Amethyst was shown to be able to choose her form, however, she couldn't sustain them in case of the larger ones. Rose Quartz is technically smaller than Pink Diamond, so it was probably sustainable for her.
I think Steven is ok with it. He spent an entire season and a half trying to deal with this information. Whether Rose was truly the hero the Gems made her out to be or just some monster that would cut down her allies even when they disagreed. It led him to some dark places where he considers that his birth was out of guilt. Look at how he sounds when he gets out of Pearls Gem. He's not excited nor is he terrified. He's....exhausted.

i think Pink cared about them so much, that she didn't want them to be conflicted. i remember at one point in time, they were trying to figure out where they fit and Rose gave them an answer, the answer being that they don't need to TRY to fit they are beautiful and they can fit anywhere on earth. But on the other hand Pink did have the mind of a child i don't think she stopped to think that maybe they wouldn't care about who she is just like she didn't care about who they were. it hurts now after sooooo many year because they probably think that she didn't care enough to tell them something so important.

I personally think Ruby KNEW about RQ being PD. She was so calm it was kind of... unsettling to me. Ruby has a short temper and usually has her emotions get the best of her. While Sapphire is usually the opposite. I thought about that fact and started thinking, RQ must’ve thought about Sapphires future vision. Considering Sapphires future vision she told Ruby, knowing how she would do anything for Sapphires wellbeing and considering how loyal Rubies are. Sapphire on the other hand would feel uncomfortable keeping it from Ruby and would’ve told her. Why Ruby would keep this from Sapphire for her wellbeing is Sapphire wouldn’t be able to handle it. In Keystone Motel Sapphire froze a whole room from getting into an argument with Ruby, she would do a lot more than freeze a room. Ruby HAD to know that since they had been fused for a while. (I feel like RQ would tell Ruby after the war)

I don't see it this way. I don't think that Rose aka Pink Diamond did not trust Ruby and Sapphire or lied to them but she just wanted to cut off from her past. She wanted to be an ordinary someone and live on earth with other crystal gems. She knew she wouldn't have convinced the diamonds to leave organic life on earth be - they only cared about completing the colony so PD thought it was the only way to do this [EDIT] I see Rose's change kinda as being transgender. She wasn't like other diamonds, she was different than the three of them. She cared about humans and the life on Earth whereas the diamonds did not. So she came up with this idea with Pearl. And she didn't tell Garnet because... well do u know any transgender people who come up to u and say "Hi! I used to be a girl once!". I don't think so, they aren't happy they were born this way and would like to forget about it. And so did Rose - she didn't want to be a part of this destructive diamonds' empire. She just wanted to live peacefully on Earth with humans, but "Si vis pacem, para bellum" - if you want peace, prepare for a war. She knew that Yellow and White would never agree to this (I think that she might convince Blue at some point - she seems the most mother -ish)
The thing is Sapphire and Garnet are part of the crystal gems which is based on love, truth, accepting who you are despite those flaws, and more along those lines. By not telling Garnet, she didn't tell her the truth which is a core value of the crystal gems. Garnet also wasn't able to predict the corruption blast because Rose didn't reveal that she was PD. I get that Rose had good intentions. But even if Rose only told Pearl and Garnet, that would be better as there is a chance the crystal gems could've been saved from the corruption blast. Unfortunately, Garnet has been lied to for thousands of years and many of her crystal gem friends and allies are corrupted.

My theory of how to have pink diamond and steven existing at the same time is to use yellow diamond's abilities to seperate pink diamond and steven. The drama will be so good and peace might (i said might) be restored.
Or to where her and Ruby first fused which is also where she first met Rose and might question everything then here comes Steven giving some emotional speech that Sapphire may agree to then returning to the temple where she will fuse with Ruby and then the next episode will happen where they make this episode seems like it never happened
If Rose Quartz didn't turn out to be Pink Diamond, I would have forever questioned why Rose Quartz's power was so OP: shield deflecting a Diamond attack and ability to heal. Something I find too much to be in the hands of a mere quartz. We can argue that Lapis's power can be categorized under the same lines of "regular gems having OP power." However, we haven't seen Lapis in full combat mode especially against tbe Diamonds to cast a fair judgement.

I think too she might not have reacted as extreme if Pink was still alive to explain herself. At least Garnet got closure from Pearl's explanation, you know? Instead it's like, this horrible twist for Garnet and no Pink to at least explain why she did it and what she really thought of Garnet cause their friendship comes into play like, did Rose/Pink think lower of Garnet not to tell her? Kinda like how Bismuth said did I really mean that little to you? And no Pink to confirm or deny what she said.

