Back in 1986 I was divorced from my wife of 12 years, and I decided to buy myself a motorcycle as a divorce present. Went down to my local Yamaha dealership and found a new, holdover 1983 Yamaha Maxim 750 in black. Laid down my hard-earned money on the spot and proceeded to live my single, apartment life (she kept the house). Holy cow, did the ladies ever love that bike. I can't tell you how many rides with how many women I took, but it was a lot. And a lot of fun. Eventually I remarried...and kept the bike for longer than THAT marriage lasted. Try the same test with classic bikes.
Yep, looks even better in person, my neighbor had one back in the day, and seeing them at the dealer; but the downside-rides bumpy/ground clearance(for cornering) but you get that with any bobber. Always a upside and downside. I went with a Triumph trident, i think of it like a pug dog, kinda ugly at first ,but it "grows on you" ha. -Cheers

Yes, and the wind screen, makes it pop out /in all the wrong ways. I got close to picking one of these up, until they mentioned the 1200$ dealer setup/shipping fee. Yeh surprisingly i have heard its even worse with the Harley's, looked at one but didn't get that far, to talking about the fees etc.
I like the aspect of them just being regular women who aren't really into motorcycles but I feel like if you had older women like in their 40s on there you have a completely different Outlook.
I can't count all the old guys who have stopped to chat with me about my old Triumph sidecar rig, and take pictures. But I've also had a few teen girls ask for rides. Sidecars on Triumphs make everybody smile.
I'm old enough to have had the real deals in the late 60s and early 70s, and I still ride. Ride all the time, everywhere, for everything all year around, and you will be noticed. Being a fool, like doing burnouts at stoplights, weaving in traffic, pulling wheelies, and doing 10,000 rpm in 2nd gear up your street at 6 in the morning, will get you nowhere, except losing your license and being recognized as a total idiot. Yeah, I'm 73 and a stick in the mud. I ride one of the final air-cooled Sportsters.
My wife has a Royal Enfield Classic 350 and I have an INT 650 and a Versys 650. I've been warned to never ride the INT without her either riding along with her bike or being my pillion. Not discussing this further has been a good move so far.
Any guy buying a bike to impress women are going to be very disappointed when they find out almost no women are impressed by a bike. What they are impressed with is a nice cushy back seat with something to keep them from sliding off the back unless they ride a bike themselves.
Yeah, I found out very early on in life that the target audience for that sort of encounter prefers G-wagon, Range Rover and Escalade, the typical militant drug dealer type of vehicles.
My wife rides. She isn't impressed by what someone rides. She may or may not like the bike. She doesn't like any of my bikes. She rides a Harley Softail, I do also, but mine doesn't look like it's from the 40's or 50's. That's her thing. Show her a stock 51 Panhead and her legs will quiver.

I got some of that "Dip Your Car" rubberized spray paint and did it myself. The paint peels off, so I can return it to factory at any time. The color is called Brass Monkey, and is an optional wheel color from Dodge. Anyway, since I changed the color on that bike, I get women, strangers at stop lights, telling me, "I like your bike, I really like that color." That's never happened with any other bike I've ever had. It's crazy, I can't explain it.

I've got a highly modded, always dusty, dirt oriented naked gen1 KLR with the big fat 'clear' plastic desert tank. Looks feral, like it just came out of the wilderness, because it did, i live in the woods. People who know the bike will notice the details, but the most normie comments i get most often are all about the tank, it's size, it's girth, that you can see through it lol. Trust me, if you want to get random girls to ask you questions about size, gasp, and say "Wow, that's BIG!" get the biggest desert tank there is and fill it halfway so you can see the fuel level at the widest part. I think it's strange that people are so fascinated by being able to see the fuel inside, for some people it's like showing a lighter to a caveman. They're entranced and mesmerized by the IMS tank and just start going on about it's size, and magical miraculous property of semi-transparency. They'll call others over to marvel at it. I've even got a rubber toy Stegosaurus surfing on top of my fender, nobody notices that, it's all "So you can SEE how much fuel is in there while you're RIDING?!?!?!"🤯🤯🤯

