Park is so good with Shaun. He always has his back and I love how he never holds grudges. Even when Shaun had a meltdown when his son was having an asthma attack, Park found out what was troubling him and fixed it

I can also sense a catalytic chemistry between Park and Shaun when I watched Doctor Mike review the series premiere when he found out that the kid who was struck by shards of glass when the sign shattered at the airport. He noticed that the amplitude of the QRS waves dipped every few heartbeats on the EKG monitor, and Shaun tried to have the doctors give the boy an echo only to be forcibly removed by hospital security.

3 : to take or make use of without authority or right
Now to my point. He is actor. Playing a role. Playing it very well, I might add.
So how, or why, would he be “taking exclusive possession of” or “taking or making use of without authority or right”?
Being in a minority group and having a neurological condition, I feel confident saying that *anyone* should be able to play *any* role, as long as their performance is respectful and believable, as opposed to mocking.

@@SoManyColours Not in this kind of situation, they aren't. A surgeon in the middle of a surgery doesn't have the luxury of "learning to deal with the struggles they have" while there's an open body on the table. And they would sure as hell be thrown out of that hospital and most likely have their medical license permanently revoked if they not only left the surgery center mid-procedure, but also tore off their surgical mask and started yelling over a patient with an open surgical wound. All of the gear they wear and the extremely thorough scrubdowns that they do in preparation for a surgery? That isn't just for shits and giggles or because they like the aesthetic. Contaminating the surgery center - which is exactly what he did, and egregiously so at that - could quite literally lead to a life-threatening infection, and is a prime example of medical malpractice in action.

2:15 Freddie Highmore's acting really moves me here. You can really feel the emotion of him wanting to cry, not because he will lose the surgery but because if he does it, he might fail because it is too complex for him and the patient will die. Then, when he agrees he will lose his case, he calms down a little bit because he agrees he won't be able to do it himself. Finally, when Dr. Lim asks him if he can guide them through it, he says yes, in a tone that implies he would be more than happy to do it.