She literally don't know what to do to point that she break with the Ruby. Pearl was able to explain her actions when Garnet/(Ruby and Sapphire) were able to calm down enough in order to listen to her. Rose is not there to explain her actions or why she thought it was best in order to keep this a secret from everyone to where no one except Pearl ever knew. To be fair, Sapphire might forgive Pearl because she understands that Pearl was compelled/ordered never to say anything, and her anger might be directly entirely on Rose herself. And Rose is not there to justify her actions. Rose is not there where Sapphire can unleash all her pain, all her anger on Rose, especially for all the things that happened due to Rose/Pink's deception (the Cluster experiments, corrupted monsters, death of many of their friends, etc.) She can't get an answer from Rose over why this happened or why Rose thought this had to happened. And not knowing why hurts, especially to a Sapphire who is supposed to "see everything." In a way, Rose's betrayal is even worse than the one that Pearl did to Garnet/Ruby and Sapphire. Pearl lied to them once and tricked them to fuse in order to stoke her self worth. It was a terrible, devastating decision but at least Garnet/Ruby and Sapphire in some way always knew on some level where Pearl was coming from. She just violated a core trust all the same. Rose had lied to them for thousands of years, always betrayed their trust and confidence from the minute they met her, and based on that false trust and confidence, Garnet/Ruby and Sapphire remained at Rose's side. They loved her. They defended her, went to the death to defend for her, and she never trusted them enough, believed in them enough in order to tell them the full story. The story Garnet told the Off Colors in Your Mother and Mine. . .a minor hurt is that it makes Garnet/Ruby and Sapphire look like complete idiots spouting lies and BS. But since Rose was the first person that actually acknowledged their existence, their love, their individuality. . .and how special they were. . .and Garnet/Ruby and Sapphire's love for Rose was always based on a lie. . .it's clear Sapphire is going to need some time to sort things out.

