I did subscribe. I like your work. Are you in Germany? My family came from the Netherlands.
@@KitchensbySavina Thanks
Would it be ok to fill with putty after I paint?
Good video and nice repair, but you should be commenting as your doing the
video, and say what products your using, and where to buy them.

hi! excellent result!
how much time do u wait between putting paint and varnish?
Thanks. 15-20 minutes
beautiful leveling and color matching. I question the wearability of the repair
Thanks. You can restore any damage
Gonna give this a try. The wearability of the original wasn't too hot (excuse the pun)
Will this work on faux marble i have a hookah burn as well
Amazing, inspirational video. Thanks a million. I have the same problem. Which tool kit should I buy to do this job myself?
Thanks. You can start with a minimal set. Link to the set in the description under the video - amzn.to/3q9jjrp
@@TheRestorer thank you so much
Do I need everything that you included in the “more” section?
Hi - i accidentally damage the floor with candle - and putty is of different color but its very shallow - could anyone help me, which type of color should i buy to color it back and get the satin finish
Hi. Which do you recommend?
Colorfill /seamfill or hard wax melted?
For a tiny 3mm patch where the laminate worktop layer peeled off due to a burn.?
If either was used and then sprayed with konig clear lacquer would this make it waterproof?
Use hard wax. The varnish will fix the wax and the surface will become waterproof
Hi awesome work. Could one use the acrylics they use on lady's nails to restore a match burn on a melamine counter top instead of the hard wax?
Thanks😉👍
Nail polish will not work. It is very glossy. It will be noticeable.
@@TheRestorer Thank you but I meant the acrylics used on / for nails and not the nail polish.
Hi. Which tool are you using to clean the burnt place
Hi. Electric Engraver
@The Restorer
I have a counter top that is like a lighter shade of taupe (light brown) with speckles and I’m wondering where online I can order the hard wax you used

Outstanding work and video! You have inspired me to try it out :) What type of paint do I need to paint over the wax or putty?
You can use acrylic paints. Cover the surface with a varnish of appropriate gloss
@@TheRestorer Thank you for answering my question.
Hi, what type of paint are you using?
Would it be ok to paint after I filled it with putty?
Yes, you can
Hello, question should i wait for the paint to dry before scrapping it
The paint needs to dry

Hey and thanks for the videos! I have the kit and generally have the idea of how it works, but... Any chance you know/could recommend someone who could do this professionally in Prague, Czech Republic?

At 2:10 you use some sort of plastic “grinder”, to even out the wax. What is the name of it? I found the wax melter and the wax but still can not figure out what that thing is called. Thanks

@@TheRestorer Ok thanks, can't find it anywhere though, but I guess any tool that can level the wax with the surface will be good enough?

It is possible. But you need to use other materials - hard waxes for ceramics and stone - amzn.to/3d8NXgq - Tile repair kit
Can you share all the tools/supplies, paint, and wax colors/names and brands used in this video. This is the exact color and pattern of my countertop that needs a burn repair. Thx!!

@@goldenboi24k I did'nt make this video, but this may help. I can't find the Same brand on Amazon in the US. I think either the Mohawk Hard Fill Sticks which burn it is a good choice or Mohawk's Fil-Sticks which are a hard wax and can be melted with a hair dryer. Just search those brands on Amazon.
