@jmgonzales7701 Yeah, but u gonna need elite footwork and above pushing power if it's what you want your boxing base to start with. Or Trains as an in-fighter but add soviet style movements in your footwork also, if you are ambidextrous its alot easier to soviet box.
@@ilikebinquiling69420 its really hard to dash into an unpercut because its hard to generate power after going forward. Being an infighter allows for you to slip into hooks which are devistating tho lol
I’d personally like to be an outboxer with high punching volume to keep them at bay. Also it’s probably the least riskiest style for your health you know for punch drunkness etc.
Boxers that use these styles Outfighter: Andre Ward, Kiltschko, Ali, Infighter: Mike Tyson, Jack Dempsey, Marcos Maidana, Isaac Cruz Puncher: Naoya Inoue, Pacquiao, Gervonta Davis Slugger: George Foreman, Deontay Wilder
I actually use all these 4 types. It mainly depends on my opponents tho. For example if im fighting a smaller guy, ill use the Soviet style. If im fighting against a Soviet style, ill wait for an opening to counter. Basically the "slugger"
I’m new to boring, so i haven’t found my style yet. I’m pretty tall for my age, and have a pretty long wingspan, so I think an outboxing and/or puncher style would fit me best. I’m improving a lot in my boxing from only going three times and I’m kind of getting the punches right, but my footwork definitely needs more work, including stance.
I would recommend long guard style or hitman style. Hitman style is a boxing style used by Thomas Hearns, nicknamed the "Motor City Cobra" and more famously "The Hitman". Its stance has a lot of holes, but has a really mean flicker jab that has a lot of range and is really good for people with a longer wingspan like you. Long guard style is more commonly used in Muay Thai though, and is a more defensive out-boxing technique. Both are really good and I recommend looking into them! good luck.
