49 Swiss francs is about $54 American & 3060 meters is a bit less than 2 miles
(~2 miles for ~6 1/2 minutes is ~3 1/4 MPH average... Looked faster to me)
So wonderful that this experience can be enjoyed by so many who would never otherwise have the chance!
There's the component of gravitational acceleration at some angle, so the velocity can't be constant. Also considering the curves where there's a small centripetal force may nullify net force at some moments at that time only the velocity can be constant.
@@parthvinayak3458 Thus my including ~ & "average" :)
OOO! I got pinned! Thanks!
@@echognomecal6742 that's not the way to calculate average. In this case neither velocity nor acceleration is constant(there's retardation due to braking as well) you might need calculus to find the average
@@parthvinayak3458 Really not looking to be very exact nor to be using words in their mathematical definition.
Feel free if that's what you enjoy 🙂
I rode a coaster ride in Switzerland without leaving my house. The internet is such a magical place. Thank you for sharing this experience!
I was thinking the same thing.
you do not have to leave your house, you can ride a train, plane, or cruise ship to anywhere in the world. Even climb Mt. Everest via helicopter.
Yeah, but you couldn't feel it underneath you, or feel that air rushing by you, or smell the lush landscape, let alone feel any G's. Ah,
no
The Internet has to be one of the most revolutionary inventions ever!
The whole experience of the sky lift up there alone was amazing, than you have the thrill of the coaster. Wow! Thank you!!!
Thank you for watching.
The lift ride up sure gave a whole different perspective of the ride DOWN. I'm too old, but willing in my mind.
Switzerland is such a beautiful place.
Thank you for sharing this beautiful chair lift ride up the mountain and the exciting run down. It looks like a lot of fun. ❤ from Brisbane Australia 🇦🇺
The scenery is magnificent, and I love the length of this coaster ride! Awesome work thx!
Thank you!
I believe that Switzerland is hands-down _the_ most beautiful country on the planet.
Having lived there my entire life: absolutely not.
Say no if you only watch one video
@@MonsieurBiga Then where did you write this comment from? If you have spent your whole life in Switzerland. From Nirvana?🤔
Wow, way updated from the 2 seat lifts that were there in 1963! I was 12-my mother and I visited her sister who lived in England. Went on the continent for a couple of weeks, my trip of of a lifetime. I would have loved that coaster and I'll bet my mother and aunt would have too!
Lovely!
Gorgeous scenery and an exhilarating ride down. Thanks for sharing!
This is the best way to get a new experience without having to leave your home.great Video
What a thrilling adventure to go on- such a cool experience. Thank you for sharing 😊
Thank you for watching!
Love how busy it is there, and not having to queue.
Not too violent, but that long, long track looks really expensive! Very nice job of photography! The price of 49 francs (SA dollars) is reasonable given what it took to build that!
Considering how nice a day it was, I'm surprised at how few people were riding. I'm guessing they're busier when that slope is covered in snow !
Summer in the Alps is the best-kept secret in Europe!
@@davidstewart4570 Yup ! It certainly is some Beautiful Country and a fun way to see it. Take the slow chair to the Top, enjoy a Beer & Schnitzel and coast down to the Gift Shop.
Price for 1 including lift about $33.00 usd. They also have a 1 mile (1700 meter) long zipline for around $72.00 usd with lift.
Could you do it cheaper if you don't use the ski lift? Thinking it could be nice to hike up the mountain and that could be your reward for the hike...
I like the joy-whoops one hears taking the ski-lift up.
I enjoyed the ride, Thank You for sharing
Wow! That would be so much fun. Thanks for the ride
Thanks for watching!
Nice ride! I also appreciate you not yelling "aawwww ...!!!" and "oooooooww ...!!!" at every turn like some guys do, so we can enjoy the ride with full sound on...!
I was in awe at the sight of the mountain range at the beginning I am sure its even more stunning in person.
