Ghosting can be quite dejecting at the time but in hindsight it can be a great blessing. Aside from personal circumstances, if someone does not respect you enough to return a quick message then you should be glad that person has left your life and made room for healthy relationships. As mentioned in the video, the best way to be unaffected by ghosting is to not link your self-esteem to other people's validation and only accept healthy communication styles from friends and partners. Being a people-pleaser can also make ghosting quite painful - people just have to remember that no-one person can make them happy and that happiness is a mental state which should come from within.
