Yes I have this quarter
hi..I have many how can I sell them or where, could you help me to sell them?
i have 1 of this coin with me in Philippines, how we connect each other.
I have money I m Namibia
Not a collector but I'm staring at one as we speak. Interested or know of a party that would be? I looked at my change jar and know I've had a few that have past thru my fingers regrettably.
It pays to look closely at your loose change. There was a penny sitting on top of one of those green change machines not long ago.
It looked like someone had hit it with a hammer. Because I always pay attention I picked it up and looked it over.
I noticed it was a 'wheat back' penny which normally wouldn't be that much more valuable than a regular Lincoln Memorial back penny, but this one had been 'double die struck'. I can't help but wonder how many hands had that penny over the course of many many years. I sold it on eBay for $178!
Looking back? I should have sent it in to be 'slabbed'! (Graded)
I have a double die bicentennial 1976 Denver mint quarter
Yea you might of got alot more

Looking at your coins as they pass through your hands can be a very rewarding hobby.
I just received, what the gas station attendant called a big quarter, a 1976 fifty cent piece 😀
i gave one to my friend, he also called it a “big quarter”

Remember: condition is the largest component of value. The quarter that sold for $3200 was graded MS-65. Still a valuable variant, but his VF-45 is only worth around $250.
Another thing to keep in mind: there are two DDO variants for this year. An FS-101 and an FS-102. The 102 is considerably less valuable and vastly more common coming in at around $15 for a VF-45.
Hi there. Do you have an excel sheet or cheat sheet written down or in email format that you could share with me please. Showing what to look for in pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, etc? Or is there a website I could go to that has all this info? Thanks for the help!

What does fs100 an 200 mean
I have 15 of them I want to sell ? So please tell me how do I sell them I put 6 of them on eBay
I have 2 binders with certificate authenticity papers for pages full of quarters like these in pages with storyline information and all quarters are in clear transparent protective cases....been up there both binders with my grandmothers name engraved... underneath her name saying "collectors edition" for 25-28, years now.
I just brought the books down...my hands are tempted to go over every page.

According to the NGC Price Guide, as of February 2024, a Washington Quarter from 1776-1976 in circulated condition is worth between $0.30 and $0.85. However, on the open market 1776-1976 D Quarters in pristine, uncirculated condition sell for as much as $6000.

