The way I see it is that if Prince Andrew *genuinely* doesn't remember hurting this particular woman, it's because there are just too many girls that he abused and they've all blurred together in his mind.

With all the servants waiting on him 24/7 from birth on ... the fawning governesses, the semi-public life, the adoring British fans, the wealth, the luxury constantly available, the fact that he was the Queen's favorite child, etc., etc.. And you think he was spoiled - you are absolutely right!! With his background, it's no wonder he believed the world was his oyster! Maybe this scandal will wake him up, although I couldn't care less if it does or doesn't happen!! It really looks like the Queen's own children will cause her subjects to try to abolish the "royals" after her death, and maybe it should!! It is an ancient relic popular for centuries, but the people needed it during that time. I fail to see why they would want it to continue on and on in this new era!

@Beverley Lumb - just a word of caution regarding your assumptions and judgements of the Queen: firstly, it might be best not to take as 100% gospel what you see on The Crown (I love it and think they have probably done their research well but it is still a narrative that is being woven). Secondly, she didn't have a choice - she was very young and had little chance to go against the traditions of her family; it was considered that her job as a monarch was more important than nursing a baby; this was also 'normal' for the upper classes at this time.
Lastly, you seem to be doing the old 'damned if you do; damned if you don't' concerning her reaction to Andrew's behaviour (as well as assuming that she has always known about any unlawful behaviour he may have engaged in in the past). If she stands by him that's a bad thing; if she rejects him she's cold!!

Your analysis was measured and reasonable - and it's why I like your channel. This is the interview that keeps on giving. I especially enjoyed when, on the topic of who he thought the girls were and how he ignores staff, Andrew said "I don't wish to appear grand" while totally appearing grand.

Great content, as always, Dr. Grande. I can’t believe Prince Andrew would say he loved the “amazing opportunities.” Do princes lack opportunity in life? 😂

A balanced assessment by Dr Grande.
Avoiding explicit accusation but putting forward the pros and cons of Andrew's behavior at the interview.
Andrew displayed a great deal of hesitancy and uncertainty in most of his answers which could only have instilled doubt in the mind of the listener, not reassurance. There were heavy undertones of the still dominant UK class system in what Andrew had to say and the way he said it

The photo was very telling. I personally have never met any “staff member” and cuddled with them in a photo. Royal and Formal Etiquette is CLEAR that when dancing or in photography a man should Never place their hand touching the skin of the woman. It’s considered very inappropriate. (This is actually formally taught) Also, the woman standing behind them, looks as though she’s admiring what she has presented to him. (as if the young lady is a gift or an offering) I would have thought this had I not known the backstory.

This whole situation with Prince Andrew intrigues me. I've read that he's basically dodging speaking with the FBI. Anyone else who did that would be in very much more trouble I'm sure it wouldn't fly. It's unfortunate that money, power, who you are or who you know can keep you out of trouble. I thought that was just the American way but now i realize it's everywhere. Which i guess i did know but seeing an example just makes it real. Great video as always 💕 hope you're having a great day ❤️