I'm just wondering about Pink's powers then like, I would assume that at least the diamonds would know Pink's powers and with that in mind everyone knew Rose's powers, they were famous traits. Her shield, her healing abilities, flotation, all these have been made to seem like they were special to Rose and Rose alone. So either Pink kept her powers hidden or somehow other Rose Quartz soldiers have these abilities. which given the fact as to how useful that'd be during the war, they wouldn't have bubbled all the Rose Quartz..Right? Or did I miss an episode somewhere along the line?
I mean it's likely that as basically royalty that PD didnt ever really have to use her powers. The diamonds probably were only pushed to actually battle because it was a last resort so they may not have recognized that pinks powers were similar to Rose's
Rose and Pink Diamond having similar powers probably wouldn't raise that many alarms since I think we are meant to believe the Rose Quartz line of gems belongs to Pink Diamond. There are may be some powers Pink Diamond doesn't use as Rose Quartz because they could give her away as more powerful as she's supposed to be
I think this reveal actually adds depth to Pearl. Sometimes people in grief or living through trauma can compartmentalize ('I'm very good at compartmentalization." - that line brought tears to my eyes) and put on a facade to cope - in the case of Pearl, it seems that almost compulsive orderly behavior and appearing to be strongly independent was her mind's way of layering over and sealing up the fact that she was falling apart inside with sorrow, cut off from a source of guidance, and most importantly, her *purpose*. Everyone who wants to understand Pearl more - Google 'Compartmentalization Psychology' and read up on it. Remember, Pearls as a gemstone are made up of layers and layers of nacre covering an irritation in the flesh of an oyster. Pearl is layers and layers of behavioral change and adaptation over the trauma of losing her purpose (and potentially, someone she loved or cared for deeply, as it was implied). Pearl used to be my least favorite gem, but after this, she's my favorite character in the show.
OK guys I have a theory, What if white diamond was the one who was behind all of this? Ok let me explain, First, how is pearl supposed to be pink's pearl? Her clothes appears to have all the markings of the doamonds and her pearl is on her forehead, wouldn't she be white diamond's pearl? Because white does rule all of homeworld which would explain pearl's homeworld outfit being all the diamonds colors together. Also, seems as if some of the story has a few holes in it, as if someone tried to cover it up but missed a few plot holes. Also, we still dont know about yellow's reaction in the trials, why was she so on edge in the trials? It seems she might know something we don't. Now, what if, white diamond is trying to lie to us? Trying to make us think that rose is the bad guy? That pink asked for this? They are truly evil? Think about it, pearl looks so much like she should be white's pearl, so she would of followed white's orders and would tell a different story, also, white was not at the trials, but she might of been busy right? Or maybe, she knew what truly happened and didn't want to tell blue and yellow. I think the show is trying to catch us off guard, I think the white is behind all this! Lying to us and making everyone turn away from who the true villan is..... White Diamond.... But I might be wrong, this is just a theory after all, I just thought it was an interesting thought :p
Seeing that scene with Pearl on the battle ground after her break down really hit home...that whole episode with her freaking out on everyone about the secrets Rose/Pink hid from her really make all the more sense now. Pink had this huge scam going and Pearl knew about it the entire time and for her to hide certain things from the one person who thought they knew everything about their diamond...their "everything"...that had to really hit hard.
Sapphire never predicted or knew that Rose was Pink Diamond. She never guessed. Do you know what that means? It means that our "Rose Quartz" never even considered telling them. That she planned to live out this lie for the entirety of her existence. It means that the situation that Slice is talking about here was so impossible that even when Garnet intentionally sought out impossible realms or pools of the future, she was never able to find any possibility where Rose trusted her with this secret. I fully support Sapphire in her rage, Pink was despicable and had no care for anyone else's emotions or feelings.
im so glad im not the only one who recognizes that Rose Diamond's actions was childish rebellion and stemmed from a failure to recognize how the way her sisters saw her stemmed from her own previous acts of immaturity, and that her sister's tough love toward her to come around on her own right was exactly that "tough LOVE. she saw tough love as cold lecturing, and never thought about why they said the things they said, or delved any deeper. ever sence "whats the use of feeling blue" i've written essays on the diamonds every time we got new information (which i then posted on amino) and i've dedicated more of my freetime then i'd care to admit analyzing the family and psychological dynamic of the diamonds and their roles in their society, and comparing them to similar figures in literature (specifically classical literature, because the diamonds are essentially the goddesses of the gem race. the power gap is just way too big. and it almost broke MY HEART when Pink says "blue and yellow never cared" shes planning to fake her death and thats what she thinks of her sisters. like holy shit, look more into the psychology of the situation, her permanently changing her identity and killing off the past one, she basicly is committing scuicide of her diamond persona! and its just horrifyingly heartbreaking, and i hope sooo soo much that she can see everything steven sees. because then she could have heard her sisters cry, she could have seen the trial, she could see every piece of pain she put her own family through. and im not like the roundtable, i dont think she is a villain. im more in agreement with rebecca sugar, that its all misunderstood people doing wrongs for what they think is right. sorry i get emotionally invested every time i type about the diamonds
Woah I know why Pink did what she did but the idea of her "taking her life" because of feeling as if she wasn't loved is kind of an impact To me it seemed like Pink felt alone and like she wasn't important, which could be a way to raise awareness about suicide and bad home life Or maybe I just think really darkly...

I don't think Sapphire could have foreseen corruption if no other gem knew about it before it happened, homeworld gems don't seem to know what it is and I assume that means that its a secret to everyone other than the diamonds, so it couldn't be foreseen as Sapphire seems to need all the information to get the most likely answer.

Idk if you've noticed. But the reason that pink decided to fake her death (why it took 1000 years as you say) was because blue tells her "as long as you are here to rule, this colony will be completed." In the moon base flashback. I think that was the point that she realized pink had to die to be able to free the Earth.
It’s also very possible that the events of The Answer happened after the shattering. I mean I get that there are flashbacks that include what looks like Garnet and Pink Diamond but also I’m not sure how cannon that fragment of a flashback should be considered. Gemcation was like 100% the Crewniverse teasing us with lore we weren’t gonna her for a while.

