Special Thanks to Those That Inspire
The style of this video is similar to @I Like To Make Stuff (I like to Make Stuff) and @Steve Ramsey - Woodworking for Mere Mortals (Woodworking for Mere Mortals) in parts. A large influence on this series has come from content creators in the makerspace like @Matthias Wandel (Matthias Wandel) and @jimmydiresta (Jimmy Diresta).
And for the influence on just getting out there and making cool things... a special thanks to those that inspire our creativity like @Mark Rober (Mark Rober) and @Adam Savage's Tested (Adam Savage).

We thought about running some through the laser. Totally a great idea.

Nice simple project! I think I need to do some simple projects to get me back into it, because I don’t feel motivated lately!

That's great you cut-off bin is free, 'round here they still charge. Looks nice! Any concern that the mineral oil in the finish will leach out into the book paper? Maybe a wipe on poly instead?

Yeah. The free cut offs of hardwood is awesome. Nobody’s abused it yet I guess. Good point on the oil based finish. I might try some General Finishes Arm R Seal next time.