Full black very beefy fat tubed carbon frame, no suspension so it sat low to the ground, 4" wide tires front and back on wide white rims, and looking as close to a Sportster S as a bicycle can (IMO). I'd catch women (of all ages) staring at it and more than once had young women roll down their car windows to give me a "nice bike" comment. When I first got this bike I was in my mid 50's, 5'8", and 155lbs so I know it wasn't me that attracted them but rather the basic layout of that Salsa Beargrease and the Sportster S (according to Jen and Mary).
In my experience women who know nothing about bikes for some reason really seem to like UJM and other universal style bikes. Cafe racers, brat style, etc bikes like that

But on that note, the two BMW's were ugly, the Harley Road Glide was ugly, the silver thing was horrendous looking and the Ducati looked like it was trying to be something it wasn't. I'm not a fan of Harley's in general so the Sportster was MEH at best. The Kawasaki was ok looking but I'd never waste money on one. The only bike of all the picks that spoke to me was the Triumph. So you are correct, a Triumph is hard to dislike. Especially when it's classic British design. :)
Growing up with a lot of female friends, I had this kind of discussion on and off through out my life. And #1, if they are not the rider(and most are not)opinion will vary a bit on design or captivating looks, but a flashy chromed out ride will get a notice. But girls look at it in the practical side for themselves. Where am I supposed to sit and look cute/cool/bad ass? So, Harley has the masses "on board" for their poll. #2, if the girl wants to be the rider, you can bet it is not a heavy/tall bike. They envision themselves as sport bikers. And then in the grand scheme of who you will see on what the most, scooters. Honda to be precise. Trial 90's. 110's. The likes. Look at the Asian market and how many girls are running around on those. They don't see it as a sex symbol, they see it as a cheap means of transportation. 1 of my GF's already had scooter time and was interested in riding around on one when I went out for rides on my NightHawk. Unfortunately, her scooter she chose was not spirited or designed for more than inner city riding. lol All my other GF's never wanted a bike, but loved to be a passenger on the back of my bikes. Which they liked the chrome exhaust pipes. Even the 1 GF that got singed on her calf from the hot thing still liked it. lol (wear jeans girls) And I had 1 GF that was extremely spirited, more so than me, she rode a Ninja 500. But she also loved the Harley's.
Are they trying to find bikes girls won't like? Because the angles of them are aweful. You should make them walk around the bikes and say, "What do you wanna ride on?"

Then a cruiser. In all the years I rode them, no woman really wanted to go for a ride; Even when I offered a ride; Even with women that were friends. Maybe I was ugly. Maybe I was too short. Maybe I wore the wrong clothes. On the first day riding home from work on my new scooter. TWO WOMEN THAT I DIDN'T KNOW, asked for a ride. These two women weren't together. As I was riding in slow traffic at two different locations, these women came up to me and wanted a ride. It wasn't my looks. It wasn't my bank account. It wasn't my stature. IT WAS THE CUTE TWO TONE SCOOTER!

Acid Yellow RS660 gets non-stop compliments from women riders and even women in general lol I've customized it so it's hotter than a regular one but they love this bike.
The Triumph was my favorite also, they are so classy. And I'm a youngish 31 year old guy, so not yet a bearded old geezer in a parking lot. 😄 Very glad to see the girls like the Triumph too, there's hope!

Definitely the wrong colour choices nearly for all the bikes. The Z900RS either in red candy brown or in green metallic and without the fairing. The Superveloce has to be in the gorgeous red white italien suite. I would not pick the Ducati Icon with the tacky blue, rather the Nightshift or the Desert Sled or even just red. Overall bikes doesnt attract (most) woman (rather old men ;). Rather woman are attracted to men, which are relaxed and focused, because they are riding bikes.

"According to women..." I guess it comes down to demographic. It also depends if that woman is a rider or passenger. Regardless of whichever she is, if she's even remotely into bikes, I haven't met one yet that once they get on a Harley, whether as a rider or passenger, doesn't have a great time. Must have something to do with vibration! :D
I have a natural repulsivness to women so no bike is gonna work.

Definitely the wrong colour choices nearly for all the bikes. The Z900RS either in red candy brown or in green metallic and without the fairing. The Superveloce has to be in the gorgeous red white italien suite. I would not pick the Ducati Icon with the tacky blue, rather the Nightshift or the Desert Sled or even just red.
Overall bikes doesnt attract (most) woman (rather old men ;). Rather woman are attracted to men, which are relaxed and focused, because they are riding bikes.
Haaa on the first bike, first glance ah yeh that looks kinda cool - then reality sets in, ha ha "it looks small and silly". So em yeh concerning the title/ bikes that attract women...
