He's still as wonderful and unaffected by his fame as he was as a boy too. I'm in America and have only known of Aled via the few episodes he did of Escape to the Country from an obscure side channel (antenna tv) called Dabl. WoW am I impressed!!!
It's only people like Aled Jones and his devotion to peoples happiness and a pure life that make the entire population bearable. Llisten to some Aled on here people, Deep Peace, Marble Halls, that kind of thing. Dont miss them, they are free on here x
I like this version FAR better than Josh Groban's. You can hear the choir training, how Aled floats the higher notes and it sounds effortless, whereas Josh has trained to sing ballads, and he belts the higher notes. I do like Josh's version, but not as much as Aled's! I also think he looks very handsome now, but as I live in Canada/USA, I didn't grow up with him on my tv screen. My loss!
The guy presenting is Gardener turned presenter Alan Titchmarsh. Peter Auty first sang Walking in the Air for the movie The Snowman, Aled made it famous in an advert for Toys R Us and took it into the top ten of the charts..
@stad97 I am very sure. I live in a border town that had major TV channels from both sides of the Canada/USA border. I grew up in Port Huron, Michigan, USA, and now live in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada, which are literally right next to each other. The TV stations that I get are from Toronto Ontario, London Ontario, and Detroit Michigan. I'm an hour drive north of Detroit and an hour drive west of London.
Libera are based at St Philip's Church, Norbury, London, where the boys are part of the church choir, but they only become Libera in their own right when they are out on tour or are producing their own albums, please dont expect to find the "Libera" experience at Norbury. @1993Michigander: sometimes it's not like you have a choice. Sometimes they MAKE you lipsync for various reasons. But when he sings it live, it does sound the same.

I was looking up Aled Jones because of I watched SoHyang's cover of You Raise Me Up. Aled sang it very clear and crisp. I like it so much

No afraid not, Joe's voice broke a while ago, and as far as I know, he left the choir altogether.
It's creepy when you hear the child's solo voice, but no child appears!
