I love fish & chips, but you are right that fish was subpar. Now that French dip looked so good. I am with Paul, not a sweet potato fry fan. Love watching you two.
Was that 3 pieces of Fish? Sweet Potato is a dessert ingredient just like Pumpkin, and has no place on a savory plate. When I was young and was working for an independent supermarket, the owner used to take out the entire crew for dinner each night after closing, but always at Denny's. All I ate for 3 years at Denny's was the French Dip Sandwich. Never had another one anywhere else since then. But the one Paul had look really really good.
Sorry, Amy. Dipping fries in au jus is not weird. Of you're ever in the L.A. area, you'll have to try The Hat! They don't have beer, but their beef dip and pastrami sandwiches are incredible!
I love coleslaw and have always been perplexed and disappointed with the tiny little cup of it. Cabbage is like 68 cents per pound even in 2024 but they will bring you a big salad that cost $4.90 per pound with toppings and not bat an eye and yes the fish had been previously frozen and thawed for too long and had gotten mushy
@@bestfoodreviewroadtrip7612 I would love to give you a recipe but I’ve been making it for so long I just eyeball everything. I make three kinds, creamy traditional, German a vinegar bass with hot mustard and another vinegar base with bacon. Thanks for the great content though

His sandwich was so good!!!

Ha! (to Amy)
The fish at NY NY casino in the fish market is really good. Have you been to Blueberry Hill diner yet?
Not yet!
We also liked the fish at 9 Fine Irishmen! It was too dark to film in there however
I would have picked the fish n chips too. lol The bread on the dip isnt all too bready either.
We really wanted the fish to be... better.

What a great memory
When you find something you like, sometimes it's just nice to order it over and over ❤️

No beer??? Criminal 😆
Thanks for the recommendation!
The sandwich looked great! The fish, not so much.
Gordon Ramsay’s fish and chips is on my list for the next trip!
We've been wanting to try that too
We limit our meals in the strip because it starts to get expensive living here 😆
Don't bother, it's not that good. Try The Codfather. Please note, they are remodeling right now so are closed, but will reopen soon.
Cant beat the free beer and the ash tray. lol
As a Keto/carnivore dieter I will share a secret. OLD GERMAN beer from Milwaukee has 2.3 g carbs form12 Oz cans and there 16.99/30
We've tried that! Thank you!
Had no idea it's was carb friendly
Love your videos. Did you get the glass mugs?
Yes!!!
They look great with the Disney glassware circa 2002
😆
I love French dip sandwiches. Too bad Amy got the fish and chips and they weren't great. Otherwise the total bill was very reasonable.
Fish and chips are hit and miss. At least we had beer 😆
Do a Beer Crawl!! 🙂
Every Friday night. 😆
Since you are a couple that always shares their food. That would be considered surf and turf😮
😆 we can live with that description

We need a good recipe and try to make some at home

I'm guessing you guys used to do the same reviews amongst yourselves before you had a YT channel....
100% 😆
Probl m with a big menu much of the food is frozen and max processed
Likely.
We know better than to order fish unless it comes highly recommended
