I felt the same way; those early years, growing up in our childhood home with our parents is the foundation of our lives. They were blessed to be loving, kind, siblings. Not all families are so lucky.
This is Us is probably one of the last great TV shows. There may be others that win more awards or have more fans… but this, for those lucky enough to have discovered it, was special. Thank you writers.
I agree. This is us moved me. It had a sad but beautiful ending. I love the swing scenes of everyone including adult Jack and his family. It warms my heart knowing a new generation of Pearsons coming out, and now Deja being pregnant (although she’s not Pearson by blood, you know what I mean). It’s a beautiful full circle moment. I’m going to miss this show.
This ending was perfect; it started and ended with "The Big Three." Jack and Rebecca poured their hearts into their children, who grew to be amazing people & siblings who will always have one another's backs.
Kate’s worrying about drifting are completely valid. I rarely speak to my brothers since our parents died 2 years ago. I used to see them weekly and now it’s a few times a year. Nothing bad happened between us, we just lost our anchor keeping us together
MY FAVORITE PARTS WERE WHEN BETH SAID SHE WAS ALWAYS TRYN TO BE A VERSION OF REBECCA AND IVE ALWAYS LUVD WHEN RANDELL AND BETH DID WORSE CASE SCENARIOS...BUT THIS LAST ONE WAS EPIC...LUV..LUVV...LUVV....ENJOYED THIS SHOW🙌🙏🦚
Same. Before they even mentioned it, I called it. They love each other, but we see it all the time, once the glue that holds the family together dies, it's a wrap
This show took odd and unrealistic turns. It began to push the black pride agenda rather than be fair to all races. Statics show black couples are 69% more likely to end in divorce than white couples; yet here we have a black marriage staying strong while every white couple portrayed, with the exception of Jack and Rebecca, divorced or had some kind of falling out. And of course we see Randal's rise to political fame while his siblings taking HUGE steps back. And while the writers chose to end the show with Dej becoming a doctor they fell to show Jack's rise to musical stardom. I say the writers pushed to give a positive light for black people and their families than for white people and theirs. Statics are what they are.... brutally honest and real; and, your show was a sad depressing fairytale.
I couldn't disagree more. William, who was a sweet man, thought he lost the love of his life, Laurel. Nicky lived 40 years, alone & drunk in a trailer. Randall struggled with SEVERE & debilitating anxiety. Kevin was ADHD as a kid, and battled addiction. Miguel, who was Puerto Rican, worked all the time & lost his marriage and children. Deja was not wanted by her Father and Mother. Malik was a teenage with a baby, hardly the ideal situation. In what way did Kate & Kevin take huge steps, back? Kevin is a "zillionaire". who runs a non-profit homes for Vets. Kate is traveling the world with a curriculum for the blind. Randall does become a politician, but we see next to no relationship with Annie........and too much Deja. I don't think this was a perfect family, but they loved one another & Jack & Rebecca had an amazing love story. She was incredibly strong when she lost her husband & THAT was what this show represented.......the ups and downs of life. The Pearsons loved one another, and had each each other's back.
It did take a turn and become political. That’s when so many stopped watching. The first 4 seasons the show was unbelievable. Season 5 was brutal and season 6 really there were a few episodes you can pick and love but not so much with the others. I rewatch the first 4 seasons often. Maybe they switched writers after that.
So you’re pissed that the show portrayed a Black character in a positive light? You wanted the Black character to get the least amount of character development? You wanted the show to favor the White people? And you think THE SHOW is the issue??
It touched me when Randall said that he sees Jack, Rebecca, Kevin and Kate when he pictures family.

Easily top 5 show of all time
This ending was perfect; it started and ended with "The Big Three." Jack and Rebecca poured their hearts into their children, who grew to be amazing people & siblings who will always have one another's backs.
I love how Randall and Kevin can comfortably rip on each other like this and do it so playfully and lovingly.
Realizing the actors are realizing its the last time they'll say the Big 3 chant is... totally beautiful
When Kate started the big three chant I cried because they will forever be the big three of an epic journey and show this is us 😢😁♥🍋

I love this ending 😭😭
Thanx for the unforgettable journey! THe BIG ·3!
Missed opportunity for Kevin to make a Tokyo Drift joke
They're all out there somewhere. Revival someday. 😉😉
What an epic end to an epic amazing this is us 😢😢😢😢😢😢
A scene showing that they didn't drift would have been nice. I'm sure they didn't, but I expected it anyway
Same. Before they even mentioned it, I called it. They love each other, but we see it all the time, once the glue that holds the family together dies, it's a wrap
I love Randall
Y ellos son la limonada de Jack y Rebeca.
Now Rebecca with Jack

What are you smoking
What an unhinged hateful pathetic thing to say. Seeing black couples happy bothering you shows how sick you really are. Cope, seethe, cry.