I think this is how an episode will play out. Sapphire met pink as her original form. Sapphire watched Pink SHATTER or sentence someone to shattering.. and therefore truly liked Pd and it gives her validation as to why she went off like that..
Based on how Rose/Pink worded it, I definitely agree that she didn't know that the Diamonds would react or grieve for her, they didn't know they did care for her. A lot of loss could have been avoided, if Garnet was informed... I think this is SU's biggest tragedy.
I think that if Pink disclosed her identity to her inner circle of the Crystal Gems, it would significantly be different. Either Ruby and Sapphire would be more open to hearing her side. But it could also be a cause for detesting her at the Gem War's aftermath.
This makes a lot of sense. Sapphire seams to only be able to foresee things she already has some knowledge about. So if she had known Rose's secret, then she probably would have been able to predict all the negative things that would come from the rebellion.
I really appreciate that you consider Rose/Pink childish as opposed to evil, its nice to hear that. That being said, Garnet knowing would not have changed anything. You indicate that her knowing could have affected her prediction on how the Diamonds would react, the Diamonds reacted based on thinking Rose killed Pink, WHICH GARNET KNEW. Saphires powers seem to be based more on predictions based on knowledge, not actual future vision. She didnt know the Diamonds or their relationship, so her predicting the reaction is a bit of a reach.
I think you definitely have a point Slice. I imagine Ruby and Sapphire would probably be initially hesitant about joining Pink Diamond/Rose Quartz, but had Pink Diamond been open with them it would have made her point of embracing and loving your true self more compelling. Because, unless we see other wise, I believe Pink Diamond really felt that way, but of course went about it the wrong way completely.

It took Pink Diamond so long to decide to fake her own death because it was a last resort. We can tell from Steven's dream that she first tried to make excuses for the colony to be abandoned, even going so far as to make up Rose Quartz to convince Blue and Yellow that it wasn't worth it. She came to the conclusion that faking her own death would be the only way
Hey I had a theory like a yr ago about gems like Am, who some say over cooking is defective but I think gems that are normally tall and come out small seems to be up ability wise. Like shape shifting. Like Am 4 head whip is rare, pink diamond was small but had the strongest abilities to me. Being able to change her gem shape and form or shape shift for 3500 or so yrs, the healing and leaviting and empathy powers too. Also, pink had to have had them hands because most of her gems are troops, and the shield is so strong that it blocked the power of 3 diamonds
I 100% agree with you on Pearl and how the reveal kind of puts a damper on what was believed to be a far more interesting character. Not to say that she's not interesting, but, you know.

I personally think Ruby KNEW about RQ being PD. She was so calm it was kind of... unsettling to me. Ruby has a short temper and usually has her emotions get the best of her. While Sapphire is usually the opposite. I thought about that fact and started thinking, RQ must’ve thought about Sapphires future vision. Considering Sapphires future vision she told Ruby, knowing how she would do anything for Sapphires wellbeing and considering how loyal Rubies are. Sapphire on the other hand would feel uncomfortable keeping it from Ruby and would’ve told her. Why Ruby would keep this from Sapphire for her wellbeing is Sapphire wouldn’t be able to handle it. In Keystone Motel Sapphire froze a whole room from getting into an argument with Ruby, she would do a lot more than freeze a room. Ruby HAD to know that since they had been fused for a while. (I feel like RQ would tell Ruby after the war)
Ruby was one of PD's, so she probably has some sort of innate loyalty built in that makes her more accepting of PD's actions, whatever they are.

The thing is Sapphire and Garnet are part of the crystal gems which is based on love, truth, accepting who you are despite those flaws, and more along those lines. By not telling Garnet, she didn't tell her the truth which is a core value of the crystal gems. Garnet also wasn't able to predict the corruption blast because Rose didn't reveal that she was PD. I get that Rose had good intentions. But even if Rose only told Pearl and Garnet, that would be better as there is a chance the crystal gems could've been saved from the corruption blast. Unfortunately, Garnet has been lied to for thousands of years and many of her crystal gem friends and allies are corrupted.

If Rose Quartz didn't turn out to be Pink Diamond, I would have forever questioned why Rose Quartz's power was so OP: shield deflecting a Diamond attack and ability to heal. Something I find too much to be in the hands of a mere quartz. We can argue that Lapis's power can be categorized under the same lines of "regular gems having OP power." However, we haven't seen Lapis in full combat mode especially against tbe Diamonds to cast a fair judgement.