Dang.. I have several of those from the Denver mint. And yes, they show the double strike. Didn't know they were that valuable... Still not selling them.
My friend has a 5 gallon bucket full of these. He’s never checked them. Only collects them.
Love your moniker 🇺🇸💕
Yes I have two of them. Now what do I do
Let me buy that bucket for 1,000
Your friend should play the lottery because he has better odds of winning the lottery than he does finding DD, 1976 Washington Quarter.
Me too!
For those that like to collect these heres a little history. The drummer boy is the first guy killed in the revolutionary war, the shot heard round the world. His name is Abner Hosmer. The reason why we have eagles on our quarters is because when his mother sent him out for the war she put an eagle pin on his uniform, it was his fathers. He was the first soldier to ever wear an eagle on his uniform. He was brought back to his parents after he was shot and killed and he was still wearing the pin. This is where the eagle came from in our history. If you want more information on it just google it. You can also read more about it on Find a grave. Hes also a decedant of FDR, and Teddy, and me.., my grandmother named one of her parakeets after Abner too..,
How old was he ? So sad to hear the story
Thanks for the info Rob its time for me to check my 1976 Quarters i stocked up on!!
Oh, you collect those quarters? Good luck, I hope you find one. Woohoo, good for you!
@@RulyaBaruchHashemMorrigan7 yes I do
That's not all, Bud. I'm American & we're all desperate for antiquities. That's anything - maybe even poor condition items 'This Mona Lisa has some cracked surface lines.' ''Go away." Hmm? ’ANYTHING’ 40-50 years old has SOME degree of antiquity to it.
My former slumlord from India didn't know such matters in the USA so he flipped when I asking him if he just threw away >130 mini cast- iron radiators? "WHY‽" Oh, no.. "WHAT, WHAT?!" Those are antiquities in this country: e, Craig's, On Your Own - minimum of $25/1 !!
That's not counting functionality - scrap weight, art: spray off/out the gunk & rust and it'll still WORK as a baseboard heater- RADIATORS, RADIATING HEAT! His shoulders sunk. It felt good to see that on his face because, as it turned out - he'd corruptly capped off the New Improved baseboard heaters so less than a half of the tenants were getting any heat.
Hello my name is Jerry took them like I was saying I have a few of those bicentennial quarters I'll take a look at tomorrow
I have nine of them
I must send this to my cousin, Carol. Thank you Rob
I found a 1945 lady liberty Quarter in France and I've been asking myself how valuable it is ever since
I hate myself.
My grandfather fixed coin counting machines his whole life.
He gave all us grandchildren uncirculated coins all the time.
I'm sure I'd be a rich man today
If I didn't piss it all away on junk.
I have a couple of these quarters. The doubling is on the E & B on the one coin. The other has it on all the letters
Yes, i hv just ONE Quarter Dollar on hand. The Eagle Logo on the other side is reverse punched.... UP& DOWN when compared to the logo on the other side of the same coin.
Had to search a few hundred of them but I have found this one just a few months ago
Did you sell it?
Time To PARTY
Haven't really thought much about it until i saw this video today, because for some reason i developed an interest in bicentennial quarters, so for years i put them a jar, now im looking at this jar almost full, thinking hmm, because i never had a plan, now i gotta lot of work to do on spare time ty.
I have large amount of them and don't have one. Must be extremely rare.
Well..
Yea...
I didn't know this. I've kept every one of these quarters I've run across since 1976. I must have a couple of hundred. I'll have to check them. Thx
😮
Damn I haven’t watched a coin video in so long. I’ve gotten so busy with life. I use to love going to banks and coin roll hunt. As a matter of fact, I use to watch a lot of your videos. I found 2 FS-101’s and the crazy thing is, they were in the same box.
That's the coin that got me started collecting 35 years ago when I was 7 and just yesterday my 1795 Draped bust dollar came in the mail I paid $3,876
Thanks for the heads up on the 1976 quarter DDO Mr.Rob
I have about 75 or so of the 1976 quarters. Everytime I find 1 in my cash drawer at work, I put it aside and when my mgr counts the drawer at night, I give her 1 of my regular quarters for the Bicentennial 1. 😊😊
That’s cool. My dad was born 1976
my dad was born in 1936
Older quarters are the simplest way explain DDO to new hobbiest in my experience. Cool video man.
I got two heavy doubled, they also look like the drummer got shot in the left eye and no one mentions it....
The left eye thing is on a few of them I've got... I've been wondering about it also
Double die doesnt mean the die had doubling, it means it was struck twice
Incorrect. The coin is struck once with a die that has been doubled during its manufacturing process.
Thanks for this! I had no idea. I have a bunch of these at home. Gonna search thru them as soon as I get there.
I have this how to sell it
its funny that it is considered valuable just because it came from a specific die. every coin is unique but that one simply lets us know which die it came from yet people think it makes it so valuable.
Thanks Rob!! And we of course can't forget the lovely 40% S-minted ones, even if they aren't quite THAT valuable. I'm definitely going to have to check all my bicentennials for this. I hang onto every one of these I can get my paws on; of course, when I was younger, they were fairly common, but around '92-93, they started to get less common.
When I was in high school (mid 90s), we had a lady in the office who handled the books but she was also someone we could go to to get change for the vending machine, and I had a deal with her where she'd hold all the bicentennials she happened across and I'd swap her money for them. Through a school year where I had that deal going, got about $25-30 worth of those from her, and still have them in an old metal tin I originally saved them in, although have put a couple of the super nice shiners into flips. >>;=)
They minted some centennial quarters with silver?
@@kayesdigginit1519 Yeppers! They made non-proof quarters, halves and Ike dollars at the San Fran mint, and those issues were 40%. Many were melted later apparently, but around 11 million of each are figured to exist. I am not sure if any were just put into regular circulation initially or if they were NIFCs only issued in those Bicentennial sets [which had 25¢, 50¢, $1]. Over the years, I have found 2 halves and a quarter in circulation. Keep an eye out there and check the mint mark anytime you find one. >>;=)
