. Toggle the difficulty settings, and you can fire both weapons simultaneously just by holding down one button.
I got the retron 77 last year and have slowly been adding games to the collection. I haven't played any 7800 games so this was cool to watch and see the graphic differences!
@RadBashGaming back in the day, I had about 33 of them. Now I have about 15, after beginning the collection again. Xenophobe is a great deal of fun. That and Dig Dug were my faves. I never liked Pole Position II though. I felt it was boring as all get-out.

@RadBashGaming yeah, Pole Position II was the pack-in game with 7800. Can’t swing a dead cat without hitting PP2. 😁🐕 But I’m not a “full set“ kinda guy, but since it’s a small collection… why not? Yeah, most are fairly cheap, but there’s a few that are $100+, line Activision’s Commando. It’s better than the 2600 port, of course, but it still sucks to me. 😎😂 I’ll get that one last.
If you can find it, give Donkey Kong PK a go. It's an enhanced version of Donkey Kong with POKEY sound and challenge closer to the arcade original. It gives the NES and Colecovision ports a run for their money. I still hope that DKJr gets the same treatment at some point.
I find DK on 7800 to be decent graphically, sound is lacking, of course, but DK Jr I feel is terrible by comparison to the Colecovision. I’ll have a look for DK PK. Thanks!
This would be the only Atari system I’d play, Choplifter is a favorite series for me! Xenophobe is better on the Lynx but that’s me, pretty solid list of games my friend….nice vid 😎

@simongs99 Commando is an Activision game (now owned by Microsoft) so I wouldn’t count on that one anytime soon. But Atari is releasing new 7800 games, so that’s promising.
Basically. The new 7800+ does the exact same thing as the 2600+… except the 7800+ can use its own wireless controller. Is a re-shelled 2600+ with Bluetooth.
