When I was 9 years old, we went to an alpine coaster on Mount Wachusett in Massachusetts. It was a concrete bobsled run. You sat in a plastic cart just like these. The handle was the break. If you let go of the handle it will spring up towards your chest and would stop you. So you had to hold and lean forward to go fast. That was the $hit. Thanks for sharing! Blessings

What if grizzly bears lined up alongside the track to stick out their paws and try to catch riders, the way they catch salmon in rivers. That would be even more exciting

i wouldnt mind if we had a commuting system like this cause id go everywhere of course this couldn’t accommodate a large population without being congested but its not too far off from being possible and being better than present infrastructure

That reminds me of the rail horse ride at Pirate's World in Florida you got on a wooden horse you had one little strapped around your waist and you hung onto the handles that came out of the head. Needless to say that ride was stopped once a snake came out from underneath the horse and bit some little girl👧🏻🐍 It was a very scary cool ride I'm surprised there weren't more injuries before they closed it. Or maybe they just didn't tell US.👍🏼 it was something like what this guy's riding it took you all around. It was cool

The tube has a "fin" on the topside. There are guides on the sled that straddle the fin and keep it upright.