I believe they also minted them at West Point but didn’t put a mint mark on them.
I just got two bicentennials today. I found a 1955 Wheatie as well..... And unfortunately rolled it back into the roll like a big dummy☝️
doh!
I have maybe 100 wheat pennies my oldest 1909 I think I got all but the 1943 and double die 55 but I got a few I may triple probably more like 100 times plus lol😂😂
It’s crazy that people play so much value on a messed up quarter. Unbelievable!
Great lil short! I DO have this quarter 😎
Nice...I have these in mint sets. Also have a strange 50 dollar bill. Can't figure how to upload photo.
I recently got a roll of quarters, in it I found 8 older quarters, 2 are 1976, one bicentennial that's black and one 1976. Also 1966, 1970, and some other ones. No mint on some, anyway, I suddenly became interested in collecting coins, maybe they are worth some money. I'm just learning about this. 😮
I was looking through my bicentennial quarter rolls about a month and a half ago and I found one. It looks like it's about mint state 60. They're definitely still out there.
I have a list of old coins and I wanna know if any of these are rare
1:I have two 1$ coins
2:I have two no cash value coins
3:I have a parking coin
4:I have a car wash coin
5:I have three smashed Pennies when u go places and u spin that wheel(idk if they even exist anymore)
6:last but not least A CHUCKIE CHEESE COIN
Only the dollar coins are actually coins
I guess I should go look at mine!
I have a bucket full of pennies I found in my great grandfather’s basement that he was saving when he was young. They’re all dates before 1940’s so like 1933’s 1936’s 1939’s
Awesome... I'll check but I have a bunch of them but better then 90% of them are Philly
Those 1976 quarters are worth maybe $2 in circulated condition.
GREAT INFO ROB, THANKS MY MAN!
Thank you Rob been with you for years❤⚜️🙏❤️
If I find 1 in my bi-cent quarters, how would I go about trying to get it sold?
Thank you for taking time to inform us & for reading my question. Have a wonderful day!
You need to make sure it is the correct DDO by getting it graded or taking good close up pics for the site you sell it on, like eBay.
Yes!I have three of these 1776-1976 quarters, and I want to sell them as soon as possible!
What coin website was that?
pcgs.com
I found a 90% silver dime several years ago. I always check my coins and it finally paid off after 30 since the last find.
I still collect them when I see them. Getting harder to find.
Thank you, I'm going to look.
Now I gotta go look at all mine 👍
I have one that isn't DDO but what it does have is a flap of extra metal that's stuck to the face of the coin. Under the flap it isn't stamped. The top of the flap is stamped.
Also 40% silver
They made them for 2 years. 1975-76
Nice short Rob!😂🎉
Thanks! 😁
Which is more valuable? The coinage which had doubling on it, or the ones I found in circulation that were minted on silver blanks? I have two which i found in circulation and are not proof coins.
I’ll definitely check out the ones I have
I have been collecting them for years, and
Im definitely gonna check.Thank you!
In Canada, pennies have been discontinued..
It just rounded up, it's been about 10 years.
So most keep pennies if you have them.
Also no $1 or $2 bills.
That was me on the bottom when I first started my collection now I have a wide variety of coins.
Clearly... magnified to the point where you can see a pimple on a flea.
I just bought a viccetenal plate in mint shape made in 1975 with all of the months on it .
I have this kind of coin in my possession from PNB Philadelphia National Bank 1776-1976
How much is a 1987, 1993, and 2000 Liberty quarter dollar coin value? Thanks
I had so many of those in the past and spent them without realizing it.
That's almost enough to drag out my ancient coin collection and dig through the gazillions of bicentennial quarters.
Almost.
Yes Sir. God is good all the time..I have a few of them. Please do more content on the most value Quarters especially those from 1965 to 1999
I keep every single one I come across. I have more than everyone in the comments that's exaggerating about how many they have and I've searched them all thoroughly.I've never found one of these..
1976 and 1975 were both struck with the drummer on the back. So it could be on a 75 or a 76
Reading these comments I now know why I haven't seen one of these in decades.😂
Do you have to magnify it to be able to see.
Yes. It helps a lot.
I I've had one of these and I used it for laundry. For the rest of this year I'm going coin hunting. Happy hunting yall.
Imagine having "buy a quarter for over 3k" money.
Ya, but, but… I REALLY wanted that big gumball at the mall.😔
Everybody makes my coin collection I've had my whole life look like a joke.
I have a 1976 40% silver proof mint mark s bicentennial never been in circulation or even touched by oxygen exept for when it was made
I have the sliver cameo 1776 coin set with the quarter and 2 other coins in the set. And i have lots of them circulated clean too some worn love my sliver ones in my sets s mint
Awe sugar I was given some quarters some years ago I gave them away two year ago so I don't know if it was one of those or not,I will share this with my Sister in Denver Colorado 👍🤗🇬🇧
Keep all wheat pennies.
Hey there ,that’s nice about your quarter, what about a 1985 quarter
I have a bicentennial quarter which has a strikethrough on the back of the quarter. Would that be worth any money?
I BETTER CHECK AL 28- 1976-USA, QUARTERS I COLLECTED OVER THE PAST 2-YEARS, BUT HAVE NOT CHECK EM OUT, EH 🤫
I have a 1963 silver quarter mint condition..looks brand new. Think it's worth anything?
Need to look at mine closer. Have one in great shape with a filled in D. Had looked at the lettering but not with a magnifying piece🧐
Thanks Rob, for pointing this out.
Dude, I have so many quarters like I'm gonna inspect every single one of them it's crazy.
My confusion is that with every one of them being DDO them wouldn't that make the value considerably less?
I have one from denver mint that has strong doubling on reverse side.very good shape.had it saved since the 80s.should I send it to get graded?
I guess he means you can clearly see the difference 50-100x zoomed in lol, that 'B' was huge 😅
Also the sanfransico mint who strict the bicentennial quarters in 40% silver
I have 8 - 10 of these Bicentennial quarters in my collection
Thank you I have 1976 everything even the penny but soo many I just want to sell my collection . I wish I knew how to put it on Ebay it's too big now ....
Interesting all your findings. My question is what type of microscope that is good to find out all this double linings. Please help. 🙏