Take a note that this twist destroyed whole Sapphire analytic grid. Imagine such Vox on steroids which life work cased to exist. She literally don't know what to do to point that she break with the Ruby. But after her analytic skills kick in she probably start notice the real reasons for Pink actions in opposition to Vox is doing.
+martiansascha7-Right. Garnet/(Ruby and Sapphire) were able to eventually reconcile with Pearl. Pearl was able to explain her actions when Garnet/(Ruby and Sapphire) were able to calm down enough in order to listen to her. Rose is not there to explain her actions or why she thought it was best in order to keep this a secret from everyone to where no one except Pearl ever knew.
To be fair, Sapphire might forgive Pearl because she understands that Pearl was compelled/ordered never to say anything, and her anger might be directly entirely on Rose herself. And Rose is not there to justify her actions. Rose is not there where Sapphire can unleash all her pain, all her anger on Rose, especially for all the things that happened due to Rose/Pink's deception (the Cluster experiments, corrupted monsters, death of many of their friends, etc.) She can't get an answer from Rose over why this happened or why Rose thought this had to happened. And not knowing why hurts, especially to a Sapphire who is supposed to "see everything."
In a way, Rose's betrayal is even worse than the one that Pearl did to Garnet/Ruby and Sapphire. Pearl lied to them once and tricked them to fuse in order to stoke her self worth. It was a terrible, devastating decision but at least Garnet/Ruby and Sapphire in some way always knew on some level where Pearl was coming from. She just violated a core trust all the same. Rose had lied to them for thousands of years, always betrayed their trust and confidence from the minute they met her, and based on that false trust and confidence, Garnet/Ruby and Sapphire remained at Rose's side.
They loved her. They defended her, went to the death to defend for her, and she never trusted them enough, believed in them enough in order to tell them the full story. The story Garnet told the Off Colors in Your Mother and Mine. . .a minor hurt is that it makes Garnet/Ruby and Sapphire look like complete idiots spouting lies and BS. But since Rose was the first person that actually acknowledged their existence, their love, their individuality. . .and how special they were. . .and Garnet/Ruby and Sapphire's love for Rose was always based on a lie. . .it's clear Sapphire is going to need some time to sort things out.

I think this reveal actually adds depth to Pearl. Sometimes people in grief or living through trauma can compartmentalize ('I'm very good at compartmentalization." - that line brought tears to my eyes) and put on a facade to cope - in the case of Pearl, it seems that almost compulsive orderly behavior and appearing to be strongly independent was her mind's way of layering over and sealing up the fact that she was falling apart inside with sorrow, cut off from a source of guidance, and most importantly, her *purpose*. Everyone who wants to understand Pearl more - Google 'Compartmentalization Psychology' and read up on it.
Remember, Pearls as a gemstone are made up of layers and layers of nacre covering an irritation in the flesh of an oyster. Pearl is layers and layers of behavioral change and adaptation over the trauma of losing her purpose (and potentially, someone she loved or cared for deeply, as it was implied).
Pearl used to be my least favorite gem, but after this, she's my favorite character in the show.
OK guys I have a theory, What if white diamond was the one who was behind all of this? Ok let me explain, First, how is pearl supposed to be pink's pearl? Her clothes appears to have all the markings of the doamonds and her pearl is on her forehead, wouldn't she be white diamond's pearl? Because white does rule all of homeworld which would explain pearl's homeworld outfit being all the diamonds colors together. Also, seems as if some of the story has a few holes in it, as if someone tried to cover it up but missed a few plot holes. Also, we still dont know about yellow's reaction in the trials, why was she so on edge in the trials? It seems she might know something we don't. Now, what if, white diamond is trying to lie to us? Trying to make us think that rose is the bad guy? That pink asked for this? They are truly evil? Think about it, pearl looks so much like she should be white's pearl, so she would of followed white's orders and would tell a different story, also, white was not at the trials, but she might of been busy right? Seeing that scene with Pearl on the battle ground after her break down really hit home...that whole episode with her freaking out on everyone about the secrets Rose/Pink hid from her really make all the more sense now. Pink had this huge scam going and Pearl knew about it the entire time and for her to hide certain things from the one person who thought they knew everything about their diamond...their "everything"...that had to really hit hard.
Sapphire never predicted or knew that Rose was Pink Diamond. She never guessed. Do you know what that means? It means that our "Rose Quartz" never even considered telling them. That she planned to live out this lie for the entirety of her existence. It means that the situation that Slice is talking about here was so impossible that even when Garnet intentionally sought out impossible realms or pools of the future, she was never able to find any possibility where Rose trusted her with this secret. I fully support Sapphire in her rage, Pink was despicable and had no care for anyone else's emotions or feelings.

So does that imply we've seen a diamond's weapon or at least one of them being a shield? With all the crazy powers Steven gets I would imagine the other diamond share similar abilities. Eventually I'll see Steven shoot gem destabilizing lightning at some point if that's the case.