Such a beautiful country
It felt like it was never going to end!
beautiful and great video would love to see Switzerland for myself
Don`t wonder any more Brendan. Just go and admire the scenery, the friendly Swiss, public transport running on time and clean streets - just go, but go by train !
This blew my mind. That was the craziest thing I have ever seen so I subscribed
To anyone reading this, many greetings from Switzerland 🇨🇭
10:22 This is when the fun starts !!!! ♥
10:35 actually ;)
Wahoooo Wahoooo!!!!! Now I feel the urge for a cotton candy 🎉😅
Wow, very nice! Your filming turned out very nice!
Thought we were gonna see coaster ride 😮
Finally
Would love to see this run with no brakes you were on them a lot. Stunning scenery and photography thanks.
That looks awesome! But damn, it looks like a super rough ride.
WOW, what a ride! Did you use the brakes? Very scenic, fun and FAST! Thanks for sharing the video!
awesome. they should have these all over the hillsides of Scotland. I lived for a short while near Loch Ness and the hillsides there are meant for this type of thing. I proposed the idea but the landowners up there are too busy feeling hypnotised and worrying about having their land stolen from them. Perhaps one day they will relax and allow people to enjoy themselves and be happy. It would probably do them good to. I'm sure the ride was a wonderful experience. It certainly seems to be.
'..too busy feeling hypnotised' ? What's that all about ??
@@MashLimit it's of no consequence. some are chosen to have their lives stolen from. some are not and design the responses to their gain accordingly.
Well, going through The Clearances would make people naturally jumpy of outsiders coming in and suggesting uses for the land.
@@areareare9953oh dear.
Amazing Switzerland I like this too thank you

It's really awesome but sscary one. Many thanks for sharing this wonderful video. Best regards, Nassa
Hahaha like those little woohoo's and aww what a breathtaking view ❤
That would be Heavenly to be able to Live there in a small cabin for eternity
WOWSER, what a ride!
I can’t imagine how much all that steel would cost nowadays.
OMG my head is spinning after watching this ....
hello from Bali island, menurutku ini surga dunia. wow, aku terkesima dan terpukau dengan indahnya alam di Switzerland! luar biasa, petualangan yang sangat berkesan berada di sana 🥇
that was great - thank you - I feel I've been on it now - without the bumpiness ;-)
Beautiful scenery!
Ich find die Einweisung toll ;) I think the briefing in ow to use it was great ;) 🤣🤣
Really nice shoes, too.
That's a great video. I will always cheer for you in Korea I'm looking forward to a great video. Have a nice day.
My mom and dad took a motorcycle ride through the Alps when they were in their 60s. I thought that was crazy too.
I love Switzerland beautiful country.🤩😍
Thank you for this. I was getting dizzy! I'm glad you had a brake on it. There is one in South Lake Tahoe, California for about $99.
Looks like so much fun. I'd still ride that at my age if I weren't disabled. At least I can experience this via RUclips. Not quite the same, but better than no experience at all.
That was a sensational ride just on the video. It must have been even more thrilling to be actually riding it! How long must it have taken to put all of that in place! What height were you starting at??
Actually not sure how high up it was, thanks for watching!
Thanks for the ride. You had a great day, no traffic jams or pileups downhills, lucky you - and us: the whole thing was really enoyable in front of a laptop too.
Would really like making the tour myself, but the descent seemed partially a little too steep for me, and I'd rather not be the one who destroys the joy of others using the brake.
Wish i was there breathing fresh air and drinking crystal clear water
Super coaster. But don't forget the meat factory in the same place. Super " bündner Fleisch "!!!👍👍👍🇩🇪
Awesome with beautiful scenery ❤
Awesome thank you for sharing have a good day
elevation drop? any bees or bugs? deer? weather issues? fastest time of year of track? ice? who was the 1st to ride it down? still alive?
Brilliant! I would love to go on this ride. Greetings from Canada.
The view is awesome,dudes!
