We love Batista’s! Always enjoyed everything we ordered. We celebrated my daughter’s birthday there with family & friends & had a great time. A little tip, add a shot of Bailey’s to your cappuccino!
We had our wedding dinner at Battista’s 29 years ago. There was no neon glitz outside. It really was a hole in the wall. Other than that, apparently not much has really changed except there were no menus on the tables. You had to order off the wooden menus up on the walls. They had a little old Italian man strolling with his violin. I had Veal Marsala as well and it was great. The staff had a great time with us as well.
Hey Paul and Amy! It's Chuck & Tina. It was so much fun and a pleasure to meet you both at Rampart Casino. Looking forward to your video and review at Rampart!
@@bestfoodreviewroadtrip7612 I tried to post the photo (proof we met you, and weren't just hallucinating!) Looking forward to watching your future videos, and go back and watch the one before we started watching your channel on food reviews in Las Vegas.
Ok, who drives them home after these all you can drink places for dinner.? I would volunteer but I don't live in Las Vegas. :) I'd also love to see some ribs and beef places. Take care!
We LOVE Battista’s! The two of us share only one carafe of wine and thoroughly enjoy the food and the atmosphere. How much did you end up drinking? Did you drive home afterward?
Actually, it's about 1/2 block from Las Vegas Blvd. White wine goes better with some dishes. Tried to get into this place several times. At the time they had so many people dining there. Looks like you have some good wine choices. White wine goes with certain dishes just like red wine does too. Battista's Hole in the Wall is a good restaurant if you could get in there.
So much wine our food taste amazing!! 😂😂😂 stop busting my balls 😂😂😂 and we have decided the new left overrule is next day to midnight and then fare game
When will Vegas learn about you Kids, if it's all you can drink, you kids are there !!! Wow that food looks amazing, thanks for taking us along..I was trying to take a bite of Paul's food through my tv screen !..lol.. Big Mitch.
Went thier years ago a few times . Menu used to be on the wall !! Place is rite in back of the Flamingo, a little bit seedy . Liquor store rite next to it and not inviting. Anyhow never back since tourist trap yet thier for many decades ! Food is kinda overpriced and not all that . However I would recommend going for the first time Vegas goers. The place is stuck in time ,like old world Vegas venue/restaurant.. the wine thing is good, no bar bill.. Cheers. ❤
New subscriber here liked the wine deal so you think they jacked the price of the food because you get free wine or the price is a good average for that area thanks for video I enjoyed it and The lobster did it taste fresh
Thanks so much for joining us! I thought the prices were similar to other restaurants that don't include wine The lobster was in the ravioli filling, so I can't speak to its freshness
Sangria is a fruit punch fortified with wine and most commonly associated with Spanish and Portuguese cuisine. Chianti is the most come common Italian house wine served in carafes, which is also true in Italy. Barolo would be sometimes used as house wine in more upscale Italian restaurants, but your carafe was definitely not Barolo because it is much brighter color red. Don't know what the white wine is, but Pinot Grigio is the least expensive of the few Italian whites, and it is very beginner friendly and sweeter than most other, and is usually the the Italian restaurant house white. Your description sounds like it was Pinot Grigio. Been catching up on watching your videos after discovering it just recently.
I laughed out loud about your comment about the soup and food! My Italian Uncle said the exact same thing. It tastes like it came out of a can. Even the pasta. Great Vegas memorabilia. Gordy was the best. Highly overrated restaurant. Tourist trap. $$$$
Decent but overreacted place from our experience. Kinda weird...the place was not busy...but they put all of the tables right next to each other. Annoying...haha
I have been eating here every time I visit Vegas now 42 years, have never had a bad meal. I do miss Gordy and his accordian
Accordian!?
That would have been a brilliant addition to our experience
@@bestfoodreviewroadtrip7612 Gordy was a huge fixture for over 40 years. It was so much fun. He retired in 2019. You missed a treat and a great guy
@@mikeyjl54 Gordy was the best thing about that place. You named a song he could play it. I hope he is still alive.

We thought the house white was a little too sweet. I guess we could've ordered a different bottle but preferred to stick with the house red

It's some type of salami but didn't look like Capicola, honestly
Love that they haven't changed a thing ❤️

Tuna helper?? There gonna throw your D/A out!!

A bit overpriced for the quality of food. But it is a Vegas Institution.
It's comfort food but not gourmet- given the proximity to the strip (& wine!) it's priced pretty fair
