  • @janellejames4526
    @janellejames4526 3 года назад

    Hi, I love the cards. The colour matching really makes them look so pretty. Thanks for sharing your ideas. You inspire me to dive in and make a production line and just make a whole heap. The combinations and ideas are endless. Thanks Robin. You could also emboss the the red card front or emboss the green square, you could also ink blend the edge of the white sentiment tag (maybe just a hint of the pink or the orange from the patterned patter.) You could use dimensionals to lift layers. But you also need to know when to stop... when enough is enough. It’s like eating a delicious meal but have one bite too much and you don’t enjoy it quite as much because sometimes that last bite is one bite too much. Always make it to how you like it and not to how you think someone else will like it. BUT ALWAYS HAVE FUN AND JUST PLAY. Hugs from Australia ❤️❤️🐨❤️❤️ Enjoy

    • @reallyrobinstamps
      @reallyrobinstamps  3 года назад

      I love your ideas for adding "more" to a card, and you are correct about going one step too far. Balance is the key I think. Unfortunately my brain knows better when to stop adding embellishments to a card front than when to stop taking bites of delicious food!

    • @janellejames4526
      @janellejames4526 3 года назад

      Thanks for your reply Robin. I hope you didn’t think that I was criticising you, because I wasn’t. Sometimes I think I should add something more or I think there is too much white space or maybe not enough and you’re right it is a fine line of balance. Do I add 3 sequins or 5 type of thing? Do I stamp the sentiment in black or use a colour from the patterned paper? You know what I mean. I find if I make it to please someone else then I usually find someone wrong with it and want to fix it... there’s that extra bite again. But I do want to thank you for the templates. Now I know what to do with those patterned prints I was avoiding because I was never quite sure what to do with them. And I didn’t want to ruin or waste a beautiful sheet of paper. Now I see them differently and I want to thank you for helping to remove that mental barrier that I was using as an excuse to leave them in the “too hard or I’ll think about that one later basket”. Now I have no reason to put it off. I can now start using up the hundreds of sheets (literally) in that basket. Thanks so much. I appreciate it. Keep up the great ideas...I need the push. Can’t wait to watch more videos. Take care. Love and hugs from Australia ❤️❤️🐨❤️❤️🌻
