@@anthonybreshears6255 yeah. I was super new to percussion and it took me a bit to get the rhythm and my director wanted me to play it by hand. I love listening to this and thinking of that time!
Good luck!! I didn’t get to play this last year because of covid and because my band teacher left. Have fun playing this because I sure did have fun playing for a month.
Oh my goodness. Hello Mr. Hazo my name is Victor. I am a senior in high school from NY and I just want to take the time to let you know how much I admire your work and how obsessed I am with this song. This song makes me feel an unexplainable range of emotions but in the end, what it comes down to is the purest musical joy. I have never been more excited to play any other song the way I have been excited to play this one every day for wind ensemble. Thank you for this gift to the world.
@@pinkapple3619 wtchu mean damn, I already learned my parts (expect for the 32nd notes, those are fking insane), as first and only tenor sax in my school, most ez, (for me atleast).
@@Clutch6244 it was an impressed damn, my middle school could never lmao we also have one rly good tenor but we're nowhere near this level of playing yet
Gotta love the bassoonist enjoying his life
The tubas were perfect! Gotta love that low brass.
You guys are so underrated honestly.
Agreed...but there's always that....one guy that plays that low C with 1 and 3 instead of 4 -_-
I guess he doesn't like his intonation...
tuba at the beginning was a bit out of character and out of tune though
Can’t forget bass bone
Frrr
Always such an immense rush of satisfaction when you get something in this piece right
3:40 the consistency in those xylo rolls is crazy
That piccolo really comes out
The Piccolo is great!
@R Bodisch tag team it 🤪
4:35 is euphoric

I’m getting chills listening to this. I played this my first year in band and I was on tambourine! It was so much fun!
First year?!?!

that was awesome! only thing is i wish the trumpets were a bit louder when they had the melody
I still rewatch this cause of how good this song is bro
Damn the brass section is strong
First time seeing the hogwarts band. Gotta say they're better than expected

Percussion gang
I can hear "Seven" inside...
Picc missed a lot of parts but greatttt🎉
Lmao I'm sorry this flute's interpretation of the solo is hurting me
Lol same...it would be much better if it was a bit slower and played with more emotion
Yeah tru but everyone has their own way of playing but it could def be better i still loved it rtho
I guess it's just a matter of interpretation. The soloist and the conductor have their own way, moreover if the part says "ad libitum".
@@julezzazzy9821 Ohhh did I hit a soft spot? I hope you feel better after writing an angry note to a minor on the internet. :) ♡
@@julezzazzy9821 jeez bro that ain't cool
The beginning at the end of the solo no one was together they all ended at the end of count 3 or 4 what ever the time signature is
Probably tired of seeing comments about quite possibly the best trombone lick in the world?
Too bad. Here’s another one
