- In this video, I'll show you how to use your yarn and needle to securely attach your crochet steering wheel cover so it stays secure and doesn't slip while driving.
Every steering wheel is a bit different, so make sure to adjust accordingly so there's a good amount of attachments all the way around the steering wheel.
The steering wheel this was demonstrated on in this video is a Toyota RAV4.
Once your #steeringwheelcover is attached, give it a good test by running your hands along the steering wheel to ensure that there is not slippage.

So helpful thank you!!
Super helpful! Thank you! 🥰
This helped me out so much! Thank you🙏
That's so cute
Thank you!!
I've found threading in a few strands of elastic THREAD - I can stretch it on in the same way I would a store bought 😉
Crochet snags easy, and lacing is not the safest way to install them. Should a person snag a ring/bracelet, watch or even a button it could lead to a dangerous situation. For my patterns I do one row of DBL crochet around the edges, and simply weave light elastic, on both sides. It holds well, but can be pulled off quickly if needed.
do you have a tutorial video for this cover? How many squares did you make? I have a Toyota too.
I just followed a flower granny square pattern and attached them together!
how long did this take you?
To crochet it, a few hours! To attach it, 5 minutes!
Idk why but I could not get my puff stitches in a straight line up. The came out every other
Are you skipping the first stitch?
why would any idiot use this cover .. it would slip so much
The purpose of this video is to show you how to attach it so it WON'T slip. I use mine in my car every day :)
@@thecozytangerinehello, i tend to have sweaty palms when driving, do you think the grip will be compromised or would it be safe? Thank you!
@@zainie1081 to be honest I’m not too sure! I think you should stay away from any steering wheel cover if you tend to have sweaty palms just to be safe
Did you not watch the video at all. Are you slow be honest