Pink Diamond knew how much of a symbol Rose Quartz was to the Crystal Gems and wanted to nurture that. She had no idea how much of a martyr Pink Diamond would be to homeworld or the devastation her loss would be.

I don't think Sapphire could have foreseen corruption if no other gem knew about it before it happened, homeworld gems don't seem to know what it is and I assume that means that its a secret to everyone other than the diamonds, so it couldn't be foreseen as Sapphire seems to need all the information to get the most likely answer.

Idk if you've noticed. But the reason that pink decided to fake her death (why it took 1000 years as you say) was because blue tells her "as long as you are here to rule, this colony will be completed." In the moon base flashback. I think that was the point that she realized pink had to die to be able to free the Earth.
It’s also very possible that the events of The Answer happened after the shattering. I mean I get that there are flashbacks that include what looks like Garnet and Pink Diamond but also I’m not sure how cannon that fragment of a flashback should be considered. Gemcation was like 100% the Crewniverse teasing us with lore we weren’t gonna her for a while.
This gives a whole new meaning to the Song Love Like You. because its as if Pink diamond/Rose quartz knows How bad she is. according to her actions and secrets. and that if she could be Half of what they think of her. all these good things they thought she was what is as viewers thought she was. She could do about anything. I belive thats what this song was pertaining too.
Damn, seeing if Pink Diamond told Ruby and Sapphire, the plot of Steven Universe would be SO MUCH different then now, what I am however more excited in the Steven Universe series, is how the three diamonds would react if they new The Leader of the rebellion was their Pink Diamond who they know and love, and I can see how Pink Diamond would think they never cared for her, coming from a family similar to her problems, everytime my notifications go off for youtube, you make me happy seeing all the ideas and theories you have for Steven Universe, this is absolutely one of the best Steven Universe Theory channels I love, you are *_AWWEESOME_*

I'm not sure how I feel about pink dimond yet, but I do like how the new episodes show her childish side because how she went about rebelling against the dimonds is kind of like how a teenager would rebel against their parents lol

Based on how Rose/Pink worded it, I definitely agree that she didn't know that the Diamonds would react or grieve for her, they didn't know they did care for her.
A lot of loss could have been avoided, if Garnet was informed...
I think this is SU's biggest tragedy.
I think that if Pink disclosed her identity to her inner circle of the Crystal Gems, it would significantly be different. Either Ruby and Sapphire would be more open to hearing her side. But it could also be a cause for detesting her at the Gem War's aftermath.
This makes a lot of sense. Sapphire seams to only be able to foresee things she already has some knowledge about. So if she had known Rose's secret, then she probably would have been able to predict all the negative things that would come from the rebellion.
I really appreciate that you consider Rose/Pink childish as opposed to evil, its nice to hear that.
That being said, Garnet knowing would not have changed anything. You indicate that her knowing could have affected her prediction on how the Diamonds would react, the Diamonds reacted based on thinking Rose killed Pink, WHICH GARNET KNEW. Saphires powers seem to be based more on predictions based on knowledge, not actual future vision. She didnt know the Diamonds or their relationship, so her predicting the reaction is a bit of a reach.
I think you definitely have a point Slice. I imagine Ruby and Sapphire would probably be initially hesitant about joining Pink Diamond/Rose Quartz, but had Pink Diamond been open with them it would have made her point of embracing and loving your true self more compelling. Because, unless we see other wise, I believe Pink Diamond really felt that way, but of course went about it the wrong way completely.

I’m pretty sure the trail leading up to the warp pad when sapphire is warping away is ice considering whenever sapphire is emotionally distraught she starts to create ice around her
It took Pink Diamond so long to decide to fake her own death because it was a last resort. We can tell from Steven's dream that she first tried to make excuses for the colony to be abandoned, even going so far as to make up Rose Quartz to convince Blue and Yellow that it wasn't worth it. She came to the conclusion that faking her own death would be the only way
Hey I had a theory like a yr ago about gems like Am, who some say over cooking is defective but I think gems that are normally tall and come out small seems to be up ability wise. Like shape shifting. Like Am 4 head whip is rare, pink diamond was small but had the strongest abilities to me. Being able to change her gem shape and form or shape shift for 3500 or so yrs, the healing and leaviting and empathy powers too. Also, pink had to have had them hands because most of her gems are troops, and the shield is so strong that it blocked the power of 3 diamonds
I 100% agree with you on Pearl and how the reveal kind of puts a damper on what was believed to be a far more interesting character. Not to say that she's not interesting, but, you know.
