I have the same truck. I had similar issues with odd engine and tranny behavior but was able to correct them. It was all ECU and TCU. The default shifting pressure is set to "soft". This creates a smoother shift, but eats the clutch. Also, the shift points are set so low it fries the torque converters. 4 cyl mode warps the aluminum engine block over time. I got my truck brand new and changed everything at 2500 miles. All 8 cylinders all the time, new shift points, firm shifting pressure, added cold air intake, adjusted long term fuel trims, increased throttle boost by 2%. All my weird issues are gone and it drives like a dream. Maintained factory horsepower while getting 16city/20hwy. Problem is, so many trucks racked up many miles with these crappy default settings. These settings were done to pass fuel emission standards in cali. Many of these silverados with default settings will have premature tranny and torque converter failures. Also engine failures at 150k-200k, depending on the number of miles in 4cyl mode.
Alot of people use hptuners...their website has forums with tons of support and step by step instructions for all of the good info above...i would think you could probably find a complete tune file to firm up shifts and raise shift points. Not cheap but you don't need to spend 200 dollars for the range afm disabler amd you can use it in multiple cars(once you buy more credits)
Bro, i also have a a 2016 1500 silverado with a 6 inch pro comp lift and 35” tires. I’m having the same exact transmission problem. I got the transmission completely replaced bro and still kind of feel it
Oh ok. Yeah I have a 2016 z71 5.3 4x4. it now has 94,000 very well taken care of, regular maintenance. My first throttle body service was at 55,000. Im about to do spark plugs soon and I think I will go ahead service the throttle body again. Sorry I never heard from you earlier . Good bless you brother
The electrical starting problem is the box on top of your battery I have same year and replaced mine and it works a lot better now it’s usually jus the fuse box battery terminal

Chevy is crap. I have a 2016 and the first day i had it, the transmission failed. Get a Nissan or Toyota. American trucks are just problems.
I bet the torque converter went bad and took the transmission with it by now