That was pretty cool. Beautiful scenery. I’ll bet it would even be cool riding that coaster at night while holding a bright LED flashlight. Just saying.
True
16:06 That sign says "Leave quitter" hahaha! Love that translation. Excellent video.
„Quitter“ means „leave“ in French…. So not that funny 😊
How do they get the sleds back up the hill?
With great difficulty ?
11:59 you can see it going back up
The same way people get up there.
I would kill to have such beautiful mountains in Spain
I would prefer a quiet😂 hike in the mountains. Great trails in Switzerland
Looks like a lot of fun. Ty for the video.
Thnx for watching!
Never in a million years would I want to do any of that stuff, but it sure was fun riding along with you while you did it. Thanks for sharing.
I wasn't sure what to expect with this video, I finally figured it out, then kept waiting for the chair lift to reach the top. It seems like it was going to go on forever,
(and it certainly looked like the operators at the top couldn't have been more disinterested. Must be a pretty boring job just standing around most of the time, even in all that beautiful scenery.)
Thanks for watching!
Thank you, Merci beaucoup.
Anyone else crying out, "WEEE!" ?
This looks like a blast, how much is it to go on this? The views are beautiful.
Around $54 USD for three rides, thanks for watching :)
Awesome! Better than highways.
Love these rides
Great ride both ways…how are the cars transported back to the start point.
Just what I was thinking, no tow line
At 12:00 in the video, you see a car hanging from the lift chair. That should be a clue. 😊
That’s incredible!! ❤
Amazing zipline teleperik nice riding i with go for you till the end of your video weeewwwwww enjoying new frend here fullwatching and fullsupport frend 😊😊16:38
We spend time in CO but this was so pretty. That ride is insane, my wife would have to change her drawers, but I'd like it with a bit more braking. I'd be a bit torn between wanting to go slower for the views some, or going all out for the rush.
Wow what a ride marvelous thanks.
It was pretty exciting viewing it at 2X speed! More like a roller coaster. How to the cars get back to the top?
The cars (toboggans) are attached underneath the lift usually, or there is a mechanism to return them to the top. In this case they're attached to the bottom of the lift
They take them back on the lazy River.
They take them back on the lazy River that runs from the bottom to the top.
It also has an ausenswezer to slow the flow
They get Strong Hans to chuck 'em back up to the tippy bit
nice! is there some type of speed limiter on the sled aside from a manual brake?
Just the manual brake, thanks for watching :)
The higher the lift went, the more I questioned your decision making process. 🤣
Haha :)
That looks so much fun.
Awesome...the feeling is there...
That looks beautiful
the lower to the ground one is the more 'the go-kart effect' is magnified. that is why folks in small cars ar plugging up the road because they 'think' they are going fast but alas, only noisy pipes and no speed...
Interesting...i asked myself, how they get back up, but looking at the lift, they have small hooks in the back and the cars have these steel cable hoops at the front.
Smart! Why not use the lift you have in place anyway?
Such a nice change to see one of these without people dawdling along infront spoiling the thrill of the ride.
Could do this all day lol 🎢thanks for sharing
Thank you for watching!
There's one of those at a ski / water park near where I live. The thing that gets me about the one you are showing is just how fast it is. You definitely wouldn't get theses kinds of speeds in it.
" FASTER!!...or not..."...hahahahaha Brilliant....
There should be somebody at the bottom of the mountain, to help them out of the cars.
Gorgeous view but I bet it was fun too
So I’ve never ridden an alpine coaster before. So how does it work? Do you HAVE to use your brakes on your way down at any point? Or is it designed to go at full speed capacity? I know you have to break at the end when you get to the finish line. But I’ve always been curious haha. This looks so amazing to experience.
Loved it!
But a suggestion. Make a seperate video of the car riding backbup the mountain. Get premission to mount a camera. I don't think they would allow a passenger to ride up.
That was awesome, thanks.
