Kevin, I have the same problem. My plantar fascilitis and foot pain greatly improved after being advised to roll a golf ball under the sole of my feet for 5 - 10 minutes twice a day for a few weeks. To my surprise, it actually worked. Give it a try, nothing to lose!
I’m 48 and a window cleaner , walk probably 25k a day and I’ve had PF for the last 2 months , and it’s hell ! I can see the pain in your face , feel your pain , keep doing the stretches and go get acupuncture on it that sometimes helps

Kevin I suffered with PF. Three years ago I bought an insert for my shoes worked wonders for me,if I feel any problems I immediately put the inserts in eases the pain straight away. Hope you get it sorted mate.❤

Hi I had that foot problem for ages then I had one session of reflexology and she told me to drink lots of water. I changed my trainers to ones with more support. Also roll a tennis ball under your foot while your relaxing. Worth a go! it worked for me.

Den. I was diagnosed just yesterday. Sometimes nothing. Then all of a sudden horrendous shooting pains. Doctor gave me gel. I’ll try the insoles and exercise

Had the plantar fasciitis. Went through the form fitted orthotics in my shoes, as well as the cortisone shots. Happened to go into a “Good Feet Store” USA. Walked on a treadmill, stood on a sensory pad and it was discovered that I was not planting my feet correctly when I walked (out of alignment). Purchased some shoes designed for my problem (not inexpensive) problem subsequently went away. It’s been over 15 years now. I still have those shoes just in case.
I had chronic Plantar fasciitis. With certain stretches and massage, you can get over it pretty quickly. Wearing flat (zero drop) shoes, which cause more of a stretch, can be a trigger. A raised heel, so your forefoot takes all the pressure, helps.

Feel your pain Kevin! I had that with my foot and it was agony. I got mine from being on holiday and not wearing shoes, was on sand all the time and had no support! Get some really good supportive shoes and use a roller on foot ie rolling pin! Helps 😊

Kevin's great so informative..I had plantar fasciitis really bad had physio no joy, next step was injection but ended up falling and broke my leg after 4months of no walking it was better..so maybe the answer is rest xx
I was working as a pastry chef when I developed PF ,so I walked on my toes on that foot for six months, then it just went away.Was an uncomfortable experience.
Ouch, I feel your pain I had that about 8years ago. Arch support insoles, physio exercises and patience, it took about a year to go. Unfortunately I broke my left foot for the second time Feb 2022 and now I have arthritis, so I can definitely sympathise 😢
I know exactly where Kevin is coming from I had plantar fasciitus for over 18 months and mine started in Tenerife the day we walked from Los cris to the other end of Costa Adeje it’s such an extremely painful thing to have and something really hard to get rid of ! I ended being referred to an Orthoptic consultant who gave me specially made insoles to insert in my shoe which eventually eliminated the problem ! Hi Rick and Kev. I had plantar fascitis and found insoles that helped a lot. They turn your foot either in or out, against the direction that's causing the pain. Hope this helps 👍

Sorry to hear you are still bothered with your foot,i can sympathise, it can be very debilitating. I tried everything , good lace up trainers,with a good arch. I took the injections which should last around six months i had three in total. A heel gel insole can also help. Hope something helps the pain
kev have you tried the gell heal for inside your training shoes in had this same problem years ago put this in only one heal my left shoe and after about 1 week it was pain free still wear it now

the insoles gave me instant relief as its as if you are walking on sand.the n.h.s. insoles are cheap and nasty hence the £27 ones

Cortisone injection will help I had that years ago never looked back
They work but only for about a month or so. Wouldn't bother.
